About: Ive been a pet owner and lover most of my life. When I was 11 years old I volunteered at an SPCA pet shelter. Ever since then I have a special place in my heart for doggies and kitties. My wife is also a Rover Sitter. I am retired and enjoy getting out, helping people and their furry kids. I can show up with a 1 day notice, anytime M-F. Thank you! I prefer to see your pet at your own property. My yard is not fenced, but I can walk them on a leash if necessary. With 3 cats and a dog, my house is pet proof. My wife is also a Rover Sitter.

About: I can adapt to you and your dog's needs and wants ranging from medical needs to behavioral modification or simply some love and snuggles! Not only do I support positive reinforcement, I also like to include doggy fitness for healthy joints and long lives. I've been known to give a doggy massage, or two. I specialize in small toy breeds and aging pets. But love going for a run with medium to big doggos. I have worked with paraplegic pups and dogs that need injections. I understand how to read dog body language and sense what they are feeling. I find this extremely important in providing a safe, happy comfortable setting for an animal away from their family and normal schedule. I make sure everyone has a happy, wagging tail. During walks and drop ins I find it important to spend this time providing a fun, energized visit to up their spirit and make the time fly by.

“I’m a little late adding this, as I’m still learning the Rover platform, but wanted to share our experience after the first couple of weeks working with Cheyenne. We hired Cheyenne through Rover to walk my parents’ dogs while my dad recovers from knee surgery, and we had a great experience right from the first two walks. Both Cheyenne and I are new to Rover, so it took a few tries, but we’re figuring it out together. Cheyenne was quick to respond when I first reached out and was flexible in adjusting her schedule for a meet and greet, which she initiated. That made getting everything set up feel easy from the start. I had originally scheduled two 60-minute walks for both dogs, but ended up needing to change it to just one dog. Our second dog is a new rescue Mountain Feist (about 25 pounds), and she wasn’t home for those first two walks. Cheyenne adjusted without any issues and was very accommodating. Our other dog a Retriever (about 40 pounds) took to her right away and clearly enjoyed the walks. She completed two full hour-long walks and sent updates and photos each time, which gave us peace of mind. For the second week, Cheyenne had some vacation plans come up, but she still made the effort to fit in one 60-minute walk before leaving. We really appreciated her willingness to work with our schedule and make sure our dog was taken care of. So far, she’s been reliable, easy to communicate with, and a great help during a time when we really needed it.”

About: I am a college student at WCU! And since I was a little girl I have cared for animals and my heart grows bigger for them each day! I understand it is scary leaving your baby in the hands of someone new but I am more than willing to prove myself that I am the best! I have volunteered at many animal shelters and have walked plenty of dogs (including my teachers) on campus! I am currently working part time, my schedule is very flexible. About: A medium dog mommy almost my whole life. If your dog ain't happy, you're not happy, so I will deliver hugs and pets when you want to but can't. I am fit and can take brisk walks, heat not withstanding. I am conscientious, timely, and will work hard to over deliver on your expectations! We have a dog, cat, and ball python. About: I’ve owned both cats and dogs my whole life, and more recently I’ve owned chickens as well. Starting with cats, I’ve fed and cleaned up after the ones we’ve owned, as well as taken care of the cats and kittens we fostered over the years. I’ve bottle fed them, helped give vaccines, and everything else in between when it comes to raising and taking care of them. I have also helped pet sit many of our neighbors as well as friends cats over the years. We have also owned several dogs, and I have tons of experience with walking and feeding them. We currently own 3; 2 small dogs and 1 big dog, so I have learned how to take care of many sizes of dog. Like with cats, I’ve also walked and fed my neighbors dogs many times when they’ve gone out of town. All of our chickens free range and are egg layers, so I treat them like any other pet and not like livestock. About: Ever since I was 10 I have had experience taking care of animals. At one point in time we had 26 animals throughout our house that we had to care for. I take pride in caring for animals because they are a true joy and blessing in this world. I also have a dog of my own who is very well trained that I have had for 7 years now. I have quite a lot of free time. Therefore, potentially walking and taking care of your pets will not only give me something to fill my time with but also give me immense enjoyment! Any scheduling conflicts you may have won't be a problem for me! My house currently does not have a fence, however I will gladly walk your pets on a leash if need be.
