They kept us updated throughout her stay with thoughtful messages and adorable photos, which gave us so much peace of mind knowing she was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. It's clear that Andrea and Bob genuinely love animals and treat them like family. Zoey came home happy, relaxed, and clearly enjoyed her time with them. Julie's calm and loving demeanor as well as her beautiful and inviting home convinced me my dog would be in good care. And she was. Having another client's puppy to run around with was a bonus! Thank you, Julie!”

Gus seemed like he wanted to stay when I picked him up, which I thought was a good sign that he loved her and her family.”

“Harriet was an amazing sitter! She made sure to send me plenty of pictures while I was away and Fiona looked happy and chilled in all of them. It was also a great experience for Fiona because she got to know all the animals in the farm and she got along with them too. I didn’t know if she was good with cats and she is! I’m very happy and grateful with how loving and caring Harriet was with Fiona and I’m definitely booking another stay with her in the future.”
“Sara took such great care of my Norma the 4 nights we were on the Cape for vacation! Norma is an anxious girl and Sara was able to quickly attune to her and help her feel right at ease (Norma usually barks when she meets new people; she didn’t bark at all upon meeting Sara and warmed to her very quickly!). I will definitely have Norma stay with Sara the next time I’m on the Cape! Would highly recommend Sara to anyone looking for great dog care!”

About: I’m a lifetime animal lover, and get along terrifically well with dogs. My house is the go-to for friends and family needing a place for their pups to stay. I am retired with volunteer jobs part-time (2mornings), during the week. I’m never away from home for more than a few hours during which time my dog-friendly feline can either ignore your dog or keep them company. Im home the majority of the time. Cozy corner in my den for bed. Seems to be everyone’s favorite hangout. Living room has multiple Sunny-spots Several neighborhood walks a day and if dog and owner are willing, I go to Thompson’s field in Harwich where they can romp.
“Alyne is a very chill individual and undoubtedly a dog person. The minute my 3-yr-old Lab got out of the car, she ran straight to her. And, while my dog is friendly like many retrievers, she's usually pretty cautious w strangers. Also, her large, completely fenced-in yard was perfect for my dog, whose strong preference is to be outside. I will definitely re-book.”

“Christian was absolutely fantastic taking care of Aspen! We were away in France and had no worries about our pet because we were constantly updated with messages, photos, and check ins about Aspen's status. This is very reassuring as an owner. I have bookmarked Christian's name on Rover for our next vacation!”

“Marcia was wonderful; they made my pup feel like a member of the family! I got lots of updates so I didn't have to worry while I was away for work. Cane was having so much fun that I wasn't sure he'd want to come home!”

“Highly recommend Jennifer and Stephen to take care of your furbaby! It is a doggie heaven at their house with lounging spots galore. Sunny spot? Check. Soft like a cloud? Check. In front of a fireplace? Yep. I'd vote them the Outer Cape's best Dog B&B!”

“This is my second time having Taylor watch my dog, Pepper and I couldn’t ask for more! She is one of very few people that I really don’t worry about Pepper at all while I’m away.”

I currently have a 14 year old cat, Anya, who has IBD and gets various medications throughout the day, so I am comfortable with shots and oral medication. I have also been cat sitting for neighbors for several years. I love building relationships with the cats, earning their trust, and sending glamor shots to their people!
“Christian did a fantastic job taking care of our 14 year old cat, Ludde. Ludde is on medicated diet and had just arrived back to the Cape after some long air plane rides. I was worried leaving him, but Christian put me at ease right away, took great care of Ludde and sent us plenty of photos and pictures. It was a relief to find such a competent and caring pet sitter.”

“Laurie clearly has a love for animals. She made contact every day with pictures. She let us know about an issue with heating. The cat boxes and floor areas were clean when we returned. Food and water were left according to instructions. We would happily hire Laurie again to care for our two cats.”

“Skyla did great with our three cats. Typically our cat Hades can be shy around new people. However, he walked up to Skyla right away. She made our cats feel very comfortable and safe. She also sent pictures so we could see how they were doing.”

