“Michele is a wonderful! She did a thoughtful and thorough intake with my dog Rylie, who is older, hard of hearing and requires daily insulin injections. She sent daily updates with pictures of their “adventures” during her stay. You can tell she truly enjoys dogs and loves spending time with them. Highly recommend!”

“Caitlin was AMAZING! My dog Fenway was having a blast-I could tell from the cute pictures and videos she shared. He will definitely be going back for future stays!”

“Karen is an easy, caring dog mother who is lively and helpful. I heard from her everyday when I was away and always felt that Scout would be well cared for—and happy with other dogs.”

“Phoebe loved Andrea & Bob from the moment she met them! She made herself completely at home right from the start. We received plenty of updates and photos throughout her stay and could see how happy and well cared for she was. We've already tried to schedule another date with them!”

“Julie was absolutely amazing! This was our first time leaving our pup, and Julie sent multiple daily updates, and was so welcoming, caring and kind. I HIGHLY recommend Julie and we will be booking with her (and her wonderful dog Ellie) again.”

“Chelsea was great! She was flexible and able to handle our (multiple) time changes as we navigated traffic down into Cape Cod. She was always quick to respond and easy to communicate with, and sent pictures every morning. Most importantly, our dogs were calm and happy when we came to pick them up. Would definitely leave my pup with Chelsea again.”

“Both of my elderly dogs love staying with Uncle Stephen! We get photos showing how much fun they are having as well as them enjoying the multiple beds/ sofas/ etc. Highly recommend!”

“Caitlin is a reliable Dog Sitter for my dog, Sara. She communicates, she’s timely, she provides good feedback and sends pictures. I trust Caitlin every time. She’s become our regular dog sitter when we go to the Cape.”

“I have nothing but great things to say about Harriet. She was so welcoming and took such great care of our pup. Her property is incredible. The perfect place for any dog to get some R&R. Her dogs are super friendly and playful too. It's like a little doggy summer camp. Our pup didn't want to leave, so I'm sure we will be bringing her back to stay with Harriet next time we are on the Cape.”

“Madaket welcomed our dog (cavapoo) in and everything went extremely smoothly. She kept him as her own and we had a happy dog waiting for us after at the end of a week's vacation. Communication was very easy and we enjoyed some pics occasionally. No negative comments, I recommend Madaket for taking care of your dog!”

“Marcia did an excellent job taking care of Tuka! I could tell he was very comfortable with her and her family both when I left him and picked him up. Loved all the pictures she sent! We will definitely use her again!”

“Harley had an amazing time with Melissa and Kellie and their pup! Hosts were so flexible, easy to communicate with, and clearly love fur friends. We can’t wait to use them again”

“Kari and her family took such great care of our dog, Bogey. Very proactive in communication and I felt completely at ease during my time away from my dog. I wouldn’t hesitate to trust them again with Bogey.”

“Kellie could not be kinder. She was fantastic with taking our new puppy to us as well as our 6 year old. Kellie sent pictures and kept me informed about the dogs. Kellie's home is beautiful clean and the fenced backyard is a fantastic bonus for the little one to run around. Truly such ease of mind to have them there with her and her husband.”

“Cindi was absolutely wonderful in caring for our dog Benny. We got daily updates and pictures letting us know how he was doing. The meet and greet was really thorough and made us feel like Benny would be at a home away from home while we were out of town. I would absolutely recommend Cindi to anyone looking for a wonderful pet sitter for their pup!”

“Alyne is my go-to for my 3yo lab who loves to roam around her fenced-in yard and get cozy at night with other dogs. Alyne is totally a dog whisperer; my high-energy, still-very-puppy girl comes home very relaxed after a stay.”

“Jenny took care of Ace within last minute need. She was amazing. Ace liked her from the moment he met her. She kept me in the loop about how Ace is doing and send pictures Proffesional and kind. Thanks Jenny See you in the summer.”

“Christian was absolutely fantastic taking care of Aspen! We were away in France and had no worries about our pet because we were constantly updated with messages, photos, and check ins about Aspen's status. This is very reassuring as an owner. I have bookmarked Christian's name on Rover for our next vacation!”

“I’m so happy we found Karen, she takes such amazing care of our Goldie and sends us lots of updates. It definitely calms our anxiety (which is high!!) when we have to leave her! It’s also such a relief that Goldie has Juni to hang out with, such a sweet girl.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Orleans
Zuzana was great! We had to leave town on a short notice and found Zuzana on Rover, contacted her and she responded with in the hour. Our dog is 13, deaf and likes to sleep with her people. Zuzana was unfazed by any of this. We did a meet and greet in her home and I could see Pepper was instantly a fan, walking thru her home tail wagging. Zuzana kept us updated with videos and pics ensuring us that Pepper was settled and happy. I will not hesitate to leave Pepper with Zuzana again nor hesitate to recommend Zuzana to another. Thank you Zuzana!

We are so happy we found Jorie! Our family loves vacationing on the Cape and bringing our dogs along. Unfortunately, our largest puppy, Beau (16m Bernese) still needs a little extra attention before he can join us on the beach. Jorie was incredibly accommodating, giving us peace of mind while we went about enjoying the beach and shopping. Beau absolutely loved her—he would run straight to her when we arrived! Thank you again, Jorie, for taking such great care of our Beau.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
