“I would definitely recommend Kaitlyn to anyone! She was a great dog sitter and did very well with Charlie. She has a natural, gentle way with dogs. She was prompt, personable and professional. I would absolutely hire her again and so should you! !”

“Azucena (Zu) took such great care of Titi over the weekend! From the moment we left, we felt completely at ease knowing Titi was in good hands. She followed all instructions perfectly, kept us updated with pictures and videos, and showed so much love and attention to Titi, especially important since she’s a senior dog. We could tell Titi was comfortable, happy, and well cared for the entire time. Zu went above and beyond, and we truly appreciated her communication and kindness. We would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable and caring. Thank you so much, Zu! ❤️”

“I must say that after a couple of times using river services this have been the most trusted and pleasurable experience we have had. Having Kiara taking care of our fur babies have been great! She truly cares and commit to follow the instructions given for their care. Her passion for caring is truly amazing! We now have peace of mind knowing that we can travel and leave our babies in good hands. I will definitely recommend her to anyone looking for pet boarding or home visits. Thanks Kiara you are the best! ❤️”

“Karla was absolutely wonderful! She was able to accommodate a last-minute house-sitting request, which I truly appreciated. My pup wasn’t feeling well at the time, and Karla went above and beyond—carefully administering medication and making sure he was comfortable and well cared for. I came home to happy, healthy pups and a well-kept home, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. I would highly recommend Karla to anyone looking for a reliable, compassionate, and attentive pet sitter!”

“Juliana was wonderful with my dog, Oso. She was punctual and even came the week before for a meet-and-greet, which I really appreciated. Oso usually does not like strangers and can be a bit cautious at first, but Juliana handled everything patiently and professionally. By the end of the visit, Oso had warmed up to her and was actually very friendly, which says a lot. It was clear that she genuinely cares about animals and knows how to make them feel comfortable. Thank you, Juliana, for taking such good care of Oso. I’m looking forward to having you watch him again in the near future. 🐶😊”

About: Animals have always been a very important part of my life. I have cared for dogs and cats throughout my entire life and have a genuine love for all pets. While growing up in Peru, I rescued numerous abandoned dogs and cats, helping them recover by providing care, food, and lots of affection until they regained their health. These experiences taught me the importance of patience, dedication, and paying close attention to the individual needs of each animal. Since moving to the United States, I have cared for two dogs and one cat, providing them with a life filled with love, comfort, and attention. My most recent dog had a disability and required daily medication, a special diet, and additional care. Through this experience, I learned the importance of maintaining routines, administering medications properly, and being attentive to any special needs a pet may have. I strive to treat every pet as if they were part of my own family. I am responsible, caring, and highly observant of their physical and emotional needs. My priority is to ensure that your pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for at all times. I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate time and attention to the pets in my care. I am available during weekdays and weekends for walks, drop-in visits, daycare, or boarding, ensuring that they receive plenty of affection, exercise, and companionship throughout their stay. I treat every pet as if they were part of my own family. I always follow the owner’s instructions regarding feeding, medications, and daily routines. I maintain a clean, safe, and calm environment, supervise pets at all times, and make sure they have fresh water, playtime, walks, and plenty of affection so they feel comfortable and happy.
“Sandra is simply AMAZING! I honestly felt like I was leaving my fur baby with family. She took such wonderful care of my doodle, showering him with love and attention. The detailed updates she sent telling me about what he was doing, how he was feeling, and even what he ate, put my mind completely at ease. I’m so happy to have found Sandra, and from now on, she’s the only one I’ll trust with my pet! Thank you, Sandra, for being so genuine, kind, and truly passionate about animals. You’ve earned a lifelong client in me! :-)”