I respect nature and appreciate what great companions animals are for us humans. I treat them as family members. I had 3 dogs from puppies to their senior age and understand all stages of dog lives. I can play, socialize, train puppies. Walk fast pace with athletic dogs or slow down for littles or seniors. I can give medicine and keep an eye on health any conditions. I currently work from home, so your pup(s) will have a companion most of the time. I also go on 2-3 walks a day and we have a nice private yard for additional play and relax. We have a private yard, one friendly 2yo Boston terrier who has proven to be more than a gracious host to all sorts of furry visitors. He naturally accepts their energy if they want to play or are shy and need time. We also had some rescues and traumatized pets and Gizmo proved to a respectful companion. He is the reason I love pups and want them to have the most fantastic time in our home.
“Karen is fantastic! From the moment she met us and our anxious pup, Ernie, we knew that he was in great care. We so appreciated her communications pre-arrival and the video and picture updates provided during his daycare stay. Ernie was happy and certainly slept well after pickup, just as Karen said he would :) We highly recommend and will definitely book again!”

“I was traveling to the Cape to a Family Birthday Party all the way from Maine. My new Puppy, Chloe, has separation anxiety so I didn't want to board her for the 2 days I was going to be away. Someone reccomended ROVER and it worked out PERFECTLY for me. I only had to have a sitter for about 3 hours and Caitlin S. was happy to spend the time making my Chloe feel special. Caitlin S. sent me several pics throughout the evening on how well Chloe was fitting in with her new friends <3 Thank You Caitlin S.”

“It was the first time we left our dog with a sitter and we couldn't be more pleased! Andrea and Bob took the time to get to know our Buddy before the first visit which was very comforting. And we loved the updates we received throughout the day. Looking forward to booking with them again!”

“Chelsea watched our miniature schnauzer mix for a day and she was absolutely wonderful with him. She was very responsive and flexible, and made the whole process so easy. When we went to pick up our pup, he looked so content just sitting in her arms, and he NEVER sits still. We will call upon Chelsea again in the future, no hesitation!”

“We had a fantastic experience with Cindi through Rover while vacationing in Cape Cod. From the very beginning, she went above and beyond to make Finnegan feel comfortable and loved. She arranged a meet and greet a few days before the drop-off, during which she asked thoughtful questions and took notes on Finnegan’s preferences, showing her genuine care and attention to detail. Despite the less-than-ideal weather, Cindi took Finnegan on multiple walks, demonstrating her dedication and love for dogs. Throughout his stay, she kept us wonderfully updated with photos and messages, which gave us peace of mind and made us feel connected even from afar. When it was time to pick him up, Finnegan ran right to her door like he owned the place a clear sign of how happy and comfortable he was with her. We will definitely be using Cindi again and highly recommend her to other dog owners looking for a caring, attentive, and reliable sitter.”

About: We have owned and cared for dogs and cats for our entire lives. Friends and family joyfully leave their fur babies with us for day and overnight stays on a regular basis. We very much enjoy taking pups for walks through town, woods and the beach. We're happy to walk your dog in the environment that's best for them. We work from home as an artist and artisan and are available to provide constant monitoring and supervision for pets under our care. We generally offer services from November-May. My home has plenty of space to give your pet quiet solo time if desired. I currently have a 2.5 year old female lab mix who absolutely loves dogs and cats alike as well as a cat who really enjoys watching dogs (he has his own space on the second floor if dogs and cats need/want to be separated). We typically do a morning, afternoon and evening walk that is 1-2 miles long, but can adjust the distance and frequency to suit your pet. In addition to walks, we visit the yard frequently for play and potty breaks. We take pride in tailoring your dog's visit to individual needs. Your dog will have a room that will be their own for the duration of their stay so they can eat without interruption at their own pace (as well as sleep and hang out if they prefer solo time). If your dog desires, we also have plenty of common area space to interact with people as well as our dog.

“Jennifer was a LIFESAVER for us during our recent trip to Chatham! We needed some help while we took a trip into Boston and Jennifer made sure our almost 3 year old lab was walked, fed and loved during our time away. Excellent communication, even stopped by the day prior for a meet and greet and went above and beyond with care and patience with our girl. It was a beyond hot day and Jennifer came to our home twice to get our pup out walking then even cooling down with ice cube treats! We had a great day at Fenway knowing our girl was in good hands. Would use again in a heartbeat! Cannot say enough good things and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!”

“Jenny took care of Ace within last minute need. She was amazing. Ace liked her from the moment he met her. She kept me in the loop about how Ace is doing and send pictures Proffesional and kind. Thanks Jenny See you in the summer.”
