About: I grew up with animals. As a result, I have had the responsibility of animal care since I was 6 years old. It is a part of my core self. I trained a rescue pit bull in my adult life. Through this process I learned a lot about the psychology of dogs and how to be a responsible dog owner. I had 12 wonderful years with her. I lost her in May and i am missing that canine connection. I am responsible, dependable, and I have a flexible schedule and a calm home. I have a flexible schedule. I work full time but some of that is from home. When I am not, at home, my office is a 7 minute drive away. Well behaved dogs can come to my office me. I have a small home that is primarily one floor. It has a yard (not fenced). I do not have children or other pets. I live a quiet and calm life and I am able to attend to animals with full attention.

“I had to leave my very attached golden doodle overnight for the first time over the weekend when my sister was getting married. Julie offered to do a meet and greet a week ahead of time and immediately put my mind at ease! She is very welcoming ..even comfortable with my dog’s weird quirks (like trying to eat socks eek). It was great that she had a few dogs at once so they could play all day together as well. My dog had a great time and I didn’t have to worry at all while I was with my sister during such an important weekend. I highly recommend Julie. About: We have owned and cared for dogs and cats for our entire lives. Friends and family joyfully leave their fur babies with us for day and overnight stays on a regular basis. We very much enjoy taking pups for walks through town, woods and the beach. We're happy to walk your dog in the environment that's best for them. We work from home as an artist and artisan and are available to provide constant monitoring and supervision for pets under our care. We generally offer services from November-May. My home has plenty of space to give your pet quiet solo time if desired. I currently have a 2.5 year old female lab mix who absolutely loves dogs and cats alike as well as a cat who really enjoys watching dogs (he has his own space on the second floor if dogs and cats need/want to be separated). We typically do a morning, afternoon and evening walk that is 1-2 miles long, but can adjust the distance and frequency to suit your pet. In addition to walks, we visit the yard frequently for play and potty breaks. We take pride in tailoring your dog's visit to individual needs. Your dog will have a room that will be their own for the duration of their stay so they can eat without interruption at their own pace (as well as sleep and hang out if they prefer solo time). If your dog desires, we also have plenty of common area space to interact with people as well as our dog.

About: I’m a young outdoors person who loves animals. Your animals needs will always be met with me. Whether it’s a younger dog who need lots of playing time and exercise, or an older pet who just needs loving, I will be perfect for the job. I’ve lived with animals in my house for my entire life. From Dobermans to Shih Tzus and turtles to fish. I have been house sitting for friends and neighbors for a while now with no issues. I’ve also done some dog training while my brother got his service dog. No matter what, your pets needs will be taken care of with me with love. I am a college student on winter break and would love to work a little bit over the break. Until January 20th, I am available 7 days a week and any times you need. The only times I will not be available is Christmas Eve/ Christmas Day. Other than that I have a very flexible schedule. I’ve got 2 older dogs (poodle and shih tzu) who are very friendly and love to play. I’ve got 2 different sized cages, small and large, for any type of dog you have. We do not have a fence in back yard but a large backyard to run around in with a leash and lovely neighborhood.

About: I am a very compassionate, enthusiastic person that absolutely loves dogs! I don’t have a dog of my own anymore and only take one dog with no other dogs - unless the dogs in your family are more than one - the more the merrier in that case I’m in! I know many dogs do not get along with other dogs which is normal for many dogs, no worries I get it! This is a huge peace of mind for many dogs and their owners- and my specialty catering to one dog - hence my pricing. Believe me it’s worth every penny! Julie offered to do a meet and greet a week ahead of time and immediately put my mind at ease! She is very welcoming ..even comfortable with my dog’s weird quirks (like trying to eat socks eek). It was great that she had a few dogs at once so they could play all day together as well. My dog had a great time and I didn’t have to worry at all while I was with my sister during such an important weekend. I highly recommend Julie. When we are home as a family, the dogs are out with us enjoying life. When we are out of the house, they are either crated or secured in a room with fresh water. Safety/Security and respecting the animals are my core values. While the animals in my home are cared for like family, they are taught to respect boundaries and work for affection. In my care, pets are leashed unless they are in a secure, fenced area. I take the time to understand each animal is an individual who has unique needs. I cater my approach to each animal based on their specific demeanor.
