About: We have owned and cared for dogs and cats for our entire lives. Friends and family joyfully leave their fur babies with us for day and overnight stays on a regular basis. We very much enjoy taking pups for walks through town, woods and the beach. We're happy to walk your dog in the environment that's best for them. We work from home as an artist and artisan and are available to provide constant monitoring and supervision for pets under our care. We generally offer services from November-May. My home has plenty of space to give your pet quiet solo time if desired. I currently have a 2.5 year old female lab mix who absolutely loves dogs and cats alike as well as a cat who really enjoys watching dogs (he has his own space on the second floor if dogs and cats need/want to be separated). We typically do a morning, afternoon and evening walk that is 1-2 miles long, but can adjust the distance and frequency to suit your pet. In addition to walks, we visit the yard frequently for play and potty breaks. We take pride in tailoring your dog's visit to individual needs. Your dog will have a room that will be their own for the duration of their stay so they can eat without interruption at their own pace (as well as sleep and hang out if they prefer solo time). If your dog desires, we also have plenty of common area space to interact with people as well as our dog.
“We cannot say enough good things about Jennifer as a sitter! She was courteous, communicative, and professional, and she took such good care of Maki. He loved being at the beach so much that he didn’t want to go back inside after their walks! We would leave Maki in Jennifer’s care any time, and we were so grateful that we could enjoy our non-dog-friendly Ptown activities without any worries.”

“Tara was a great fit to dog sit our dachshund “Jeep” while we went on a day sailing trip on Cape Cod Bay. She took Jeep for a beach walk and periodically sent pics to put our mind at ease. I call her the Jeep whisperer as he was comfortable enough to take a nap at her her place while we sailed the high seas!”

“I was extremely happy with the care that David provided and feel absolutely comfortable entrusting him to look after Luna any time. I found everything about the experience positive and will absolutely be using his services on a regular basis going forward.”

“Glenn and Kirsten were wonderful with our dog and super responsive with a last minute request for day care after our outside dog boarding plans on cape cod fell through. She had a great day, would recommend to anyone!”

About: Dogs are the best kind of “people” I’ve never met a dog I didn’t like. Engaging and playing with a dog is good for the soul as well as the mind. Nothing is as satisfying is running and exploring on the beach, meeting new friends, splashing in the surf, etc. I am all about fun being had but I also maintain a safe home and activity. I am highly organized and also very much in tune with your dog’s Health and well being. As a teacher it is critical to be in tune with your students needs. How they are dealt with will have an impact. Respect, love, direct instruction, affection with boundaries are essential. Vira Any dog and I will create a strong bond
About: I have take care of animals for over 2 decades. Pups are my favorite and I also have chickens and volunteers with horses on a local farm. I respect nature and appreciate what great companions animals are for us humans. I treat them as family members. I had 3 dogs from puppies to their senior age and understand all stages of dog lives. I can play, socialize, train puppies. Walk fast pace with athletic dogs or slow down for littles or seniors. I can give medicine and keep an eye on health any conditions. I have 10yo son who is a huge dog lover and helps out with our dog and chickens and also does barn chores at the farm. I feel so blessed we both feel the same love for all creatures on Earth. I currently work from home, so your pup(s) will have a companion most of the time. I also go on 2-3 walks a day and we have a nice private yard for additional play and relax. We have a private yard, one friendly 2yo Boston terrier who has proven to be more than a gracious host to all sorts of furry visitors. He naturally accepts their energy if they want to play or are shy and need time. We also had some rescues and traumatized pets and Gizmo proved to a respectful companion. He is the reason I love pups and want them to have the most fantastic time in our home.

