“Our Aussie has been boarding with James J and family for over 3 years now and they’ve been wonderful. Our latest board with them was for 15 days when we were out of the country; they sent us photos and kept in touch the whole time. Excellent, conscientious care!”

“If I could give 10 Stars, I would!!! Megan is the best…period. She communicates very well, my dog adores her, she’s diligent about bringing him outside for exercise, and she’s been unbelievably flexible! I will use her again and again and again!!”

“Our senior dog, Maggie, loved her stay with Laura and her family. Laura sent us pictures and kept us informed on how Maggie was doing with her. I would definitely use Laura again! Maggie felt like she was on a vacation!”

“Mini had a great time staying with Mary! She has the best setup for dog-sitting! I highly recommend Mary and would definitely use her again if we are ever back in the area! Thank you, Mary!! We appreciate you!”

About: I love all animals and taking care of them is a dream job. I live in the Franklin NC area year around. I was raised with Boxers and have been a dog momma for 10 rescues. I have an open schedule however I have a wedding in June and a cruise in August. I am flexible and can be on call if necessary. My pets are inside animals. I have 8 acres with a fenced area and 2 friendly labs. I never allow my dogs off leash unless they are in the fenced area. My dogs are never left unattended outside the home. My cat is an indoor cat.
“Tia is awesome! My pup’s first overnight and day camp went great. She sent lots of cute pics and the sweetest little write-up of how his stay went. I felt so comfortable leaving my little guy with her, especially after getting to meet the other dogs and seeing how calm and loving she was in her interactions with all of them. We are so grateful that our dog has a safe and nurturing place to socialize, play, and tire himself out! We will definitely be back and he can’t wait 😊”

About: I have been caring for my own animals since I was a child. Additionally, I have extensive animal care experience through working with family, friends, and other clients. I provide personalized, attentive care tailored to each dog’s unique needs and personality. Whether caring for energetic puppies, adult dogs, or senior pets, I focus on creating a safe, comfortable, and loving environment where they feel at home. I understand the special needs of young puppies, including potty breaks, basic routine reinforcement, and plenty of supervised play. For senior dogs, I provide gentle care, patience, medication support (if needed), and a calm environment that helps them stay comfortable and relaxed. My goal is to treat every dog like family, ensuring they receive the attention, exercise, affection, and care they deserve while giving pet parents peace of mind. I work and live at GTR Adventures, which is a side-by-side rental company in Bryson City, NC. I am here full time everyday so I can give your dog all the attention and care they could possibly need while also sending photo updates and more. I have a massive fenced in patio where the dogs can hang out, I also have a fenced in area in the backyard where they can go to the bathroom/play. If I am ever going inside my house I’ll bring the dogs in with me. I can easily take your dog for a walk whenever aswell.
“I would highly recommend Summer to anyone needing a pet sitter. She was extremely patient and understanding to both of our older dogs. She kept us informed and sent pictures that helped us both feel very comfortable with leaving our dogs the first time with someone.”

“Amanda is so sweet and thoughtful. Her dog Cleo is a cutie pie and did very well with our Golden Retriever during overnight boarding. Great communication. Hope to use her services again in the future. Recommend highly!”

“I was in a pinch to find someone at the last minute to care for my puppy for a few days, and am so glad that Stefanie accepted the request. She was wonderful! A definite animal lover, she knows dogs and their behavior well. She was very accommodating (drop off had to be late in the evening) and went above and beyond to make sure my puppy and I felt comfortable before I left. Tucker had a blast during his "vacay" and did not want to leave his new buddies behind when it was time to go home. Detailed text messages with updates and pictures every day were terrific. And when I picked Tucker up, Stefanie had even washed his bed and given him a bath (well, at least tried to!) I would definitely use Stefanie's services again.”
“We left our dog with Licia and Paul for the day while we rafted the Chattooga. They let us do an early am drop off because we had to be at the rafting place by 7:45am. They were very easy to communicate with and have a lovely home with 2 other dogs. They gave updates that we received after we got off the river and our dog seemed to enjoy his day with them! I would highly recommend them to anyone needing dog care in the North Georgia area!”

“Now keep in mind this is my first experience using Rover. That's how I found Robin. In the beginning I was scared that she wouldn't want to take care of a hyper puppy that is a crybaby. Keep in mind this is a 50 pd 8 month pitt mix. Robin was amazing with her. She had never been around puppies/dogs. Robin and her fur babies welcomed us with open arms. Robin went as far as sending me a video and pictures. I never once had to worry about Quu while I was away. Five Star Review”

“Joyce was a pleasure to work with. I felt really comfortable leaving my pack with her. There is a big yard for the dogs to frolic in and the boys were able to stay in a room and play together with out mixing with other dogs. My pack can be a little quirky and she was able to roll with their personalities wonderfully. Her daily updates were hilarious and it felt like she cared for my boys like they were her own.”

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
