“I just really appreciate Marcela. Someone I trust and I will definitely call on her again. A beautiful person. I got updates the entire time I was gone. I welcome Marcela into our lives and hope to see her soon.”

“Stephanie was absolutely amazing! She accepted my Rover booking on very short notice, just a few days before the service, which immediately gave me so much relief. From the start, she was communicative, professional, trustworthy, and incredibly reliable. She took such great care of my pups and kept me updated with regular messages and photos, which made me feel completely at ease while I was away. My pups were happy, relaxed, and clearly very well cared for when I returned home. It was obvious they felt comfortable with her, and they warmed up to her right away — which says everything. Not only were my dogs happy, but my home was also left very tidy and well cared for. Stephanie truly went above and beyond, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, dependable, and attentive sitter. I would absolutely book with her again!”

“I highly recommend this pet sitter and trainer. With a college education in canine and feline care, she provides much more than basic pet sitting. Every interaction is used to encourage good behavior and discourage unwanted habits. Dog walks become valuable training opportunities, and drop-in visits include both mental and physical enrichment. Her knowledge, professionalism, and dedication help create a positive, structured environment where pets can thrive.”

“Laura is an awesome pet sitter! She took great care of our 2 Aussies. We communicated throughout our vacation and she sent photos daily. We found our home in perfect condition. We will definitely request her in the near future. Thank you, Laura!”

“I would definitely recommend Kaitlyn to anyone! She was a great dog sitter and did very well with Charlie. She has a natural, gentle way with dogs. She was prompt, personable and professional. I would absolutely hire her again and so should you! !”

“Samantha took wonderful care of Dino! She kept me updated with photos and messages throughout his stay, which gave me so much peace of mind. Dino came home happy, relaxed, and well cared for. She was kind, attentive, and made sure he was comfortable. I truly appreciate the love and care she gave him. I would definitely trust her with Dino again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable pet sitter. Thank you, Samantha! ❤️🐶”

“Alana was wonderful with our baby Kaya. She sent photos, updates and was quick to answer any questions we had. She was able to give our dog her medicine, and took her for her regular walks. We came home to a spotless home, and a happy dog. We look forward to having Alana come back soon, without hesitation. Thank you Alana!”

“I HIGHLY recommend working with Lux (Emily B.). We needed a last minute cat sitter to come do a house stay. We were hesitant about leaving because our elderly cat had recently gotten injured, but Lux kept a careful eye on them the whole time and sent regular updates and sweet photos. They are kind, communicative, responsible, and genuinely love animals. They even stayed a bit longer than required to make sure our cat had company till we got home. So thoughtful, we will definitely be working with them again!”

About: Love animals and I will keep them very safe and make sure nothing happens to them. I am very responsible and know a lot about animal care due to my 4 years studies in high school in veterinary major and volunteered at a vet clinic with 177 hours. I have also pet sit a house with 4 cats and 2 dogs. I am free anytime in the week just let me know in advance and I’ll let you know. My schedule is pretty flexible and I can manage to fit your fur babies into it! I care animals by making sure they have the right amount of food not too much not to little and playing with them so they get some activity and playtime. If it is a dog I will take them out to walk as many times as requested. I am very responsible when it comes to animals. For cats I always make sure to never let them be able to even try to go outside if they are an only indoor cat.

I have to admit I was super nervous leaving my boys for 2 weeks, especially with my cat having congestive heart failure but Ruth was wonderful and followed instructions, came back to our home and the boys looking great. Thank you Ruth, I will be rebooking you again.

Alana was wonderful with our baby Kaya. She sent photos, updates and was quick to answer any questions we had. She was able to give our dog her medicine, and took her for her regular walks. We came home to a spotless home, and a happy dog. We look forward to having Alana come back soon, without hesitation. Thank you Alana!

I highly recommend Karla to watch your fur babies! She’s so sweet and very attentive. She did such an amazing job staying with my 3 dogs. I felt so at ease with them being under her care while I was away traveling. She stayed in touch with me, sent updates, and photos which I greatly appreciate. Thank you Karla!!!

Sofia was awesome with our pups 🐶 she was very attentive and kept them company while we took a short vacation. She is very responsive when you reach out and a very caring pet caregiver I would highly recommend Sofia without hesitation for your pet/house sitting needs thanks again Sofia for taking such great care of our furry kids and we plan to use Sofia again very soon!!!
Kiara took care of my Husky, Roxy, for several days and did an amazing job. She was responsible, caring, and kept me updated the whole time, which gave me great peace of mind. Roxy is older, and Kiara was very patient and attentive to her needs. I came back to a happy, well-cared-for dog. I highly recommend her!

Stephanie took great care of our girl Raven (German shepherd/belgian malinois mix for reference on the energy level if you are looking for that). We got an update for everything and she sent a ton of photos which we appreciated greatly. I highly recommend Stephanie to anyone and everyone. She can handle high energy breeds (and I’m sure low energy breeds). Any care instructions we left were followed meticulously! And my girl absolutely loved snuggling up to her ❤️

This is the second time she’s helped us out and it honestly feels amazing leaving our dogs with someone we trust completely. We never worry about them for a second. If anything, I almost feel guilty because we trust her so much that we literally forget we even own dogs… at least I do 😂 She’s the best and we couldn’t recommend her more.

Sandra is simply AMAZING! I honestly felt like I was leaving my fur baby with family. She took such wonderful care of my doodle, showering him with love and attention. The detailed updates she sent telling me about what he was doing, how he was feeling, and even what he ate, put my mind completely at ease. I’m so happy to have found Sandra, and from now on, she’s the only one I’ll trust with my pet! Thank you, Sandra, for being so genuine, kind, and truly passionate about animals. You’ve earned a lifelong client in me! :-)

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Country Walk on Rover is $39.96 per night (as of August 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of August 2026, there are 2,593 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Country Walk. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Country Walk walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Country Walk maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Country Walk choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Country Walk. On Rover:
- 89% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 99% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
