About: We have owned and cared for dogs and cats for our entire lives. Friends and family joyfully leave their fur babies with us for day and overnight stays on a regular basis. We very much enjoy taking pups for walks through town, woods and the beach. We're happy to walk your dog in the environment that's best for them. We work from home as an artist and artisan and are available to provide constant monitoring and supervision for pets under our care. We generally offer services from November-May. My home has plenty of space to give your pet quiet solo time if desired. I currently have a 2.5 year old female lab mix who absolutely loves dogs and cats alike as well as a cat who really enjoys watching dogs (he has his own space on the second floor if dogs and cats need/want to be separated). We typically do a morning, afternoon and evening walk that is 1-2 miles long, but can adjust the distance and frequency to suit your pet. In addition to walks, we visit the yard frequently for play and potty breaks. We take pride in tailoring your dog's visit to individual needs. Your dog will have a room that will be their own for the duration of their stay so they can eat without interruption at their own pace (as well as sleep and hang out if they prefer solo time). If your dog desires, we also have plenty of common area space to interact with people as well as our dog.

About: I have take care of animals for over 2 decades. Pups are my favorite and I also have chickens and volunteers with horses on a local farm. I respect nature and appreciate what great companions animals are for us humans. I treat them as family members. I had 3 dogs from puppies to their senior age and understand all stages of dog lives. I can play, socialize, train puppies. Walk fast pace with athletic dogs or slow down for littles or seniors. I can give medicine and keep an eye on health any conditions. I have 10yo son who is a huge dog lover and helps out with our dog and chickens and also does barn chores at the farm. I feel so blessed we both feel the same love for all creatures on Earth. I currently work from home, so your pup(s) will have a companion most of the time. I also go on 2-3 walks a day and we have a nice private yard for additional play and relax. We have a private yard, one friendly 2yo Boston terrier who has proven to be more than a gracious host to all sorts of furry visitors. He naturally accepts their energy if they want to play or are shy and need time. We also had some rescues and traumatized pets and Gizmo proved to a respectful companion. He is the reason I love pups and want them to have the most fantastic time in our home.

About: Hi, I’m Shannon! I have taken care of cats and dogs since I was a child (including my prior childhood cats with diabetes, heart failure, and AIDS — so I come bearing experience taking care of sick pets, administering medications, etc.). Whether it’s taking energetic dogs on hikes and beach walks, or snuggling with a tame kitty on the couch, I spend time doing whatever the pet enjoys doing the most. I make it my responsibility to go above and beyond in making pets feel not only comfortable but also loved! I am transitioning between working in healthcare and beginning medical school soon — I won’t be working April and May so I have full time to look after fur babies! I live in a very safe neighborhood on a quiet street in the southern side of Chelmsford. I have a large fenced in backyard with tons of space for playing. There are no other pets or children in the home so your pet gets my full attention!

I don’t have a dog of my own anymore and only take one dog with no other dogs - unless the dogs in your family are more than one - the more the merrier in that case I’m in! I know many dogs do not get along with other dogs which is normal for many dogs, no worries I get it! This is a huge peace of mind for many dogs and their owners- and my specialty catering to one dog - hence my pricing. Believe me it’s worth every penny! A bit about me- my family and friends have always say “I’m a dog whisperer”! I have always had dogs in my life, but I lost my best friend (yellow lab). She was my soulmate! I am now ready to enjoy and take care of your fur-baby or fur-babies as my own. I give one on one attention to your dog that you will not find anywhere! All the dogs do very well with me, and their owner’s have all said they’ve had a huge relief knowing their fur- babies are in good, loving hands with me! You will absolutely have a peace of mind!! I’m available for house sitting in their comfort of your home or vacation/summer home or boarding here at my home. I also do drop in visits with walks, play and company for your pet. I love going on adventures with trail hikes, beaches and exploring with your pups. I know dogs, and I know their needs. About: I am a very active 49 year old mom with adult children and two small dogs. I grew up with animals my whole life, and my family even owned a chain of pet stores when I was growing up, where I worked. My family is packed with doctors and vets. I move to the Cape full time and am available to walk dogs, house sit, and board small to medium sized animals in my home in Orleans. We have a fenced in backyard and lots of space to run on the beach. I work remotely, part-time as an attorney and set my own schedule. My true love is animals! My flexibility gives me plenty of time to care for pets, in your home, in mine, or just for a walk. I take my dogs for a daily run to on the beach and am happy to take along another. I can also care for your dog alone in your home (and leave mine home with my amazing family). Finally, I am available for walking your pup, most days in your neighborhood or mine. We have an acre of land and half is fenced in for dogs. We have extra cages if desired. Ours never enjoyed their crates. We will follow your schedule and treat your pet like a member of the family. We invite interviews in advance to ensure we are the right fit for your pet.
