Availability
I currently work at a veterinary clinic 4-5 days a week, and my schedule can change frequently. On days that I work, I will usually leave the house around 7:30am, then return during a lunch break somewhere between 12-2pm, and I am back between 6-6:30 PM.

Safety, trust & environment
I try to keep the pet’s routine as close to normal as possible, though there may be some small adjustments. Sometimes this means having breakfast earlier than usual or dinner a little later. Depending on the time between making the booking and the start of the sitting, I can generally make accommodations in my work schedule if needed.
Information Jillian L. would like to know about your pet
Does your dog have any specific dietary instructions or allergies? Does your dog have any history of reactive behavior, and if so, in what circumstances? What restrictions or boundaries do you set for your dogs? What games or toys does your dog enjoy? Are there areas or items to avoid?
A typical day
We will probably watch some TV. If your dogs enjoy walks, I always like to explore new neighborhoods. For multi-dog households, I prefer to walk only one dog at a time until I am familiar enough with the neighborhood and the dogs.

Pet care experience
I have been a “dog person” all my life. Whether it’s a tiny house dog, a mastiff, a herding breed, whatever - I love dogs. In 2001, I started practicing behavioral work and basic obedience training with my own rescue dogs. What an accomplishment I felt when the under-worked cattle dog who started me on that journey was on an agility field with 15 other dogs, and he was only looking at me! I have worked as a veterinary assistant since 2010, and began pet sitting soon after that. I know the importance of punctuality and reliability when it comes to animals, particularly the older ones or those needing regular medications. I am comfortable administering medications to cooperative pets as needed, including injections, and can be available early and late hours.
Reviews

Jillian is absolutely amazing! She sends us pictures and our two boxers everytime we go out of town. They are like our kids and I know when Jillian is watching them, they are in good hands. When we come home they seem so relaxed. She leaves the house in perfect condition. I would recommend her to everyone! This is coming from someone who will never board or let just anyone watch them.

Always feel safe leaving Daisy in Jillian’s care!

Never have any reservations about leaving our needy dog with Jillian - Bailey loves her!

Jillian was fantastic! She followed instructions to a T and after an 8 day trip I came back to happy healthy pups and a very tidy house. Great communication and she was very helpfully flexible when I needed to extend my trip after booking. Would definitely recommend.
