About: I’ve taken care of my neighbor’s senior dogs for the past 5 years and have raised a puppy and a kitten of my own. I love all animals and have taken care of reptiles, 7 cats at once, birds, fish, bugs, and plants! I’m here to ensure that your space is just as you left it and your pet is happy. Also, I love to take silly pictures of your pet and will happily send them to you. I’m a full time college student that also works part time. I’m a multi-tasker by nature, so it’s likely I will be listening to lectures while I play fetch with your pet’s favorite toy. You will never be worried that your dog is lonely because I will stay and hang. My schedule is different every day, but consistent weekly. I’ve had my lizard Hazel since 8th grade (a long time). To keep a lizard that long takes a certain amount of consistency and respect for animals that I’ve seen others struggle with. I will be diligent in ensuring that your pet is healthy and happy in your home.

About: I’ve done a lot of dog sitting in Boston and for friends and family over the years, and I genuinely love it. I didn't have pets of my own as a kid, but always loved being around dogs. I’m comfortable with all kinds of dogs — big, small, high-energy, or total couch potatoes. I stick to their usual routines, make sure they get plenty of walks, playtime, and attention, and just try to keep things as normal and stress-free as possible while their owners are away. Lots of updates, lots of love, and happy pups are always the goal. Expect many photos and selfies. I work in a nursing home, and love bring pets along with me to visit the residents if approved by the owner! I work a typical Monday-Friday 8-5pm and have about an hour commute. I am available for evenings or early morning walks, as well as weekend/overnight boarding or house sitting. I live in an apartment in Charlestown with a fenced in back yard. Pets are allowed. I live with two family members with a lot of pet experience who also support boarding pets. I am happy to stay in someone's home if needed.

My goal for your higher need dog is always ensuring they feel safe and comfortable, especially if that means taking 30+ minutes because they showed that they needed more time. I have handled dogs of all sizes and all kinds of behaviors so nothing is too big or small, too shy or excitable for me. I'm currently a college student who's simply looking to work on my own schedule that a typical job can't provide currently! Being able to walk or hang out with your pet while listening to my required readings or otherwise studying sounds like a perfect fit for me! As a pet parent, I fully understand how nerve wracking it can be to trust someone else with your pet. That's why transparency is my biggest priority, through text and photo check ins so you don't have my word for it but visual evidence of what we're doing. For daycare at my home, I have my own 7 month old puppy and plenty of nearby parks to walk around in that I would love to take both our pups on! For care at your home, whether you're in an apartment or have your own backyard, walks and sniffaris are an essential part of me caring for them! Its not just about the exercise but the mental enrichment as well!
