About: My family and I raised my first dog from a puppy. All the dogs (and cats) who followed were rescues. Most were seniors that we cared for till they passed away. I’ve also owned parakeets, and taught them to talk! Our current lifestyle makes it difficult to have pets of our own, and we miss them! I have 5 Sphynx cats 2 rescue dogs and a golden retriever puppy. We live on 10 acres and a watershed. There is plenty to entertain a dog.. About: I believe that I came into this world with a profound love for all animals. I grew up in rural, Southwest GA, and spent the majority of my childhood days playing with our many dogs and cats. My father was an avid outdoorsman who bred labs for hunting dogs, so I grew up constantly loving and tending to the pups! We also had many outdoor, 'barn' cats which occupied my time. Fast forward to present, I now have a five year old, female Golden Retriever (Josie) of my own and she is my most loyal companion. She was the most loving and caring dog I ever met but lost her to a serious illness and I just love to give out my heart to animals and would love to spend some time with your animals.
