Cat Sitting in Wellfleet

About: I raised my blue heeler since he was a puppy in 2020, so I have training experience and am used to high-energy breeds! I took care of my previous dog as she was aging too, so I am comfortable with administering medication and senior care. I have both a dog and cat at home (Dewey and Pumpkin!) who I love and care for. I am currently a member of AmeriCorps Cape Cod. I live in Wellfleet but am usually in Harwich during business day hours. I am almost always available after 4pm and on weekends, or during my lunch break if you are close by! I unfortunately cannot have pets in my house, but I am more than happy to take care of your pet in its own home. I will spend as much time there as possible to keep your pet company and ensure bathroom breaks at least every 4 hours.

About: I’ve taken care of pets for 15 years, and dog walked, cat sat, and housesat for various friends and neighbors, as well as grown up with cats and dogs. I’m currently serving with AmeriCorps with free evenings as well as free weekends. My schedule is quite variable day to day so despite working full time can be quite accommodating! I follow house rules and will ensure that in my care your pets do to. I am comfortable crating dogs and keeping cats to allowed spaces. Additionally I know everyone has different routines and will adapt to make your pet most comfortable and follow what works for your household.

About: I have had dogs all while growing up, I absolutely adore them. I am used to being around and caring for dogs of all sizes and ages as well. I am not afraid of dogs and can comfortably handle all energy types! I have been regularly dog sitting and walking for the past 5 years so I am very comfortable in most situations. I am a recent college grad working full time currently but I would love to spend any and all of my free time with and caring for your dog :) I work Tuesday- Saturday 8am-4pm, Sunday and Monday are my days off. I will not be able to care for pets in my home. In a clients home, I would follow whatever protocols they have regarding their dog(s) and property in order to ensure satisfaction and peace of mind.

Their routine and safety is my priority I am available weekday afternoons and weekends to drop in, walk, or house-sit! At home, I was always in charge of our dog and four cats for extended periods. About: I grew up with golden retrievers but have cared for and spent time with dogs of many breeds and sizes. Building trust and showing love is the name of the game. I work part time and enjoy being active outside so there’s nothing like enjoying the outdoors walking and playing with a dog. I know how important a good long and fun walk or just a nice long visit is especially when a dog is missing his/her loved ones. Safety is my main priority and I’m always aware of other animals, obstacles and the environment. I double check everything. Your dog’s safety, comfort and happiness is my priority.

About: I grew up with dogs since I have memory. I've pet sit for my family. When I moved to Cape Cod I started helping out my coworkers with their pets taking them for walks and staying over to take care of them when they had to be away . I can be flexible when is about taking them for an hour walk, but preferably I will take bookings after 5pm I am free from my official job. Unfurnately I can't have pets in my home (landlord's rules), but i will happily take care of them in their home and follow care instructions of the owner.

About: Hi! My name is Sophia and I am a year round Truro resident. I have interned and worked with several local organizations like the Center for Coastal Studies, the Dolphin Fleet and the National Seashore. I’m a big animal lover and really enjoy going on walks exploring the fire roads and beaches with four legged company! I have several references in Ptown and Truro, and love spending time with pets of any age or size. Your pets safety and well-being is my highest priority and I have experiences sitting pets with special needs. Whatever your routine is, I’ll keep it running smoothly. If this sounds like it might be a good fit, I look forward to playing with and spending quality time with your fur baby! Sophia I am currently flexible with my schedule until May 6th. After that I will be working with the National Seashore in water quality monitoring and will mostly be available at night (after 4:30pm) during the week and flexible on weekends. I am happy to adjust to any routine you may have at your home! Most importantly, I will create a calm and safe environment for your pet.

What sets me apart is my commitment to treating every dog like my own—whether we’re going for a walk, spending the night, or just sharing a moment of calm. I currently work at a dog daycare on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, 8 AM to 5 PM, I have a lunch break from 12 PM to 2 PM, and I’m happy to do quick drop-ins or walks during that time if you’re nearby. I'm fully available on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays for dog walking, pet sitting, and overnight stays.
