Doggy Day Care in Orleans

About: I have take care of animals for over 2 decades. Pups are my favorite and I also have chickens and volunteers with horses on a local farm. I respect nature and appreciate what great companions animals are for us humans. I treat them as family members. I had 3 dogs from puppies to their senior age and understand all stages of dog lives. I can play, socialize, train puppies. Walk fast pace with athletic dogs or slow down for littles or seniors. I can give medicine and keep an eye on health any conditions. I have 10yo son who is a huge dog lover and helps out with our dog and chickens and also does barn chores at the farm. I feel so blessed we both feel the same love for all creatures on Earth. I currently work from home, so your pup(s) will have a companion most of the time. I also go on 2-3 walks a day and we have a nice private yard for additional play and relax. We have a private yard, one friendly 2yo Boston terrier who has proven to be more than a gracious host to all sorts of furry visitors. He naturally accepts their energy if they want to play or are shy and need time. We also had some rescues and traumatized pets and Gizmo proved to a respectful companion. He is the reason I love pups and want them to have the most fantastic time in our home.

About: Hello, I'm Marjorie! Dogs have always been a part of my family. I'm one of those annoying people on the street who just HAS to say hi to your dog when you're trying to mind your own business and walk them. They are so special, sweet and they truly make our lives better. In the past, I have worked as a full-time dog walker. I have owned dogs my whole life and currently have two dogs. Tessie, an 8 year old Cattle Dog Mix and Norman, a 5 year old yellow lab. While they are best friends, they're always open to making new ones! We love hikes, swimming and fetch. Depending on your location and your pups preferences, I could take your pup for a leashed walk out your front door or drive to a wooded trail or beach for more adventure. I could bring one or both my dogs for playtime or socialization if you request, or leave them behind! I also have a fenced in yard where they could come hang out for a couple hours, like a play date if you wanted more than just a walk/short visit. I'm flexible to fit your pups needs. I absolutely adore dogs and they deserve to have the best day, every day. I am a full time Firefighter/EMT. My schedule does rotate but generally I have flexible availability throughout the week on days I am not working. I have a fenced in yard and two pups of my own who are friendly and always want to make new friends. While I do allow dogs on my furniture and bed, if you have different rules at home and prefer they abide by them, I will respect that.

About: I have experience looking out for dogs for extended and short stays and have taken care of dogs young and old, and big and small I work from home and will provide the best care possible for your dogs. I work 10:30-7:00 and will generally go on walks before work, during lunch, and again after work. I live in an apartment complex with lots to explore on walks and a private dog park. I don’t have a dog of my own anymore and only take one dog with no other dogs - unless the dogs in your family are more than one - the more the merrier in that case I’m in! I know many dogs do not get along with other dogs which is normal for many dogs, no worries I get it! My flexibility gives me plenty of time to care for pets, in your home, in mine, or just for a walk. I take my dogs for a daily run to on the beach and am happy to take along another. I can also care for your dog alone in your home (and leave mine home with my amazing family). Finally, I am available for walking your pup, most days in your neighborhood or mine. We have an acre of land and half is fenced in for dogs. We have extra cages if desired. Ours never enjoyed their crates. We will follow your schedule and treat your pet like a member of the family.