About: Hello, I'm Marjorie! Dogs have always been a part of my family. I'm one of those annoying people on the street who just HAS to say hi to your dog when you're trying to mind your own business and walk them. They are so special, sweet and they truly make our lives better. In the past, I have worked as a full-time dog walker. I have owned dogs my whole life and currently have two dogs. Tessie, an 8 year old Cattle Dog Mix and Norman, a 5 year old yellow lab. While they are best friends, they're always open to making new ones! We love hikes, swimming and fetch. Depending on your location and your pups preferences, I could take your pup for a leashed walk out your front door or drive to a wooded trail or beach for more adventure. I could bring one or both my dogs for playtime or socialization if you request, or leave them behind! I also have a fenced in yard where they could come hang out for a couple hours, like a play date if you wanted more than just a walk/short visit. I'm flexible to fit your pups needs. I absolutely adore dogs and they deserve to have the best day, every day. I am a full time Firefighter/EMT. My schedule does rotate but generally I have flexible availability throughout the week on days I am not working. I have a fenced in yard and two pups of my own who are friendly and always want to make new friends. While I do allow dogs on my furniture and bed, if you have different rules at home and prefer they abide by them, I will respect that.
“Fantástic and accommodating sitter ! Heather knows what she’s doing ! She was able to care for our 6 year old active mini golden doodle Nickle who is always a bit anxious when we separate . She was able to walk him and comfort him . Her amazing place is super neat, clean and spacious for your pup! Thanks so much for!”

“Karen was absolutely great and super nice! I truly appreciated her being able to take care of pup so last minute, and she was completely flexible with me when running a little later than expected for pick up time:) She also sent me pictures and updates of my pup throughout the day which was definitely comforting to know my puppy was in good hands and having a great time:) I would definitely leave my dog with her in the future:)”

“William is very responsive and did a fantastic job. He was available to watch our dog last minute and brought him back home to us after watching him. Would highly recommend!!”

“Cassandra was awesome! She was Rufus’ first ever babysitting and he loved her! So did we. She lovely and caring and he seems to have had a perfect day and adventure. Thanks, Cassamdra!”

“Kellie is great. She is very accommodating and flexible when setting up a daycare or extended care visit. She loves her guests and retreats them as her own. Our Labradoodle always loves to visit. Feedback regarding activities during her visits are thorough and greatly appreciated. We have found our go-to friend and care giver for Olive.”
“Andrea and Bob’s love for animals was evident from the start. They provide photos and updates regularly whenever our little Maggie stays with them. When we drop Maggie off at their house she is so excited and eager to go in. We feel fortunate to have Andrea and Bob take care of our little Yorkie whenever we need them to.”

“Michele took good care of our senior dog so we could be tourists in Chatham for the day! She’s got a great fenced in and grassy back yard and even took notes for our dogs special needs.”

About: I am a very compassionate, enthusiastic person that absolutely loves dogs! I don’t have a dog of my own anymore and only take one dog with no other dogs - unless the dogs in your family are more than one - the more the merrier in that case I’m in! I know many dogs do not get along with other dogs which is normal for many dogs, no worries I get it! This is a huge peace of mind for many dogs and their owners- and my specialty catering to one dog - hence my pricing. Believe me it’s worth every penny! A bit about me- my family and friends have always say “I’m a dog whisperer”! I have always had dogs in my life, but I lost my best friend (yellow lab). She was my soulmate! I am now ready to enjoy and take care of your fur-baby or fur-babies as my own. I give one on one attention to your dog that you will not find anywhere! All the dogs do very well with me, and their owner’s have all said they’ve had a huge relief knowing their fur- babies are in good, loving hands with me! You will absolutely have a peace of mind!! I’m available for house sitting in their comfort of your home or vacation/summer home or boarding here at my home. I also do drop in visits with walks, play and company for your pet. I love going on adventures with trail hikes, beaches and exploring with your pups. I know dogs, and I know their needs. Dogs need social interactions, company and lots of attention just like we do as humans! Your dog(s) will always be my bestie too! I look forward to hearing from you, meeting you and your fur baby! I am home full time (early retired teacher) and have plenty of time to walk, play and cuddle with your pet! I’m available for your needs and your pet needs too! I have a great yard, deck to play and hang out together. I live in a quiet area that has great places for taking walks, hikes, beaches (when dogs are allowed during the year here), and adventures with your fur baby! People tell me it’s like doggie vacation camp when their dogs come stay with me!
