About: I have extensive experience working with dogs of all sizes. Growing up, my family had large dogs (90+ pounds) for almost all of my life. I have watched and pet-sat for dogs of all sizes in the past few years for neighbors and friends. I’ve recently moved back to the Massachusetts area after a travel-heavy job for the past few years, so no fur babies of my own yet! I look forward to re-exploring some of the wonderful walking trails the Cape offers with your furry friends! I’m currently working as a server part-time, so have plenty of time to play with, walk, and feed your dogs/cats. I am available for boarding or pet-sitting in your home most weeks, and for walks nearly every evening, plus morning and afternoon shifts every Tuesday and Wednesday. I have a large backyard and walking trails within a 10-minute walk from my house, perfect for leashed adventures! I do not have any pets in the house full-time, but may have my parent’s well-trained and friendly rescue in the house on occasional weekends.

I have handled pets with limited access to or from parts of homes before. My dog has walked on both a harness and a collar, so I have experience with both. Please leave a harness is clear view of that’s your preference. Crating is not something I do with my pets, but I am aware of how to if that’s something you’d like. I interned with an interior designer, so I am aware of home etiquette! My baseline is taking shoes off at the door, sticking to main areas (kitchen, living room, yard), not accepting or eating food, drinking from my own water bottle, and I’ll typically use the bathroom in my own home before I go to a client’s unless it’s an emergency. If any of that is different in your home or you want clarification I can absolutely do that, just let me know ahead of time! And I will NEVER give out an address, security code, or key location.

About: I have taken care of dogs my entire life. My family has always had multiple dogs in our home and a house isn’t a home without a dog. For years I have cared for friends and family dogs while they were either at work or vacation. Now that I am retired I have a lot more time to give helping others who need support to care for their dog. I am available all hours of the day and night. I can pick up dogs or they can be brought to my home. I am semi retired and this allows me lots of flexibility in my schedule. I have a fenced in yard that backs up to conservation land that I use to exercise my own dogs. If allowed by owner, walks on the beach at low tide is a favorite activity for our dogs. During the summers I walk the many trails this area has to offer, many with ponds the dogs love to swim in.

About: I have take care of animals for over 2 decades. Pups are my favorite and I also have chickens and volunteers with horses on a local farm. I respect nature and appreciate what great companions animals are for us humans. I treat them as family members. I had 3 dogs from puppies to their senior age and understand all stages of dog lives. I can play, socialize, train puppies. Walk fast pace with athletic dogs or slow down for littles or seniors. I can give medicine and keep an eye on health any conditions. I have 10yo son who is a huge dog lover and helps out with our dog and chickens and also does barn chores at the farm. I feel so blessed we both feel the same love for all creatures on Earth. I currently work from home, so your pup(s) will have a companion most of the time. I also go on 2-3 walks a day and we have a nice private yard for additional play and relax. We have a private yard, one friendly 2yo Boston terrier who has proven to be more than a gracious host to all sorts of furry visitors. He naturally accepts their energy if they want to play or are shy and need time. We also had some rescues and traumatized pets and Gizmo proved to a respectful companion. He is the reason I love pups and want them to have the most fantastic time in our home.

“We left our two dogs with Caitlin, one of which is a fairly new and nervous new rescue. They both did great! Caitlin stayed in touch and sent pictures and they came home happily tired having had a great time. Caitlin wax also wonderfully flexible as our return time changed due to unexpected delays. “I had to leave my very attached golden doodle overnight for the first time over the weekend when my sister was getting married. Julie offered to do a meet and greet a week ahead of time and immediately put my mind at ease! She is very welcoming ..even comfortable with my dog’s weird quirks (like trying to eat socks eek). It was great that she had a few dogs at once so they could play all day together as well. My dog had a great time and I didn’t have to worry at all while I was with my sister during such an important weekend. I highly recommend Julie. After our first meeting, I knew that I had made the best choice for Wally and for me. Debra always takes the time for a meet and greet prior to drop off so that our boy had the opportunity to meet her and her dogs, who are all very well behaved and welcoming. You can tell that Debra loves working with dogs and takes her responsibility very seriously. She has a lovely large home and huge fenced in back yard that the dogs can access via a dog door. Debra had great communication and was flexible with drop off and pickup times. She kept me updated with some photos so that I could relax and enjoy my sons wedding.
