“Hannah was absolutely amazing with my two pups. I could especially tell that she worked really hard to keep them cool and hydrated in the heat. I came home to happy, tired dogs.”

“Super friendly and lovely to have in the house to look after my pup! Had no concerns, did a great job attending to my pups needs and came over prior to meet him and answer any questions. Will defo book again ☺️”

About: I studied animals in Writtle college (work based animal studies level 2). I spent a year working in a doggy daycare and a few months working in a greyhound training kennel with over 200 dogs to take care of. As a child, I helped raise many Italian greyhound puppies because my mother used to breed them. I volunteer at a care farm in the Colchester area every Friday. I have dog walking insurance. I am available most of the time apart from Friday daytime and parts of Sunday when I'm at church. Any other commitments in my life can be moved around to fit in with your schedule. I have a 6 ft fenced garden although my flat does not go directly to it. I primarily work as a dog walker but would consider looking after your pets at my home. I do not smoke or vape and take the safety of your dogs very seriously. My flat is a good size and would therefore be suitable for larger dogs as well as small which would be well entertained and let outside regularly as well as walked.

About: I have taken care of pets my entire life, growing up with a cat, two rabbits and hamsters. I’ve always been such an animal lover and get so much joy from being surrounded by pets and getting the chance to look after them. I currently own 2 tabby cats and a 4 year old cockapoo who are all the most important things in my life! On a typical week I am free all throughout the day on weekdays but no weekday evenings and fully available over the weekends including evenings. I have a fenced garden with plenty of space for them to run around. I have one dog (a 4 year old cockapoo) who’s incredibly friendly with others. We do own two cats however they are never around during the day.

“I can’t recommend Charlotte highly enough! She looked after our dog Baxter for two weeks, and we couldn’t have been happier with the care and attention she provided. She is such a lovely, warm, and likeable person, which instantly put us at ease. From daily updates and photos to ensuring our dog was well-exercised, fed, and happy, she went above and beyond. Baxter clearly adored their time together. It gave us such peace of mind knowing he was in such capable and caring hands. Thank you, Charlotte – we’ll definitely be booking with you again!”

“We have just adopted a little dog from Battersea, who has separation anxiety. We were in a difficult situation as we had a funeral to go to, but also couldn’t leave Céala! Step in John to the rescue, with short notice. John was amazing, calm and gentle and Céala, who is timid, was absolutely fine with him. He arrived on time, listened carefully to all the many instructions and concerns. He took great care of her and sent photos and texts to put our minds at rest. Céala was her perfect little self when we got home and unphased. We can’t thank John enough, we will definitely use his services again and we would highly recommend him :-)”

About: Since the age of 10 I have been walking dogs for neighbours, family and friends. I am intuitive with dogs, as well as confident and caring. My family have brought up a litter of puppies so I have experience with young pups. I also have experience with older dogs/dogs with ailments. I am available in the mornings until 8am and in the afternoons from around 1pm onwards and into the evening. Monday- Friday, however if you need a weekend walk please do get in touch and I will consider it based on my diary. I do not offer pet sitting services. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

About: I have been my family’s designated dog sitter for just under 10 years, I will show your pup (all dogs are puppies in my eyes) as much love as if they are my own I have the flexibility to work from home 4/5 days a week and can be there to let your furry friend out and interact thought the day. My weekends are usually free so the days will be spend with your dog. I will care for your dog within their own environment to ensure they feel safe and comfortable. Which I hope will limit any extra stress

“Karen has been, quite honestly, amazing. She came several times prior to meet Poppy. On the actual day of our departure, Poppy have her excited squeal when Karen arrived. We had a bit of an issue accessing this site abroad, but we managed to keep in touch. Regular updates and photos were a boon. We can't rate Karen highly enough. For 2 weeks, she kept our beloved Poppy happy and healthy. If we could give a higher rating, we would. Thank you Karen”

“Martin is fantastic! I have two disabled dogs and he listened to instructions carefully, and enacted their needs. He’s kind and gentle and my dogs took to him immediately. Will definitely book him again. Thank you!”

“You should not hesitate to book Cat to care for your dog. She really goes above and beyond. Cat is the first person I have ever employed to look after my dog overnight and I was so nervous about leaving him. I could instantly tell she has everything under control and I was really able to enjoy my night away! Her great understanding of dog behaviour meant that she was not put off by my dogs history of reactivity to some other dogs. 5 star all round.”

About: I was raised in a family where we always had animals (dogs and cats); I guess my parents tried to teach us from childhood to have duties and responsibilities. NGL - I can’t imagine living without a dog at home since they are so adorable and lovely. I enjoy and love (honestly) being around animals and playing with them. I am used to helping my friends when they travel and still do so; inspired by them, I created this profile ☺️ Currently, I am a masters student at UoE and most of my in person classes are scheduled in a few days or one day a week, so I do spend a lot of time at home reading books and writing assignments, which means I could ensure that your dog will get lots of attention ( if needed ) and care ☺️🫶 Usually my routine starts quite early, I am used to mornings and do go to the gym, out for a run or just walk around Colchester, I don’t drive so need to walk everywhere (that’s a benefit at some point but also not 😁). Fan of nature, live around lot’s of parks where I could walk a dog 🐶 I do understand responsibilities and take my duties seriously, because I understand how hard sometimes is to trust a stranger. As mentioned before I lived with the dogs since I was a small kid (my mother has old pictures in an albums I so promise to upload them just for the record 😆) so it’s not new to me so I am responsible guy. I do promise to let you know if something happened and keep you updated or stay in touch whenever you need me or miss your dog 🙏

About: With wide experience of looking after a variety of dogs, I am comfortable with all sizes of dogs, I have completed work educational study in animal care and take pride in having a great experiences with animals and everyone enjoying a fun time , which is just as important to me :) I have owned dogs for many years and have experience with dogs medical needs as well. I am a hybrid worker and work from home a lot so can be flexible with times and dates of bookings. I like be flexible and adaptable. I like to allow pets to feel comfortable, and minimise any stress of their owners being away, I try to interact, and try stick to their routines as much as possible.

“I couldn’t be happier with the care Oliver provided for my dogs! He was attentive, reliable, and truly cared for Cash and Opie as if they were his own. My dogs were happy, well-fed, and clearly enjoyed their time together. The updates and photos were a great touch, giving me peace of mind while I was away. I highly recommend Oliver to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate dog watcher!””
