Hi! My name is Alana, and while this is my first Rover profile, I’ve actually been pet sitting through my family’s Rover account for the past five years. Caring for animals has always been something I genuinely love. I enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality, whether they love long walks, playing fetch, curling up for cuddles, or just having someone nearby to keep them company. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry baby, and I treat every dog and cat as if they were my own. I’ll make sure they get plenty of attention, affection, exercise, and updates, so you can have peace of mind knowing they’re happy and well cared for.

For the past five years, I’ve helped care for pets through my family’s Rover account, where we’ve always focused on providing a calm, safe, and personalized experience. I understand that every pet has their own routine, personality, and needs, so I make it a priority to follow every instruction exactly as provided from feeding schedules and walks to medications, playtime, and any house rules. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat both your home and your pet with the same respect and care I would my own. My goal is to keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible so they feel comfortable, secure, and loved while you’re away. I know how important trust is, and I take that responsibility seriously. I believe every pet deserves patience, affection, and companionship. Whether we’re playing, going for walks, or simply relaxing together, I make sure they’re never left feeling ignored or lonely. My priority is always to create a safe, loving environment where your pet feels happy, comfortable, and cared for until you return.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five Stars All the Way! Alana took care of our babies, Titan, Luna, and Sandy, while we traveled to Tampa this past weekend, and we couldn’t have been happier with her. You can immediately tell that Alana genuinely loves animals and isn’t simply doing this for the money. She has a wonderful personality, was great with all three of our dogs, and most importantly, our dogs absolutely loved her! That says everything to us. Having someone you can trust with your pets while you’re away gives you tremendous peace of mind, and Alana gave us exactly that. I recommend her 100% to anyone looking for a caring, dependable, and genuine pet sitter. Five stars all the way! We will definitely be using Alana again many times in the future. Alana was absolutely amazing! She took wonderful care of our dog while we were away and gave us complete peace of mind throughout our trip. She was reliable, caring, attentive, and even went above and beyond by bringing our delivered packages inside. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and would absolutely book her again. I couldn’t be happier with Alana! She was punctual, reliable, and took such great care of him. She made sure he was fed, stayed with him for a full hour, and spent time playing with him and giving him attention. Alana took wonderful care of our 15 month old lab/pit mix Brody. She visited 3 times a day for walks and feeding. She was reliable, attentive, and kept us updated with messages and photos. I could tell Brody was happy, comfortable, and well cared for the entire time. I truly appreciated her kindness and professionalism, and I wouldn't hesitate to book with her again. Alana was wonderful with our baby Kaya. She sent photos, updates and was quick to answer any questions we had. She was able to give our dog her medicine, and took her for her regular walks. Schedule
I’m currently a university student in Miami, which gives me a flexible and predictable schedule. I receive my class schedule well in advance each semester, allowing me to plan my availability and fully commit to the pets in my care. Most of my classes are only a few times a week and aren’t all-day commitments, so I have plenty of time to provide walks, playtime, companionship, and attentive care. Outside of class, my schedule is very open, and I make it a priority to give every pet the time, attention, and love they deserve. If you have specific scheduling needs, I’m always happy to communicate and do my best to accommodate them!
