“We loved Christina so much. She was very communicative, prompt with responses and was just so nice. Our little guy was happy and healthy when he came home. We definitely will book again and highly recommend her services.”

“Kristi is a fantastic dog sitter. She took wonderful care of our Aussiedoodle for seven days. She was very accommodating, as she worked around our travel arrangements. She has everything at her house our dog needed from toys to dog dishes to leashes. We will definitely use Kristi again and I highly recommend you use her to watch your dog as well.”

“Our pup absolutely loved staying with Sandra. Her home and yard are perfect for playing and hanging out. We also really appreciated all the pics and videos she sent us. We felt totally comfortable leaving him with Sandra and would definitely use her again.”

About: I love all animals and taking care of them is a dream job. I live in the Franklin NC area year around. I was raised with Boxers and have been a dog momma for 10 rescues. I have an open schedule however I have a wedding in June and a cruise in August. I am flexible and can be on call if necessary. My pets are inside animals. I have 8 acres with a fenced area and 2 friendly labs. I never allow my dogs off leash unless they are in the fenced area. My dogs are never left unattended outside the home. My cat is an indoor cat.
“Our 8 month old puppy stayed with Tracy for 5 nights when we went out of town. This was her first time staying with someone else so I was a bit nervous but there was no need to be. Our puppy was so well taken care of and I was kept well informed with texts, pictures and videos. It made us so happy to see our puppy happy! I would highly recommend Tracy!! We will definitely have Tracy watch our puppy again in the future.”

“Frank was GREAT! He provided loving care to Willa. She was happy and spoiled when we returned, just like we wanted. Frank kept in touch with pictures and texts. He is reliable and left my house clean. I never had a moment's worry while I was away.”

About: I grew up with all kinds of animals, but I have always had a soft spot for dogs. I currently have a senior pup at home who is living his best life. In addition to caring for our family pets, I have helped family and friends care for their furry family members. Bringing in your pet to my home is a great way for me to love on as many furry friends as possible! I currently work full time job so I am currently only available on the weekends, Friday - Monday. I provide boarding, dogs walks and drop in visits. My home has a fenced yard, a little guy named Buddy to play with (if he chooses) most of the time he likes to stay to himself! We can play fetch, go on walks around the neighborhood or just chill. This will all depend on what your pet likes the most! Your pet will be crated when I go out and at night for their safety!
“I used Rover for the first time while away for the weekend. I had my cat with me because I am a travel nurse and she was being sent to my parents house for a vacation between assignments. We had to check out of our rental at 10am but weren’t heading out of town until the evening. Melani took her into her home and gave her a safe place to relax while we explored the area! It was such a relief not to worry about her. Melani even sent me a picture with an update that she was relaxing just fine!! Thank you very much for your kindness towards my girl!! Xoxo - Courtney and Molly”

About: I have been a pet lover my entire life. I was raised in a home where we had Ferrets, Hamsters, a Pet Skunk, a Squirrel named Boomer, as well as Dogs and Cats ... I am very loving and warm to animals and think that animals are more than pets ..they are family members. I have always been a fur mom and would be honored to help you provide the care you would want for your fur baby. Your fur baby will be cuddled, scratched, played with, and loved as if they were my own in your absence. I service Transylvania County, Jackson County and Macon County including Lake Toxaway as well as the Highlands-Cashiers area. I look forward to meeting you and your pet! I am prompt and dependable and will not disappoint you or your pet. Your pets health and well being is of upmost importance to me and I will care for them as if they were my own. I am available to house sit in your home while you are away so they may stay on their normal routine. I have outstanding reviews and can provide additional references as well if needed. I water plants, can care for “off season” homes and ensure your home is safe and secure while you are away.

About: Since a little girl, there has always been dogs inside or outside of the house. As of right now, I have six dogs all different sizes, ages, and personalities. Therefore, I am very comfortable handling anything from energetic puppies to senior pups who need a gentler space. I understand how to manage multiple dogs at once and read their body language to make sure each one gets the care they need. Because of that, I am patient, adaptable, and used to real life situations. I treat every animal like they are my own regardless of where I am (why I have 6 lol), and make sure they feel safe and loved. I am currently a freshman in college who is fully online. Therefore, I have plenty of time on my hands to play with your pups and get what they need! During the summer time, I will be doing this full time as I will be on break. I have a large yard with many pups yours can play with. If needed, I can easily crate your dog if that is what you prefer, however, all dogs are welcome on the furniture here. I also have a quieter space for the older, wanting to sleep dogs🙂

I’m able to commit to consistent routines for walks, feedings, playtime, and check-ins. I’m dependable, organized, and make sure pets receive my full attention during the time they’re in my care. I take safety and trust very seriously when caring for pets. I carefully follow all instructions provided by pet parents, including feeding routines, leash use, and home rules. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
