Norma is an anxious girl and Sara was able to quickly attune to her and help her feel right at ease (Norma usually barks when she meets new people; she didn’t bark at all upon meeting Sara and warmed to her very quickly!). Sara was responsive and communicative throughout Norma’s stay, sending along status updates and sweet photos and videos of Norma looking relaxed and happy. About: I have had dogs all while growing up, I absolutely adore them. I am used to being around and caring for dogs of all sizes and ages as well. I am not afraid of dogs and can comfortably handle all energy types! I have been regularly dog sitting and walking for the past 5 years so I am very comfortable in most situations. About: I have take care of animals for over 2 decades. Pups are my favorite and I also have chickens and volunteers with horses on a local farm. I respect nature and appreciate what great companions animals are for us humans. I treat them as family members. I had 3 dogs from puppies to their senior age and understand all stages of dog lives. About: We have owned and cared for dogs and cats for our entire lives. Friends and family joyfully leave their fur babies with us for day and overnight stays on a regular basis. We very much enjoy taking pups for walks through town, woods and the beach. We're happy to walk your dog in the environment that's best for them. We work from home as an artist and artisan and are available to provide constant monitoring and supervision for pets under our care. We generally offer services from November-May. My home has plenty of space to give your pet quiet solo time if desired. I currently have a 2.5 year old female lab mix who absolutely loves dogs and cats alike as well as a cat who really enjoys watching dogs (he has his own space on the second floor if dogs and cats need/want to be separated). We typically do a morning, afternoon and evening walk that is 1-2 miles long, but can adjust the distance and frequency to suit your pet. In addition to walks, we visit the yard frequently for play and potty breaks. We take pride in tailoring your dog's visit to individual needs. Your dog will have a room that will be their own for the duration of their stay so they can eat without interruption at their own pace (as well as sleep and hang out if they prefer solo time). About: I am a very active 49 year old mom with adult children and two small dogs. I grew up with animals my whole life, and my family even owned a chain of pet stores when I was growing up, where I worked. My family is packed with doctors and vets. I move to the Cape full time and am available to walk dogs, house sit, and board small to medium sized animals in my home in Orleans. We have a fenced in backyard and lots of space to run on the beach. I work remotely, part-time as an attorney and set my own schedule. My true love is animals! My flexibility gives me plenty of time to care for pets, in your home, in mine, or just for a walk. I take my dogs for a daily run to on the beach and am happy to take along another. I can also care for your dog alone in your home (and leave mine home with my amazing family). Finally, I am available for walking your pup, most days in your neighborhood or mine. We have an acre of land and half is fenced in for dogs. We have extra cages if desired. Ours never enjoyed their crates. We will follow your schedule and treat your pet like a member of the family. We invite interviews in advance to ensure we are the right fit for your pet.

After having a traumatic experience with a Rover watcher, I was honestly very nervous to trust anyone with my dog ever again. Mark restored my faith completely. Not only was he one of the kindest people I’ve met in a long time, he has an incredible heart for animals. He treated my pup like a treasured family member. My dog instantly loved him. But while I was gone he went out of his way to make sure she had the best day each day…play dates, went on adventure walks, cuddles! He was knowledgeable about dog traing and grooming (my dog came back soft and shiny.) He even bought her a very expensive chew toy, which he sent her home with. She actually cried a little when I took her home because she got so attached to Marc. I cannot recommend Marc highly enough.”

I had time with all of their dogs prior to leaving mine with them and can attest to the fact their dogs are super dog friendly and well behaved. Our dogs came back tired and super well cared for.
