About: I may not have professional experience caring for animals, but I’ve always felt a deep connection with them. Whenever I’m around dogs, I feel an instant bond—like we’ve known each other for years. Animals seem to naturally gravitate toward me, and I think they can sense how much I care. About: I have been lucky enough to grow up in a house full of animals, and all of my favorite childhood memories center around them! We have rescued dogs, the occasional cat, and even cared for horses and competed in a few horse shows! When I was about 10 years old we rescued a pregnant dog. I remember so vividly her having her 2 puppies, unfortunately only one survived. That puppy was my best friend for the last 20 years. She was there for my high school graduation, college graduation, my wedding, and a cross country move. All of that is just to say I know how big of a role pets play in our lives, and how much love and friendship they provide us and they deserve in return! I am not a certified trainer, but would have no problem working with your pets on basic commands during walks or play dates. I am a pretty flexible person and would love to help out where I can, please feel free to ask any questions! I currently work 1-2 nights per week, and I can easily do walks or play dates around that schedule. I am a very flexible and understanding person, if you would like to schedule something specific or have questions feel free to reach out to me and we can see about working it out! I know all dogs have their own personality and may be nervous or scared around new people. Whether we are doing walks, play dates, or both I like to allow some extra time to get to know each other. If it is ok I can bring different toys and treats (some different treats I use with my dogs or if you have specific treats to provide) and then move forward at the pet’s own speed.

Reviews from her old profile are attached in our photos. Irene is new to rover but loves working with animals! She has done casual pet sitting and is excited to expand to the rover platform. Together, we are a great team who are eager to meet your pets! Since there are 2 of us, your pets will get twice the love 💕. We are both experienced with puppies and kittens, as well as senior animals, and are both able to administer medications. We look forward to meeting your animals! Sophia currently works as a ABA Therapist but has availability between appointments to care for your pets. Irene is currently a volunteer for the lake washington schools foundation, and has a flexible schedule to care for your babies. Being timely is very important to us, so we will do our very best to adhere to your set schedule. We promise to treat your home respectfully and your animals like they are our own! We know how hard it is to leave your babies in the care of strangers, but we do everything we can to make sure your babies are happy and comfy. We also send TONS of photos :).

About: I have been taking care of dogs for the last 9 years and have 2 dogs of my own who I have raised since they were 8 weeks old. They are currently 7 years old and 7 months old giving experience with all ages and extreme patience after months of raising the puppy. I work from home and my dogs get a great level of attention as a result of this. I am always available and able to provide frequent walks and stimulation. For local clients I can be available in a pinch due to my flexible work schedule. I have two dogs and can take dogs who do well with other dogs. Assuming they all get along they would get the same treatment as my own dogs. Plenty of walks, at least one long walk a day, lots of play time, and a consistent schedule. House sitting will include regular visits along with extended time spent with your pet during the work day as well. I am always available for walking appointments with my flexible schedule.

About: I have recently lost our own beloved pets - instead of adding to the family I'd like to help others. I have have had cats, dogs and sugar gliders. (Yes, you read that correctly!). I'm recently retired and looking for ways to help others now that i have a bit more free time. I've had puppies to elderly pets, I love going to walks (especially in the woods, rain or shine). I think the only thing i wouldn't want to interact with are snakes or spiders! :) I am recently retired and I have plenty of time. I do like to travel so a good weeks notice would be nice but understand when emergencies arise. i prefer to watch animals at their own homes - I think it's less stressful on the pet to be in their own familiar space. I love walking around the neighborhoods and also going to Bridal Trails for the mile loop -

About: From growing up with two very different dogs, to constantly having cats throughout my life, i am extremely well versed in what it takes to take care of the most important family members. I grew up around bigger dogs, and have raised a couple puppies as well, I know how to keep a dog on track for training and even teach them new skills. as a kid I watched all my neighbors pets as well this included dogs, snakes, cats, fish, and even flying squirrels, so i definitely can handle any pet that needs some love. I also have two adopted cats over the last 5 years, one of which has special needs, so if your animal needs a little more help than most I am well versed in giving medications handling the more difficult furry babies. I am a newly graduated college student, since graduation i have been traveling, but now that summer is coming to an end I'm back on the East side almost full time. Im currently applying for part time positions at various companies, but while i wait to figure out what my full time job will beI would love to watch all the pets I can. Im available almost every day of the week starting around 10am. I am usually spending a lot of my time outside, so i'm always down to take your dog with me on a walk or hike. In my experience with pet sitting, I usually come over multiple times a day to feed and let out the dogs, and prepare wet/ raw food for the cats. depending on what the animals behavior is, Im always down to take a dog on a walk or trow the ball in a local park. if you have energetic cats i will play with them until they are tired, but I'm also good at reading cats and can usually tell when they are done playing, or don't want to be bothered. I also change doggie pads and clean litter boxes when i notice that those chores need to be done.

About: As a pet owner myself I know how important it is to feel confident that your sitter will provide excellent care for your best friend(s) while you’re away. I love being able to provide owners peace of mind, and will send daily updates and pictures! For in home dog boarding: I have a miniature schnauzer who gets along with all other dogs! He is always thrilled to have a buddy to join us on walks and outings. If your dog does not get along with others or has special needs, it is possible to keep them separate but please let me know prior to booking. I enjoy taking the dogs for walks or runs in Bridle Trails state park or heading to the off leash dog park! I frequent Jaspers dog park because it is fully fenced, so if your dog does not have great recall he/she will still be safe! For Housesitting: I offer care provided in your home, great for seniors or animals who do not do well in a new environment. *I also offer farm and horse-sitting, provided at your home. I myself have 4 horses and extensive experience with equines and other farm animals. as well as horses I have many years of experience caring for, *Reptiles *Birds *Rabbits *Chickens & Ducks *Goats & Sheep *Cows *Pocket Pets (hamsters, gerbils, ferrets, hedgehogs, etc) YES! I do take male and female dogs who have not been spayed/neutered! If they’re under 1 year old it is covered through my nightly puppy rate. If over 1year old please add an additional $10/night for in-tact males or $10/night for females in heat. I am a student at Seattle University school of Law, my schedule is blocked. Most days I only have to be in class for 2 hours a day. 2x a week I have to be in class for 4hours. I am able to spend the large majority of my time at home, at the park, and on walks! -Louie, my dog will keep your fur babe company while I am in class. (Typically 2-4 hours a day depending on what day of the week) -I have the ability to crate your dog, section off a part of the condo, or provide free range. I have a wide range of crate sizes available. -I have cameras that I can access when I am away from the house so that I can continue to monitor your pup! -I am out of the house for 2-4 hours M-F depending on the day. -My husband comes home for lunch every day and does a mid day check, and walk - if needed!
