About: My family and I raised my first dog from a puppy. All the dogs (and cats) who followed were rescues. Most were seniors that we cared for till they passed away. I’ve also owned parakeets, and taught them to talk! Our current lifestyle makes it difficult to have pets of our own, and we miss them! If you’re looking for someone to love on your pup, kitty, or bird, I’d love to help out. Please note that **Birds will be charged the same rate as cats.**. You will need to enter your bird as a cat. Caring for chickens must be arranged outside of Rover, as Rover is for pets only. I’m happy to feed your pets, walk your dogs, or stay with pets in your home while you’re away. As an owner of pets for many years, I enjoy their company; and, many times, pets are drawn to me.

About: I can adapt to you and your dog's needs and wants ranging from medical needs to behavioral modification or simply some love and snuggles! Not only do I support positive reinforcement, I also like to include doggy fitness for healthy joints and long lives. I've been known to give a doggy massage, or two. I specialize in small toy breeds and aging pets. But love going for a run with medium to big doggos. I have worked with paraplegic pups and dogs that need injections. I understand how to read dog body language and sense what they are feeling. I find this extremely important in providing a safe, happy comfortable setting for an animal away from their family and normal schedule. I make sure everyone has a happy, wagging tail. During walks and drop ins I find it important to spend this time providing a fun, energized visit to up their spirit and make the time fly by.

About: Since a little girl, there has always been dogs inside or outside of the house. As of right now, I have six dogs all different sizes, ages, and personalities. Therefore, I am very comfortable handling anything from energetic puppies to senior pups who need a gentler space. I understand how to manage multiple dogs at once and read their body language to make sure each one gets the care they need. Because of that, I am patient, adaptable, and used to real life situations. I treat every animal like they are my own regardless of where I am (why I have 6 lol), and make sure they feel safe and loved. I am currently a freshman in college who is fully online. Therefore, I have plenty of time on my hands to play with your pups and get what they need! During the summer time, I will be doing this full time as I will be on break. I have a large yard with many pups yours can play with. If needed, I can easily crate your dog if that is what you prefer, however, all dogs are welcome on the furniture here. I also have a quieter space for the older, wanting to sleep dogs🙂

About: I would love to look after your fur babies. I have 2 dogs of my own and they truly are man's best friends. I would make sure I take care of yours just like I would my own. I work at a daycare in Highlands, Nc. I have a break during the day if I need to come walk a dog or feed an animal. I also live close to Highlands so I am available to help in the evenings as well. Like I said I have 2 dogs in my home. They are house trained so they are able to roam around the house. I can also make room for pet carrier.

About: I have always had a dog that I could share adventures with. I know the feeling when you are busy with work and need a reliable dog walker or house sitter that will care for your dog just as you would. Now that I have time, I would like to help others with that. I am available to housesit your dog most any weekend and beginning June 1 through August 15th, I am available to house sit most anytime. I have been a teacher for 20 years, so safety is always at the center of each decision. If I were caring for a dog in another family's home, I would be mindful of security, house alarms, locks, and also what the pet could possibly get into inside the home that could be dangerous. I would follow all requests and procedures in the home indicated by the family.

About: I love dogs. I will put all my attention to taking care of your pet and keep certain routines in place. I will continue training that has already been put in place. Dog walks will be extensive. Can be firm and strict but also loving and tolerable. Available most hours. I have a pretty flexible schedule free for pet watching. I will feed dogs according to schedule. I can do over night sitting any time. I am willing to drive mostly anywhere. Just need some extra money. I am very flexible with my schedule and can work as much as I can. About: I’ve cared for dogs, cats and hamsters for a couple of years first was my family dog, then my cat in college and roommate’s hamster I only work 2-3 days out of the week for only 2 hours and I am free weekends. Which gives me enough time to care for your pets and spend time with them. I can also care for smaller pets like fish or hamsters if needed. In my home,which is my dorm, I feed my cat twice a day and make sure his water bowl is always full and clean out his litter box at the beginning of each day. In case of a fire I grab my cat with his emergency bag and I have also helped my roommate get her hamster out during a fire drill. I always make sure to spend time playing with them as well. For clients I make sure to care for their pets as I would want anyone else to care for mine; providing the food as asked by the client and cleaning after the pet as asked which includes cleaning the litter box or going for walks and playing with the pets.

About: Ever since I was 10 I have had experience taking care of animals. At one point in time we had 26 animals throughout our house that we had to care for. I take pride in caring for animals because they are a true joy and blessing in this world. I also have a dog of my own who is very well trained that I have had for 7 years now. I have quite a lot of free time. Therefore, potentially walking and taking care of your pets will not only give me something to fill my time with but also give me immense enjoyment! Any scheduling conflicts you may have won't be a problem for me! My house currently does not have a fence, however I will gladly walk your pets on a leash if need be. I have a lot of experience with animals and have no problem walking or putting your animals in a crate if it is what is needed.
