“Alana took wonderful care of our 15 month old lab/pit mix Brody. She visited 3 times a day for walks and feeding. She was reliable, attentive, and kept us updated with messages and photos. I could tell Brody was happy, comfortable, and well cared for the entire time. I truly appreciated her kindness and professionalism, and I wouldn't hesitate to book with her again. I highly recommend Alana to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter!”

About: I’m a graduating high school student heading into college, and I’ve been pet sitting for family members and family friends since I was 14. Through caring for pets in their homes, I’ve learned that every pet is different and that keeping their routine consistent helps them feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. If your pet has a specific schedule for feeding, walks, playtime, medications, bedtime, or just things they enjoy, I’ll make sure to follow it closely. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel loved, cared for, and comfortable. I treat every pet like they’re my own and want both pets and owners to feel at ease while away. 🐾 I’m currently working over the summer before starting college, so my schedule is fairly flexible right now. My availability may change from week to week, and I’ll make sure to keep my calendar updated with the days and times I’m available. I’m happy to communicate and work with owners to find times that fit both of our schedules. When caring for pets in a client’s home, my goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and keep their routine as normal as possible. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important daily care and attention are. I care for my own two cats every day and make sure they stay clean, comfortable, and receive plenty of attention and playtime. I also have a Goldendoodle who I walk every morning and night, and I understand that every dog has different exercise and activity needs. I’ll make sure to follow your pet’s routine closely, whether that means walks, feeding schedules, medications, grooming, playtime, or giving them extra attention and comfort. I love spending quality time with animals and make it a priority to give every cat and dog personalized care while keeping your home clean, secure, and respected.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - The Hammocks
My cats feel very safe and comfortable around Carolina. They are usually frightened of other people, but they get along with Carolina very well. Carolina is a good communicator and updated us about the cats daily. She has watched my cats multiple times and I have never had any issues.

Alexandra was absolutely great while I was away for two weeks. She was very attentive, reliable, and made me feel completely at ease the entire time. She provided daily updates along with pictures, which I really appreciated and looked forward to. It was clear she genuinely cared and paid close attention to everything. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and attentive!!
Very thorough and communicative. Took lots of photos and wrote detailed descriptions of every visit. I was having a hard time getting my cat to eat her food, and she figured out a method to get her to lick the plate clean! Highly, highly recommend this sitter.

So glad I found Ledya Z! She is reliable and flexible, and spent the time to really get to know my little dog. Communication was excellent, I got updates and even FaceTimed to make sure she knew where things were. I will definitely use Ledya's services in the future.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
