About: Caring for pets isn't new to me. I'm the go-to pet sitter for a few of my best friends whenever they travel, and I've cared for everything from energetic young dogs to senior pups who require extra patience, medications, vitamins, and special care. I know every pet thrives on consistency, so I always ask for detailed instructions about feeding schedules, walks, medications, favorite toys, sleeping habits, and any little quirks that help them feel safe and comfortable while their family is away. After more than 20 years in the corporate world, including over 13 years in Human Resources, I recently decided to take a career break and slow things down a little while I figure out what’s next. It’s given me something I haven’t had much of in my career — flexibility. My schedule is very open, which means I’m able to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets I’m caring for. I’m not rushing in and out between a full-time job or trying to squeeze pet care into an already busy schedule. I can work around their normal routines and be there for the walks, playtime, meals, medications, or simply the company they’re used to having. I’m starting locally because I’ve been caring for friends’ and family members’ pets for years and would love to continue doing something I genuinely enjoy while building my Rover experience. I’m also hoping to eventually combine pet sitting with my love of travel, so this feels like a really fun new chapter for me. If your pet has a specific schedule or needs someone who can be flexible, I’m happy to work around their routine. And if plans change or something unexpected comes up, I have the flexibility to adjust without it becoming a problem I can’t care for pets in my own home because pets aren’t allowed in my apartment, so I primarily offer care in your home. (My own pets live with my brother, so we have what you would call “joint custody” haha. I’m the auntie who visits any chance she gets and also the sitter whenever my brother is out of town.) Although I’m new to Rover, caring for pets and being responsible for someone else’s home is certainly not new to me. When I’m staying in their homes, I treat it with the same respect and care I would give my own. I’m tidy, respectful of your space, and mindful of your home and belongings. I’m also BIG on routine. Before you leave, I want/NEED to know detailed instructions on how things normally work for your pet — feeding times and portions, walks, medications or vitamins, bedtime, favorite treats, where they like to sleep, and all those little quirks that make them them. Show me their routine, and I’ll do my best to keep things as normal as possible while you’re away. Because I’m taking a career break, I have the flexibility to spend real quality time with your pets. Whether they love long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply having someone nearby, I’m happy to keep them company throughout the day rather than just stopping in to feed them. I’ll also send regular photos and updates so you know how they’re doing and can actually enjoy your time away knowing they’re safe, comfortable, and in good hands :)

I’m Angie, a lifelong animal lover who grew up on a farm up north surrounded by animals of all shapes and sizes dogs, horses, pigs, chickens, rabbits, cows, and even deer! 🐴🐶🐰🐷 Caring for animals has been a natural part of my life for as long as I can remember, and growing up around so many different animals taught me patience, responsibility, and how every animal has their own personality and needs. Over the years, I’ve continued caring for dogs and other pets through house sitting and pet sitting for family, friends, and personal referrals. I’m 20 years old and work a flexible part-time schedule, which gives me plenty of time to provide your pets with attention, playtime, walks, affection, and care. Drop-Off & Pick-Up 🐾 To make arrivals and departures as smooth as possible, I ask that drop-off and pick-up times are confirmed with me in advance. 🏡 Boarding: Drop-off and pick-up are available between 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM. ☀️ Doggy Day Care: Drop-off begins at 8:00 AM, with pick-up by 5:00 PM. I understand that travel plans and schedules can change, so I’m always happy to accommodate different times when possible just communicate with me ahead of time! 🤍 Please keep in mind that boarding stays extending significantly beyond a 24-hour period may include Rover’s extended care rate. For boarding, I do ask that pets staying in my home are up to date on their vaccinations for everyone’s safety.
