“Elias watched our 4 y/o dog in our house for a week over the holiday and has walked her a few times before that. He is excellent to work with - responsive, punctual, and easy to work with. He left our home cleaner than when we left it and followed all instructions. He even went over to a neighbor’s house to pick up a package for us that got misdelivered. We will definitely work with him again.”

About: I have 5 years of hands-on experience as a veterinary assistant in an animal hospital, caring for dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. From energetic puppies and kittens to senior pets with special needs, I’m confident handling a wide range of personalities and medical needs. I’m passionate about providing safe, loving, and attentive care, and I always treat every pet like they’re my own! I currently attend college Monday-Thursday during short morning or afternoon hours; typically in class between 8am-12pm or 2pm-6pm. I also work overnights as needed on Fridays and Saturdays (3 shifts a month). When caring for pets in your home, I follow their routine exactly to keep them comfortable and stress free. I make sure they’re safe, well-fed, and get plenty of attention, playtime, and love: just like if you were there.

“Zoe took great care of our Labradoodle, Pepper in our home for the weekend. It was the first time we had a sitter watch him. She was a perfect choice. She was very comfortable with him , took photos a few times a day with an update! She left the house in perfect condition and Pepper was content when we arrived home. I would definitely recommend her and use her again!”

About: I’m dependable and reliable, attention to detail is my jam and I’m comfortable walking with small and big dogs or taking care of cats, even if it takes a while to warm up to a stranger in their home/space! even the most prickly cats eventually get won over! I’m currently working part time and my schedule is flexible! I love being able to walk and get outside or stay indoors to hang out with cats and dogs! I live with a disabled cat so making sure the apartment is safe and cat-proofed is key, and when pet sitting I make sure all escape routes are secured, feeding times and walk times are kept to schedule, and that there’s always room for play time!

“Diana was great! She came through in the clutch after we had a last minute sitter cancellation. She spent quality time with Dinho multiple times a day, called right away the one time Dinho was acting up, and was easy to coordinate with. Would definitely book her again!”

“Melissa was excellent. She sent photos of my dog having fun every day. The house was in perfect condition when I returned. Melissa is a responsible, warm person. I highly recommend her.”

About: I grew up always surrounded by pets. I have consistently had family dogs since I was 6! I have been dog sitting for family and friends since 9-10 yrs old! I am currently a nursing student. Most of my free time is in the evening or on weekends, but I can make overnight dog sitting work! I am comfortable with walking dogs with or with out leashes. I am also an athlete/runner so I can also take dogs on runs if high energy!

About: Since the day i was born i have had a small zoo in my home. Over the years i have had pets such as cats, dogs, birds, fish, reptiles and small animals. I absolutely love caring for my animals and it means the world to me to see them healthy and living their best lives! I currently have a 70+ lb pitbull of my own and spend alot of my free time volunteering at an Animal shelter in NJ. Most of that time is spent walking large (sometimes reactive) dogs, so large breeds and strong pullers are not a problem! I am available for drop ins and walks Monday- Friday (and certain weekends). As long as i do not already have a booking, i am usually available too help my fellow animal lovers with their pet care needs! I never leave animals unattended outside ( including fenced in yards). I also assure that all food and treats being offered are approved by the pet parents which i am working with. I also am very careful about keeping dangerous/toxic household items and plants far out of reach of any animals!

“Michael and Durell are lovely. Durell watched our dogs (one elderly dog and one very active puppy) at our home and they were very happy! Thank you!”

“We were so grateful for Tuba’s services. She made herself available to come meet our boy Freddie on short notice, which was so helpful. She was dependable, very communicative throughout our time away and went above to make sure all of Freddie’s needs were met. Also, Freddie gets scared with thunder and fireworks, so she sometimes came back to him having made a mess of his puppy pads and she never complained but did anything she could to make sure his area was cleaned up and he was comfortable again. We felt very secure with her and would not hesitate to use her services again!”

