Kari was wonderful with Hazel. I could tell Hazel adjusted well and enjoyed her time with Kari and her family by the photos and updates Kari provided along the way. I would leave Hazel with Kari again knowing that she would be well cared for.

Marcia was wonderful; they made my pup feel like a member of the family! I got lots of updates so I didn't have to worry while I was away for work. Cane was having so much fun that I wasn't sure he'd want to come home!

Maria treated my pups as members of the family! They received lots of attention. She has dedicated her outdoor space for her furry visitors. My dogs were very excited to free roam and explore all the plants, trees and hidden places in her well maintained and fenced areas.

Jacqueline was wonderful with both of our dogs! She treated them like family, sent pics and videos and provided great care. Not having to worry about our fur babies made our trip even better. Her home is super dog friendly including a safe and spacious fenced in yard. I recommend Jacqueline and plan on using her dog hospitality and for my dogs again in the future. Superb!

Marc was wonderful with our two dogs, Teddy and Sadie! He cared for them for 4 nights and kept us updated throughout their stay and provided photos every day. He even took it upon himself to brush them out, which was much appreciated! Very nice, quiet neighborhood for the perfect relaxing stay. I highly recommend Marc!

About: I have spent my entire life around dogs, but my professional experience sets me apart when it comes to reading and handling animals. For almost 3 years I worked as a Pet Care Specialist. I was responsible for the specialized daily care, behavioral monitoring, and medical treatment of all sorts of animals; birds, reptiles, small mammals, fish, etc. I am experienced and comfortable administering medication and recognizing signs of illness, in the case that you have a dog with specialized needs. Today, I work professionally as a dog groomer. Every day I work hands on with dogs of all sizes ages, and temperaments. Because of this, I have the experience and patience necessary to deal with anxiety prone dogs, high energy balls of chaos, puppies who haven't yet learned manners, and senior dogs who need gentle care. I'm confident I can meet your dogs needs, whatever they may be, and ensure their stay with me is as comfortable as possible. I'm also happy to provide my available grooming services if that's of any interest to you! I work 8 hour shifts at the grooming salon, and I am free on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, which gives me full, dedicated days to spend at home with your dog(s). For the days I am at work, a responsible family member will always be available at the house, to assist with potty breaks or just to hang out. Your pup will only ever be alone if they want to be. This allows me to provide boarding any day of the week! My home is fully equipped to be a safe, fun, and adaptable "home away from home" for your dog. Here is what you can expect during their stay: Secure & Spacious Play: We have a large, fenced backyard where your dog can safely run and play. We are located in a lovely, quiet neighborhood right next door to a large recreational field/park with a walking trail. For more adventurous pups, we also have excellent wooded trails nearby as well. Socialization & Companionship: My family will be more than happy to provide extra human interaction throughout the day if your dog is seeking it. We also have 2 friendly resident dogs (a gentle, senior Shih Tzu who mostly minds her own business, and a social English Pointer who will be happy to make new friends) and 2 cats who are well accustomed to dogs, but will mostly keep to themselves. Separation When Needed: While socialization is great, it's not for everyone. If your dog is anxious, or just feeling overwhelmed, I have my own private, dedicated space where they can get away from all the hubbub of the household, and enjoy some downtime. I am also fully able to accommodate crate-trained dogs if that's something they prefer. They are also more than welcome to share my furniture if they're more of a lap-dog type! As a professional pet handler, I promise to stay aware of your dog's body language and ensure they're recieving the best care possible. Their safety and peace of mind are my top priority.

I’m guilty of being a helicopter Mom. My dog is very attached to me and spoiled! Needless to say I was overly worried leaving Finn for 5 nights. Steve was amazing putting me to ease. He sent pictures and videos that clearly showed Finn both happy and comfortable. Finn will be a repeat customer:)

First time having our dog boarded at someone’s home. Caitlin was great at putting my mind at ease. She was flexible with pick up and drop off times. We were staying with family locally and she was accommodating with having me pick up my pup for walks during the day. She sent many pictures and videos which was comforting.

I'm so appreciative Karen was able to take a last minute booking during the week we were vacationing on the Cape. We spent the day out and I didn't have to worry about leaving my dog alone. She was very responsive, great communication and sent cute pictures of Mackie while he was with her. Thanks so much!

  • Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in MA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
