About: I have cared for pets since I can remember! I grew up with two sisters who also loved animals and over the course of my life I have loved many small dogs, cats, turtles, fish, a bird, and a rabbit. I also gained a good amount of experience and knowledge on how to take care of pets through my time working at Pet Supplies Plus, where I would often advise customers on what would be most helpful to get their pets feeling good again. In my time here, I also cared for and helped heal many creatures, including cats, fish, cockatiels, ferrets, hamsters, and guinea pigs. I love bonding with pets and I find it really fulfilling getting to care for them as I get to know them. I have cared for others pets several times throughout my life- largely neighbors and family. Most recently, I got to pet sit while traveling and house sat for two lovely homes in Scotland. I care a lot about making sure that spaces are maintained and I am happy to do any household chores that may arise. I’m currently in university and may need to adjust for my classes, but I can be free after 1 on Wednesday, before 4 on Thursday, and any time Friday-Sunday and Tuesday. I know the best trails to take your pup around in the WNC area and if they have a preferred place to walk, I always love exploring more! I believe in fitting myself into the natural routine of your furry friend wherever I can. If there's a specific time they like to play, eat, or get walked, I'm more than happy to accommodate! With pets that I'm just meeting, I like to meet them where they want to be met, and if that includes playing fetch all day, I'm happy to do so.

About: Since a young adult, I have loved having pets. At first I just had cats, and I love them! Later in life I became a dog mom too. Currently we have 1 big dog and 1 cat; we live in the forest and they are in and out all day long! They both get along well with other animals. I am a teacher and so will be off for summer! I will have plenty of time to give your pet the love it needs! We live in a quiet neighborhood in the forest; while we don’t have a fenced area, there are nice roads and paths to walk dogs. The area Down by our stream is quiet and private- we take our pets here regularly and let them run around. We also take long leash walks. I have a medium and large size kennels if your pet is used to crates.

About: My family’s pet care business has allowed me to spend the last 3 years learning the in’s and outs of the drop-in and dog walking business and as I transition to college I bring that knowledge to my own business and hope to be able to spoil your pets! Our home has often been an exotic barnyard and I’ve been fortunate enough to gain experience with all types of animals. Message me for a meet and greet and we can see if I would be a good fit! About: I have taken care of multiple dogs between helping out at a dog kennel to dogsitting for family to walking neighbors and family friends dogs as well. I also have three Pit Bulls of my own who trust me to take care of them! I am currently a college student at Western Carolina University, so my availibility depends on when my classes end. I am more than free over weekends unless I am visiting home or most game days! I can more than happily feed your dogs in the evening or let them out for potty breaks if you are running a little behind in work! it is important to me that your dogs trust me and understand that I am safe to be around them! About: I have grown up always having multiple family dogs at a time and cared for them independently from a very young age. Because of this longterm experience, I have cared for the entire age-range from puppies to elderly. I have always enjoyed spending time with animals, taking care of them, playing with them, and making them happy! I also know that dogs can tell who “dog-people” are and feel more comfortable with them - I am always the person that dogs come up to and hang around by at the party! I am currently working full-time but can do morning check-ins or walks before 8am or around 6:30pm any day of the week. Pet sitting for the day at your home would be possible on the weekends. I have cared for escape-artist dogs in the past and know the proper way to enter/exit a home to minimize risk of them bolting, and how to hold on to a leash with backup support for unexpected pulling. Having treats that your dogs like available to help with crating or other parts of the check-in or walking process may also be very helpful.

About: When I was born my mom and dad had 2 dogs, Petey and Jersey. A jack Russel and a Border Collie, I grew up with them and they grew up with me. There was never a time after them that we didn’t have at least 1 dog in the house at all times, most of the time it was 2 dogs and 2 cats. Sometimes it was more sometimes it was less. I’ve helped raise countless puppies and watched many dogs grow old. I’ve taught many puppies how to sit, potty correctly, I’ve bathed and dried. I’ve played with them for hours on end and most importantly gave them all the required attention. I love dogs so much, it is my genuine favorite thing to spend time with dogs. I currently work 4 am - 1 pm, so any time after 1 pm and on my lunches I am available for dog walking and drop ins. On Wednesday and Thursday I am off of work and am available for house sitting. I do not care for dogs in my home but with certain circumstances I may be able to care for your cat, if need be they would be in one of our 2 bedrooms.

I understand it is scary leaving your baby in the hands of someone new but I am more than willing to prove myself that I am the best! I have volunteered at many animal shelters and have walked plenty of dogs (including my teachers) on campus! I am currently working part time, my schedule is very flexible. About: I have been dog training for the past 3 years slowly growing my business. I love taking care of animals as it is my passion! I work a few hours during the week but typically my schedule stays pretty open, most of the time I can fit in your needs! I do not have a fenced in yard but I have a nice neighborhood where I can take your dog for plenty of walks and exercise.

About: I’ve cared for dogs, cats and hamsters for a couple of years first was my family dog, then my cat in college and roommate’s hamster I only work 2-3 days out of the week for only 2 hours and I am free weekends. Which gives me enough time to care for your pets and spend time with them. I can also care for smaller pets like fish or hamsters if needed. In my home,which is my dorm, I feed my cat twice a day and make sure his water bowl is always full and clean out his litter box at the beginning of each day. In case of a fire I grab my cat with his emergency bag and I have also helped my roommate get her hamster out during a fire drill. I always make sure to spend time playing with them as well. For clients I make sure to care for their pets as I would want anyone else to care for mine; providing the food as asked by the client and cleaning after the pet as asked which includes cleaning the litter box or going for walks and playing with the pets.

About: Hi! I have taken care of animals my whole life! I am 20 years old! I currently work at a doggy daycare! I Can’t wait to meet you and your fur babies!! I am currently working full time at a doggy daycare ! I just moved back to Statesville after being gone for 4 years! I lived here for almost 15 years haha! I worked at an animal hospital before this job and I loved it! I had to quit because of me moving it was too much gas! About: My first word was "cat" because of my attachment to our family feline, Miss Mystery. This first utterance foretold a life-long love of animals though dogs would become the norm in my household. Throughout high school, I volunteered at the local Humane Society and one of my first full-time jobs was a Dog Rescue Attendant. At twenty, I adopted my first dog (outside of family animals, of course) -- a dachshund mix named Leelu -- and she was my steadfast companion for 14 years. I now have a 3 yr. old lab-Australian Shepard mix - Gidget. Both of my girls have taught me invaluable lessons about dog care; specifically, I've learned a lot about different breed personalities and needs, puppy training and enrichment, senior dog care, and limited mobility dog care. I aspire to be the best dog mom possible and I will bring that same energy and commitment to working with your pet. I recently returned to North Carolina and I'm in the process of looking for full-time positions in my field. This process can take quite some time, but allows for a very flexible schedule. I'm available during the week from 8:00 - 7:00pm - late evenings upon special request; same goes for the weekend. I want your animal to see me as a companion -- a human they enthusiastically greet when we spend time together! Your pet will be treated with the same doting affection I lavish on my own pup. If I'm taking your dog on a walk, I'll make sure they're exercised, but also, they'll get plenty of time to interact with their surroundings and enjoy the sunshine. If I'm dropping in for a "play date," this would look like whatever your dog enjoys the most -- maybe tug-of-war, hide-and-seek, fetch, or puzzle games (every dog is different!). Regardless of the service, your pet will get lots of attention and belly rubs (if that's their thing). Ultimately, I will seek guidance from you, the owner, and follow your lead on how best to spend time with your pet!
