“Emily was fantastic! She was communicative, kind, and took such great care of our cat. She went above and beyond to make sure we came home to a fully clean litter box, too! I'm so glad we found someone we can fully trust with our kitty. And on top of all that, she also takes great pictures! Truly so grateful for everything she did ❤️”

“I can’t say enough positive things about my experience with Caitlin. I needed a last-minute drop in as our plans had suddenly changed and I’m so happy we chose Caitlin. She was responsive, flexible, prompt, and catered to about 14 special requests. She kept us updated during her entire stay and sent ADORABLE pictures and videos. If you’re looking for a responsible, kind, dog-loving person to help you out, look no further! Our dogs LOVED her, too!”

“Karen made drop-in visits to care for my cat while I was on vacation. She came twice a day, early in the morning and again at dinnertime. She provided food, fresh water, changed the litter, and kept the areas clean. She also took away the used cans to recycle & took away the litter. The texts and photos were reassuring. I definitely recommend Karen. She was thorough and reliable.”

“Absolutely amazing! Incredible amount of attention to detail, goes way above and beyond, reports on every little thing and sends lots of great photos. I could tell she seriously cared about Chauncey and will care about each fuzzo she cares for! Couldn't be more enthusiastic in my recommending Elizabeth 💯👍💯👍”

“Stefanie has been a wonderful sitter for my boy. I would not hesitate in recommending her to anyone looking for a reliable, professional pet sitter. She is personable and prompt in her responses.”

“Sarah took excellet care of my dog, cat, and the house, sent lots of pictures and communicated often. Very much appreciated because this was our first visit with Sarah so I'm always a little nervous. Would definintely book again.”

It was a relief to know our pups were in reliable and kind hands. We will definitely be using her services again in the future. Highly recommend!!”
About: I love all kinds of fur babies! They aren't just pets; they’re family. I have had dogs of my own for 35 years and grew up around them. I have the patience for puppy care and consistency needed to help them learn life skills like house training. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine because I enjoy staying active, organized, and spending time with animals. I make time throughout the day for walks, feeding schedules, playtime, bathroom breaks, and giving pets attention and companionship. I’m able to plan my schedule around a pet’s needs to make sure they receive consistent care, exercise, and supervision. Caring for pets is something I genuinely enjoy, so I’m committed to making them feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away. I care for pets by making sure they stay on their normal routine as much as possible and receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. In a client’s home, I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, playtime, and maintaining a clean and comfortable environment. I also provide companionship so pets feel less stressed while their owners are away, and I keep owners updated with messages and photos for peace of mind.
“Sue was fantastic! Our dog Bailey, and two cats felt very comfortable with her. She even sent pictures! Excellent critter sitter! Looking forward to having her back again and would highly recommend her to others. Thanks Sue ???”

About: I have cared for pets my whole life and frequently care for friend’s pets when needed. I currently have a work from home schedule, Monday through Friday with flexible availability for pet care in between. I own my home in Yarmouth. I have a very big yard with a runner for pups that enjoy being outside. I have the ability to keep kitties indoors if preferred. Plenty of space in my home to care for pets.
“Thank you Skyla! It was great to be able to enjoy our day out knowing that the dogs were going to have a midday check in. Skyla was very communicative and jumped in to help with very little notice”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in East Dennis. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