About: Hi! My name is Alana, and while this is my first Rover profile, I’ve actually been pet sitting through my family’s Rover account for the past five years. Caring for animals has always been something I genuinely love. I enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality, whether they love long walks, playing fetch, curling up for cuddles, or just having someone nearby to keep them company. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry baby, and I treat every dog and cat as if they were my own. I’ll make sure they get plenty of attention, affection, exercise, and updates, so you can have peace of mind knowing they’re happy and well cared for. I’m currently a university student in Miami, which gives me a flexible and predictable schedule. I receive my class schedule well in advance each semester, allowing me to plan my availability and fully commit to the pets in my care. Most of my classes are only a few times a week and aren’t all-day commitments, so I have plenty of time to provide walks, playtime, companionship, and attentive care. Outside of class, my schedule is very open, and I make it a priority to give every pet the time, attention, and love they deserve. If you have specific scheduling needs, I’m always happy to communicate and do my best to accommodate them! For the past five years, I’ve helped care for pets through my family’s Rover account, where we’ve always focused on providing a calm, safe, and personalized experience. I understand that every pet has their own routine, personality, and needs, so I make it a priority to follow every instruction exactly as provided from feeding schedules and walks to medications, playtime, and any house rules. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat both your home and your pet with the same respect and care I would my own. My goal is to keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible so they feel comfortable, secure, and loved while you’re away. I know how important trust is, and I take that responsibility seriously. I believe every pet deserves patience, affection, and companionship. Whether we’re playing, going for walks, or simply relaxing together, I make sure they’re never left feeling ignored or lonely. My priority is always to create a safe, loving environment where your pet feels happy, comfortable, and cared for until you return.
“Jess was fantastic watching our anxious high energy pup! She showed up on time and sent a bunch of updates and adorable pics throughout the day. Thanks so much Jess and we can’t wait to have you watch Lexi again! ?❤️”

And frequent play time and treats with your consent will be given. This can be customized to what you are comfortable with.

About: I have been surrounded by dogs and puppies literally since the day I was born. Growing up in a pet-loving home gave me a deep, natural understanding of canine behavior, from the high-energy needs of training a new puppy to the daily routines of adult dogs. Now, at 23 years old, I am proud to offer reliable, attentive, and loving care for your fur babies. I specialize in daily walks, structured playtime, and maintaining whatever feeding or medication schedules your dog thrives on. Whether your pet needs an energetic walk around the neighborhood or just a patient companion to hang out with, I treat every dog with the exact same care and respect I give my own. I have a highly flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of quality time to your pets. I am fully available for overnight house sitting, weekends, and daily check-ins or walks. Because pet care is my primary focus during bookings, I can easily adapt to your pet's specific routine, ensuring they get their meals, bathroom breaks, and exercise exactly on time. Safety is my absolute top priority when caring for your pets in your home. I am highly attentive and always make sure doors and gates are securely locked before letting pets move around. During walks, I keep dogs on a secure leash and stay completely aware of our surroundings. I respect your home, keep it completely clean, and will send you regular photo updates so you always have peace of mind while you're away.

“Stephanie was absolutely amazing! She accepted my Rover booking on very short notice, just a few days before the service, which immediately gave me so much relief. From the start, she was communicative, professional, trustworthy, and incredibly reliable. She took such great care of my pups and kept me updated with regular messages and photos, which made me feel completely at ease while I was away. My pups were happy, relaxed, and clearly very well cared for when I returned home. It was obvious they felt comfortable with her, and they warmed up to her right away — which says everything. Not only were my dogs happy, but my home was also left very tidy and well cared for. Stephanie truly went above and beyond, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, dependable, and attentive sitter. I would absolutely book with her again!”

About: I believe my veterinary experience and genuine love for animals set me apart from other sitters. I'm currently a 2nd year vet student and have worked in veterinary hospitals for several years which has made me comfortable in caring for pets with different personalities, energy levels, and medical needs. I have experience with administering medications, monitoring senior pets, handling anxious animals, and recognizing when something may be wrong. I’m also patient, attentive, and focused on making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I treat every pet like they’re my own and give them all the love they deserve!! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because working with animals has always been a big part of my life. I’m currently a 2nd year veterinary student home for break, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I will also be shadowing at a veterinary clinic a few times a week that will help me stay active in the veterinary field while continuing to build my experience with animals. Because of this, I’m very comfortable caring for pets consistently, maintaining routines, and providing attentive, compassionate care throughout the day. My priority is always making sure that pets feel safe, comfortable, and stress-free while their owners are away or while we're on walks. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine to help make them feel as comfortable as possible. I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, receive exercise and playtime, and get plenty of attention and love that they deserve! With my veterinary experience, I'm also able to closely monitor for any changes in behavior, energy level, and overall health. Not only would I want the pet to trust me, but also helping owners feels confident that their pets are in great hands and receiving attentive and compassionate care. I will always treat any animal that crosses my path with love like how I treat my babies at home!!

