I’ve had pets since I was little and was actually around farm animals as well. In our home we’ve had cats, dogs, fish, birds, reptiles, and hermit crabs. I volunteer for the Austin Wildlife Rescue so I have experience caring for wildlife. I’m very active and sporty so long walks or park trips are always up my alley. I also love playing indoors with pets and providing cuddles. Each animal has their own personality and I love getting a chance to connect with them. I would have a conversation with the pet owners and learn the lay of the land. I’m very respectful of each person and pet’s home so I would follow their guidance. I go in and do what I have to do, clean up what is necessary and ensure the environment is good for the pet. I would also be mindful to water plants if necessary and report anything that seems out of place.

Denise was great! She asked lots of questions and made sure she knew about our dog, Evie’s routine before we left. She sent daily updates and lots of photos. When we got home, our house was clean and Evie was very happy. I would definitely book Denise again!
Denise was great! She did housesitting while I went on a trip. She was very flexible to make the schedules work and she always communicated effectively. When I came home, everything was in order and, most importantly, my dog Squash was so calm. Definitely better than leaving her at boarding. Super grateful for Denise’s help these days!
Denise is an extremely warm, motivated, and responsible person. She is very detail oriented, trustworthy, and reliable. She’s great with all animals-I highly recommend her if you’re looking for someone to pet sit!
