“Took great care of my dog even with all of his allergy needs and his one million preferences. It was great to be able to relax on my work trip knowing he was safe and sound and happy. Thanks!”

“Kaitlyn and her family were so wonderful to our dog, Cocoa! They treated her like their own and she was so spoiled staying with them! Kaitlyn sent several photo updates throughout each day! She took Cocoa on multiple daily walks, made sure she ate her food, gave her a new toy, and even sent her home with a new bandana! It was purr-fect!”

“Tia is awesome! My pup’s first overnight and day camp went great. She sent lots of cute pics and the sweetest little write-up of how his stay went. I felt so comfortable leaving my little guy with her, especially after getting to meet the other dogs and seeing how calm and loving she was in her interactions with all of them. We are so grateful that our dog has a safe and nurturing place to socialize, play, and tire himself out! We will definitely be back and he can’t wait 😊”

“Mini had a great time staying with Mary! She has the best setup for dog-sitting! I highly recommend Mary and would definitely use her again if we are ever back in the area! Thank you, Mary!! We appreciate you!”

“Sparky and Angel were so happy to visit with Jay and Nancy again! This time for a whole week! We felt so comfortable leaving them in Jay and Nancy's care. Nancy sent photos every day showing us what a great time they were having, and that they were happy and healthy and having fun:) They are loving, caring people, and have a lot of property where the dogs can safely run and explore. We would not hesitate to entrust our fur kids to Jay and Nancy, and highly recommend them. Thanks for letting us enjoy a great family vacation.”

“Dodger loved Michelle! She was fantastic at sending pictures and keeping me up-to-date. Lots of other doggy company for Dodger’s social interaction development. I felt completely comfortable leaving him with her for the first time. Will definitely use her again!”

“Our dog normally exhibits some separation anxiety but when we left him to board with Summer he adjusted well. Her family gave him plenty of attention and he enjoyed playing with their dog. The photo updates and good night messages were very thoughtful. I appreciated the communication since our dog is not often out of our sight. I have full confidence in Summer and will definitely be a repeat customer.”

“Megan is such a wonderful dog sitter. Her love for dogs shines through and when we picked up Penny, Megan gave us feedback on the stay and how everything went. Penny was obviously comfortable with her and now I know we have a knowledgeable, trustworthy person we can count on to care for our dog when we are out of town.”

She is very conveniently located for many of the local attractions and we will be contacting her for some doggy daycare or overnight stays next time we are in the WNC mountains so Willie will enjoy his vacation as well in great company!”

About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life. I am a trustworthy retired RN who is looking to spoil your dogs while you are away. I am a non-smoker and very active with walking/hikes and pickleball. I am retired now for 5 years and spend my day actively with hike/bikes/pickleball to name a few activities. I am available most days with proper notice. I do not have a fenced yard but do have a 7-year-old dog named Dori who gets her exercise walking daily. If you pup likes fenced in yards caring for your dog would be better at your home.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
