About: I grew up with animals. As a result, I have had the responsibility of animal care since I was 6 years old. It is a part of my core self. I trained a rescue pit bull in my adult life. Through this process I learned a lot about the psychology of dogs and how to be a responsible dog owner. I had 12 wonderful years with her. I lost her in May and i am missing that canine connection. I am responsible, dependable, and I have a flexible schedule and a calm home. I have a flexible schedule. I work full time but some of that is from home. When I am not, at home, my office is a 7 minute drive away. Well behaved dogs can come to my office me. I have a small home that is primarily one floor. It has a yard (not fenced). I do not have children or other pets. I live a quiet and calm life and I am able to attend to animals with full attention.

This was only Sadie‘s second time boarding in someone else’s home without me…I learned from my first experience that Sadie does not do great with other pets in the house… and, even though Kari’s was pet free, I was still trepidatious about trying another boarding situation in a strange (to my pup) home. My fears were immediately alleviated upon meeting and seeing Kari interact with Sadie and how she let Sadie explore around her wonderful home. Physical relief was all I felt when I left Sadie with her. Kari kept me informed each day with reports and pictures of what she and Sadie were doing, and I was never worried that Sadie was anxious or anything but completely comfortable. Seriously will make sure that Kari is available anytime I plan anything where I need to leave Sadie with someone for any reason! About: I have been taking care of our bull dogs for seven years now. We adopt and had three before our oldest recently passed away. Bull dogs provide quite a bit of high maintenance care such as cleaning all folds multiple times a day, tail pockets, monitoring skin for yeast or allergies and of course… wiping butts after potty time. At least two walks or forms of exercise a day to keep them in shape for their health and breathing issues; if you see my babies photos, they are in super shape! So caring for three I feel shows my love, responsibility, managing skills and understanding of how to properly and lovingly care for pets. For many years now, I have also cared for a variety of my family members dogs and cats, whether that involves feeding, walking/ exercise, over nights, and loving attention. About: We have owned and cared for dogs and cats for our entire lives. Friends and family joyfully leave their fur babies with us for day and overnight stays on a regular basis. We very much enjoy taking pups for walks through town, woods and the beach. We're happy to walk your dog in the environment that's best for them. We work from home as an artist and artisan and are available to provide constant monitoring and supervision for pets under our care. We generally offer services from November-May. My home has plenty of space to give your pet quiet solo time if desired. I currently have a 2.5 year old female lab mix who absolutely loves dogs and cats alike as well as a cat who really enjoys watching dogs (he has his own space on the second floor if dogs and cats need/want to be separated). We typically do a morning, afternoon and evening walk that is 1-2 miles long, but can adjust the distance and frequency to suit your pet. In addition to walks, we visit the yard frequently for play and potty breaks. We take pride in tailoring your dog's visit to individual needs. Your dog will have a room that will be their own for the duration of their stay so they can eat without interruption at their own pace (as well as sleep and hang out if they prefer solo time). If your dog desires, we also have plenty of common area space to interact with people as well as our dog.

About: I’m a young outdoors person who loves animals. Your animals needs will always be met with me. Whether it’s a younger dog who need lots of playing time and exercise, or an older pet who just needs loving, I will be perfect for the job. I’ve lived with animals in my house for my entire life. From Dobermans to Shih Tzus and turtles to fish. I have been house sitting for friends and neighbors for a while now with no issues. I’ve also done some dog training while my brother got his service dog. No matter what, your pets needs will be taken care of with me with love. I am a college student on winter break and would love to work a little bit over the break. Until January 20th, I am available 7 days a week and any times you need. The only times I will not be available is Christmas Eve/ Christmas Day. Other than that I have a very flexible schedule. I’ve got 2 older dogs (poodle and shih tzu) who are very friendly and love to play. I’ve got 2 different sized cages, small and large, for any type of dog you have. We do not have a fence in back yard but a large backyard to run around in with a leash and lovely neighborhood.

My little guy had a great vacation with her! She took him out every day to super fun places and he had the time of his life! She went above and beyond to make sure my dog was happy and felt comfortable, even hand-feeding him his food when he didn't really want to eat. We're so thankful for her and can't wait to use her again!”

“Total rock star sitter - could not recommend Kari any more highly! This was only Sadie‘s second time boarding in someone else’s home without me…I learned from my first experience that Sadie does not do great with other pets in the house… and, even though Kari’s was pet free, I was still trepidatious about trying another boarding situation in a strange (to my pup) home. My fears were immediately alleviated upon meeting and seeing Kari interact with Sadie and how she let Sadie explore around her wonderful home. Physical relief was all I felt when I left Sadie with her. Kari kept me informed each day with reports and pictures of what she and Sadie were doing, and I was never worried that Sadie was anxious or anything but completely comfortable. Seriously will make sure that Kari is available anytime I plan anything where I need to leave Sadie with someone for any reason! I think my girl had a great time and definitely was very well cared for. Cannot thank Kari and her family enough! ❤️❤️❤️”

“Would give 10 stars if I could! We needed a place for Ruby to stay for a full month. Chelsea was amazing during the entire process, she was super helpful in setting up Ruby’s stay. She was so flexible in scheduling time for us to visit Ruby during the month and great at communicating with us. Ruby LOVED staying at Chelsea’s and was actually really sad for a few days when we got home. Would absolutely book with Chelsea again, thank you so much for taking such amazing care of our girl! ??”

“Debra and her husband were outstanding!! We recently left our two dogs with them and their 5 dogs and had a stress free vacation knowing they were in such good hands. Their backyard is amazing and built for dogs. Deb kept them on the same medication and feeding schedule! Got pics while away and could tell my dogs were happy. I had time with all of their dogs prior to leaving mine with them and can attest to the fact their dogs are super dog friendly and well behaved. Our dogs came back tired and super well cared for. “David was such a great pal to my 8-month-old golden retriever, Stanley, who has the energy of a caffeinated toddler and the emotional eagerness of someone who thinks every head scratch might be their last. I got regular updates — photos of 5:30 a.m. tug-of-war, joyful dog park adventures, and one sneaky but proud toilet paper heist — which made being away for five days (our longest stretch yet!) so much easier. When I picked Stanley up, he was calm, happy, and clearly well-loved. Communication with David was smooth, direct, and quick, and he was super flexible. When Stanley saw me through the screen door at David’s place, he was wiggling with excitement — but also clearly torn to leave his new friends. I’d trust these two to hang out again anytime!”
