“Yazmine was the absolute best!! She took care of my puppy, who is cute but also a puppy. She kept me abreast of what was happening, helped come up with a strategy to help him sleep in his crate, and played with him endlessly. I could not have asked for a better partner. Thank you!”

“This was our first time using Catie, and we couldn’t have been more pleased! She was very kind and accommodating as our plans were rather fluid…and throughout her stay in our home, she was very communicative; sending pictures and updates, with most showing just how happy and comfortable our girl Zoe was with her new friend! Our dog and our home were both in great shape upon our return. We will absolutely use Catie again, for upcoming vacations or spot visits as needed.”

About: My 3 kids and I run a small business caring for animals mostly dogs. All 3 are in their 20’s. My son, Adam does most of the walks and house sitting, I handle the boarding. My reviews are not only for me but for my boys as well. I come from a long line of animal lovers and grew up with many dogs, cats, birds, hamsters. Animals are my life! They offer unconditional love and rely on us to give them love, affection and to meet all of their basic needs. I own my own home on a private dead end street. When your fur babies are here, they are part of our family and are never left alone. There is always someone at home I recently left my job in the medical field. I’m spending my time now with my adult children and my dogs. Life is too short to not do what you love everyday Safety is a priority in my home and I live on a private street with only two houses so there is absolutely zero traffic here

About: I have cared for cats and dogs on and off since I was 10. Friends and family members have trusted me with the care of their pets. Presently, I am available 7 days a week. I provide stimulating, loving care for your fur baby. I can care for up to 2 pets per day, or as my schedule allows. Right now, I do not have the ability to care for pets in my home. Any care that I give will have to be public or in the client's home. I am fully insured and bonded for your peace of mind.

“Amazing person. Gentle, kind and caring with my pup. House sat and was respectful with my home, and left everything immaculate (not easy with a puppy who is still house training!). Great communication and sent lots of pic too!”

“Emma was absolutely amazing . She was so great with my rescue. He has social anxiety but would have never known with how quickly he bonded with Emma . She went above and beyond in communication and giving extra care to my needy dog. Highly recommend”

“Caroline was absolutely amazing with our girl, Daisy. She sent us photos and videos so we could see her while away. Daisy clearly loved being cared for by Caroline! Highly recommend and will definitely book Caroline again!”

Rose is very responsive, communicative, and a genuinely kind person who made me feel so comfortable trusting her with my dog.”

I’m currently working part time, but will soon start school so my schedule will be more open, towards the evening, I am completely available after 3 pm once I start school I can easily follow any directions provided and will treat your pet as my own, whether it is feeding it or walking it, I am able to do what’s required from me in a timely and safe way

“We are so happy we met Nicole to watch our 2 pups and cat while we were away. She handled our 2 big pups like a pro - they are not the easiest and are a bit on guard when meeting new people but she quickly put them at ease. She sent daily updates and followed our instructions perfectly. I am very happy that we have Nicole to trust with our animals!”

About: I’ve taken care of 3 dogs at a time, I’m an active person and can keep your pets busy and active and if being active is not their thing, I can also sit with them and do other activities that doesn’t require running etc. I’m currently unemployed so I’m available anytime! I also make myself available for any last minute sitting needed so long as I don't have another booking. Your pet’s well-being is my top priority. I provide a safe environment and ensure they’re within eye sight. Whether it’s daily walks, feeding, playtime, or medication, I've got it covered with attention to detail and lots of love.

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life—I grew up in a home with two pups who were truly members of the family. From an early age, I learned the importance of patience, consistency, and unconditional love when it comes to caring for animals. That early bond sparked a lifelong passion for pet care, and since then, I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I have hands-on experience with crate training, leash manners, basic obedience, and administering medications. I’ve worked with energetic puppies learning boundaries as well as senior dogs needing extra TLC and mobility support. What really sets me apart is the individual attention I give every pup. I understand that each dog has their own personality and comfort zone, and I take the time to get to know them so they feel safe, relaxed, and genuinely cared for. Whether your dog needs a jogging partner, a snuggle buddy, or a calm presence when you're away, I’ll be there with open arms (and plenty of belly rubs). I work a flexible hybrid schedule, which means I’m often able to work from home. This allows me to give your pet plenty of attention, care, and playtime throughout the day. I’m happy to coordinate with you to find the best schedule that ensures your pup gets all the love and companionship they need while you're away! I’ve grown up with multiple dogs in the family, so caring for pups has always been second nature to me. I truly believe every dog deserves to feel loved, safe, and well-cared for—even when their humans are away. That’s why I treat every pet I care for just like I would my own: with lots of affection, consistent routines, and thoughtful attention to their individual needs. Whether it’s making sure they get enough time to walk, run, and play, feeding them on schedule, or providing any special care they may need, I’m committed to keeping your pet happy and healthy. I always aim to create a calm and comfortable environment where your dog feels like they’re part of the family.

About: I’ve had my dog, Wicket — an 8 lb Yorkie/Maltese rescue — for 8 years, and before that, I regularly cared for friends’ and acquaintances’ dogs. Over time, I’ve gotten experience with all kinds of personalities: easygoing companions, high-energy pups, and reactive dogs who need extra patience and understanding. I truly enjoy being around dogs — probably more than people. I take the time to figure out what makes each one comfortable and happy, whether that’s a long walk, a game of fetch, or simply sharing the couch. I’m comfortable with leash handling, sticking to routines, and giving medication if needed. You’ll get regular updates and photos so you know your dog is safe, happy, and well cared for until you’re home. I’m home most of the time, so I can give pets plenty of attention and keep to their usual routines. Walks, feedings, playtime, and check-ins can happen whenever they’re needed, and I can be flexible with timing — including mornings, evenings, and weekends. I live in a pet-friendly home with my own small dog, Wicket, who’s 8 lbs and friendly with other dogs once introduced. I don’t have a fenced yard, but I make sure all walks are on-leash and safe. At home, dogs have access to cozy spots for resting and plenty of supervised time with me. I can easily crate your dog if needed and will follow any rules or routines you have in place. When I’m in your home, I keep things just the way your pet is used to — same feeding times, same walking routes, and the same comfy spots they love. I’m careful about keeping doors and gates secure and always check that they’re settled before I leave.

Tuckahoe pet parents share their Rover experiences
Jacqueline was fantastic for our unique house sitting request! They were flexible with our non-traditional evening timeframe, arrived promptly, and maintained excellent communication throughout. Most importantly, our large dog (who can be anxious in new places) was clearly happy and comfortable with them. We returned to find our pup relaxed and content. Would definitely book with Jacqueline again and highly recommend them to other pet parents!

Genesis house sit for my 2 dogs and 2 cats while we were away for 2 and a half weeks. She sent constant updates every day and when my cat had an emergency she immediately called me and followed veterinary instructions on my behalf when we couldn’t come back. She made a follow up appointment with his regular vet, gave him his medication and was back to himself by the time I got back. She also bought toys for both the dogs and the cats while we were away and played with them all the time. They were very happy to be with her and I would definitely call her again!