About: I've taken care of dogs and animals of all kinds since I was 6 years old growing up in the farm. I was born and raised in Montenegro (in Europe). Now I am living in the city and I so very much miss being around animals. Dogs especially are truly amazing and my best friends. I ended up getting my dog Peanut in December of 2021, right after my diagnosis with stage 4 metastasis breast cancer. Peanut has been my life savior and I would do anything to make her happy and have her live the best life. Therefore my reasoning for doing Rover is to find a companion for Peanut to have a good time while I am also enjoying taking care of many other dogs 😊 I am an accountant and luckily I am working from home. My boyfriend is a Software developer and he works from home too. Your pup will be taken care of very well. My dog is a shihtzu/Havannese mix little girl born October 11th, 2021. I walk them every 2 hours and I take them for long walks to the park morning and late afternoon for longer time as needed. We have a lot of dog toys, including challenging games. I enjoy playing and cuddling with them, and they can sleep anywhere, couch or bed. They will always be under my supervision and attentive care. I have training in giving them medication, releasing them from stress, and an obedience course.

About: I have a strong passion for providing attentive and loving care to pets of all kinds. Having grown up around and cared for many animals, I am skilled in offering everything from daily walks and playtime to feeding, grooming, and administering medications when needed. I understand the importance of building trust and ensuring that each pet feels comfortable, safe, and happy in my care. Whether it's providing companionship, exercise, or simply a watchful eye while you're away, I am dedicated to giving your pet the best care possible and ensuring they feel loved and secure at all times. What sets me apart from other sitters is my specialized experience in caring for anxious, sick, and young animals, particularly kittens as young as two weeks old. My background in rescuing and nurturing vulnerable pets has given me a unique skill set in handling animals with specific medical needs or behavioral challenges. I am adept at creating a calm, reassuring environment that helps pets feel safe and secure. Whether it's offering a comforting presence to a nervous pet or supporting a sick animal through their recovery, I provide dedicated, individualized care that ensures your pet’s needs are met with compassion and attention. Disclaimer: I currently have 2 cats, so your pet would have to be gentle towards cats. I work remote from home, so I am home all day. I go out on some weekends for a few hours at a time, but never more than 4 hours. I have a large house and my room is detached from the rest of it, so they would have their own space if need be. I enjoy my daily walks and would love to bring a buddy along! I prioritize safety, trust, and a comforting environment when caring for pets in both my home and my client’s home. In my home, I ensure a pet-friendly space that is secure, clean, and free of hazards, with designated areas for play, rest, and meals. I track their food intake and always keep outtake in mind to catch any problems, if need be. I provide plenty of attention, love, and supervision to make sure pets feel safe and comfortable. In your home, I follow your pet’s routine closely, offering consistent care and maintaining a familiar environment. I always ensure your pet’s safety by keeping their space secure, whether it's limiting access to certain areas or keeping harmful items out of reach. Open communication with pet parents is key, so I regularly update you on how your pet is doing, giving you peace of mind while you’re away. Trust and respect are the foundation of my approach, ensuring that your pet feels as loved and cared for as they would at home.

“Beth was truly amazing!!! Me and my now husband got married last weekend and we were stressing about our fur babies since everyone who would watch him were going to be away with us. I reached out to Beth and from the minute we started speaking I knew they would be in good hands. My cat is friendly and easy to take care of but my dog Capone is a large scared anxious boy. He gets depressed when we aren’t around. Beth sent me pictures and updates the whole weekend. She was patient with him and made him feel comfortable. He definitely warmed up to her and now has a new friend. When we got back and she came by he was so excited to see her! I can’t thank her enough and will definitely be using her again to watch my fur babies!”

“I highly recommend Andrew! Andrew is an exceptional communicator and was great with our puppy. He responds to messages quickly, asks thoughtful questions about puppy's needs and preferences, and sent us adorable photos of our puppy while we were out of town. I cannot recommend Andrew enough!”
