About: I grew up with 4 dogs. I fed, watered, bathed, walked and cared for a Maltese, Cocker Spaniel, Doberman Pinscher and a Queensland Heeler from the time I was 8 until I went off to college to U.C. Santa Cruz when I was 18. During my time at College I house and dog sat for my college mentor. She had a Black Lab. I would take care of her dog and house anywhere from a few days to a week at a time. I truly love animals and would be so excited to provide excellent care to any animal in my charge. I am an extremely active individual and love playing outside. I play rugby, soccer, basketball, futsol, football... pretty much anything with a ball. So I can more than keep up with any dog. I love to go for runs in nature and would appreciate the opportunity to bring a 4 legged companion along. I adore all animals and I treat my pets as if they were my children. About: For as long as I can remember I’ve taken care of dogs. I had a dog walking/sitting business in high school and really enjoyed the company of all dogs big and small. I give them the playtime needed and the relaxing downtime when they are done playing. I love to take them on Walks and to the dog park as much as I can and have always had a soft spot for dogs and cats. I work full time Monday-Friday from 5 a.m.-1:30 p.m. I have breaks throughout my shifts and can go home to check on the dogs or cats when needed. After work I’d have plenty of time for playing/walking/and potentially dog parks as well. Weekends and completely free for me and can spend a little more time with them. I will treat your dogs/cats as I do my own. Tons of love and affection while taking care of their wants and needs. I have no issues cleaning up dog messes as I’ve had to do that for my own pets for years. I can pet sit at my apartment but would prefer to pet sit at your home. Although my dogs are friendly and enjoy the presence of other animals, we would have to do a meet and greet outside my home before having them stay over at my place to get the dogs acquainted.
About: My family has owned and trained German Shepherds my whole life. I have lots of experience with maintaining puppy care and training. I'm not afraid to pick up poop. I also have owned and trained a horse from ground up for 11 years. I have some senior care in administrating medications with meals and I have also dealt with picky eaters! I work Friday-Monday 8-5 (back in town by 6) and am happy to do overnight care or early/night check in on those days. Tuesday-Thursday I have all day availability. I am looking to get more exercise, more animal companionship and a little extra cash on the side! I do not care for pets in my home because we have a dog that does not play well with others. This was the first time we used Rover. We chose Amanda to watch our cat, Moe. I can’t give high enough praise for the service we received. Each time Amanda visited we got an update and photos.