About: Animal lover, pet-less at the moment, but with lots of animals in my life. I have plenty of love, patience, cuddles, and care to give to your furry family member, big or small. I know how important and stressful finding a reliable place or a trustworthy person is. For over 20 years now neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me to take care of their beloved pets at their house or mine. I have a very welcoming home with couches to surf, plenty of laps to sit on, lots of treats(or not), walks and playtime. My backyard is enclosed and the community has lots of green areas, several parks, fun walks and a dog park just a car ride away. I don’t mind traveling. I have taken care of two potbelly pigs, two donkeys, a squirrel, and two cats up in Archer, FL. Five cats and an African Gray parrot in Orlando. Several cats and dogs at their homes and mine, and whenever I can, I escape to my friend’s farm to help with the care of their horses. My grand-dog, April, loves to visit and get spoiled! Give me the opportunity to show you how well and at home your baby will feel! I work part-time from home so I have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’m available for boarding 7 days a week. I set up beds in the living room and in my office. I also do pottery, and I have my wheel in an enclosed patio with a rug right next to it for my special helpers! I do a walk in the morning and another one about an hour after breakfast followed by some playtime. Then I do bathroom breaks every two hours or as needed. After noon, I work on my pottery and do some gardening in my fenced backyard. Rest assured your pet will never be outside unsupervised. Late afternoon I take them for a longer walk, a bathroom break after dinner, and again before bed. I make sure your baby is active and well exercised, with plenty of time for play, rest, and cuddles! And of course, I will also follow any schedule or routine they may have. I have a pet friendly home with an enclosed patio and fenced backyard, but rest assured your pup will never be left outside unsupervised. Your pet is welcomed on our couches, our laps, and any part of the house they wish to be in. If I have to go out, and no one else is home, I will leave the TV on with relaxing music or pet friendly content playing. I don’t own a crate, but you’re welcome to bring one if your baby is used to staying or sleeping in one. They are welcome to sleep in any of our bedrooms. I usually don’t allow them on my bed but my daughter will be ever so happy to oblige! If I’m caring for your beloved at your home, I will follow any rules you have set up for them, even sleeping with them if necessary!

I highly recommend Karla to watch your fur babies! She’s so sweet and very attentive. She did such an amazing job staying with my 3 dogs. I felt so at ease with them being under her care while I was away traveling. She stayed in touch with me, sent updates, and photos which I greatly appreciate. Thank you Karla!!!

Sofia was awesome with our pups 🐶 she was very attentive and kept them company while we took a short vacation. She is very responsive when you reach out and a very caring pet caregiver I would highly recommend Sofia without hesitation for your pet/house sitting needs thanks again Sofia for taking such great care of our furry kids and we plan to use Sofia again very soon!!!
Kiara took care of my Husky, Roxy, for several days and did an amazing job. She was responsible, caring, and kept me updated the whole time, which gave me great peace of mind. Roxy is older, and Kiara was very patient and attentive to her needs. I came back to a happy, well-cared-for dog. I highly recommend her!

Stephanie took great care of our girl Raven (German shepherd/belgian malinois mix for reference on the energy level if you are looking for that). We got an update for everything and she sent a ton of photos which we appreciated greatly. I highly recommend Stephanie to anyone and everyone. She can handle high energy breeds (and I’m sure low energy breeds). Any care instructions we left were followed meticulously! And my girl absolutely loved snuggling up to her ❤️

This is the second time she’s helped us out and it honestly feels amazing leaving our dogs with someone we trust completely. We never worry about them for a second. If anything, I almost feel guilty because we trust her so much that we literally forget we even own dogs… at least I do 😂 She’s the best and we couldn’t recommend her more.

Sandra is simply AMAZING! :-)

FAQs for House Sitting - Country Walk
Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Country Walk on Rover is $39.21 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of July 2026, there are 2,630 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Country Walk. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Country Walk walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Country Walk maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Country Walk choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Country Walk. On Rover:
- 89% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 99% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
