About: Hello! My names Marisa, i was born and raised on Cape Cod. I have about 5 years experience in pet-sitting, from in home care for kitties and daily visits to run larger breed dogs to working in fancy overnight dog hotels. I have been a doggy momma to mostly smaller more energetic breeds but in 2021 adopted a large pitty mix from a shelter and absolutely fell in love. Since i lost him two years ago i have been looking for any reason to be outside with a furry friend. I'm currently available for overnights and daily visits whether it be a quick walk, a run around the block or a ride to a local park or beach to play with the neighborhood pups. I can provide recent and local references for both dog and cat sitting as well as from my past vets. I am self-employed doing hvac mini split cleanings around the Cape. Im able to book petsitting and the hvac business around each other easily, especially throughtout the fall and winter. As someone that used to work 15 hour days and still do my very best to get a few good walks in for my boy, i totally understand the guilt that comes with a long day of being away from your pet, whether that be for work, travel, or just a full day or errands, and i love the idea of helping other pet parents avoid that feeling. I have experience handling XL and special needs canines. My now passed on pitbull had Central Vestibular Disease, leaving him with fairly regular seizures and extremely poor balance. He needed help going to the bathroom, required constant attention on walks and was sensitive to certain social situations. I loved caring for him and fully intend on searching for another special needs dog when im ready to adopt again.

About: I have house sat for friends with dogs, including overnight stays. I am experienced with senior dogs; primarily walking, visiting and handling adult dogs. I am comfortable with younger dogs as well. I thoroughly enjoy interacting with dogs and miss my time with our yellow lab that was part of the family for 13 years. I am currently retired from corporate America after a 40 - year career in commercial banking. I love being outside and "moving". As an aside I have done the Pan Mass Challenge for 15 years. I do not intend to care for dogs in my home. My services will be at the owner's residence and neighborhood. I intend to learn about the owner’s wishes and dog’s habits, and be attentive to the personality of the dog.

About: I am a very active 49 year old mom with adult children and two small dogs. I grew up with animals my whole life, and my family even owned a chain of pet stores when I was growing up, where I worked. My family is packed with doctors and vets. I move to the Cape full time and am available to walk dogs, house sit, and board small to medium sized animals in my home in Orleans. We have a fenced in backyard and lots of space to run on the beach. I work remotely, part-time as an attorney and set my own schedule. My true love is animals! My flexibility gives me plenty of time to care for pets, in your home, in mine, or just for a walk. I take my dogs for a daily run to on the beach and am happy to take along another. I can also care for your dog alone in your home (and leave mine home with my amazing family). Finally, I am available for walking your pup, most days in your neighborhood or mine. We have an acre of land and half is fenced in for dogs. We have extra cages if desired. Ours never enjoyed their crates. We will follow your schedule and treat your pet like a member of the family. We invite interviews in advance to ensure we are the right fit for your pet.
