Hi! My name is Alana, and while this is my first Rover profile, I’ve actually been pet sitting through my family’s Rover account for the past five years. Caring for animals has always been something I genuinely love. I enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality, whether they love long walks, playing fetch, curling up for cuddles, or just having someone nearby to keep them company. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry baby, and I treat every dog and cat as if they were my own. I understand that every pet has their own routine, personality, and needs, so I make it a priority to follow every instruction exactly as provided from feeding schedules and walks to medications, playtime, and any house rules. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat both your home and your pet with the same respect and care I would my own. My goal is to keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible so they feel comfortable, secure, and loved while you’re away. I know how important trust is, and I take that responsibility seriously. Alana took wonderful care of our 15 month old lab/pit mix Brody. She visited 3 times a day for walks and feeding. She was reliable, attentive, and kept us updated with messages and photos. I could tell Brody was happy, comfortable, and well cared for the entire time. I truly appreciated her kindness and professionalism, and I wouldn't hesitate to book with her again. I highly recommend Alana to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter!
Alana was wonderful with our baby Kaya. She sent photos, updates and was quick to answer any questions we had. She was able to give our dog her medicine, and took her for her regular walks. We came home to a spotless home, and a happy dog. We look forward to having Alana come back soon, without hesitation. Thank you Alana!
We met Alana and her family about five years ago when we started taking our two dogs to their house for Rover services. We were immediately fascinated with the amount of love, care, and attention in which they tended to our children. Fast-forward a few years, Alana started doing Rover at our house taking care of our for babies at our house. She’s already been over a few times we find it easier since our dogs have aged and they don’t do so well with going to other people’s homes. I wouldn’t trust my babies with anyone other than this family especially now that Alana can come over and make everybody’s life so much easier highly recommend five stars all the way.
Alana was amazing with Sashi our schanauzer! She gave her so much attention, played with her, took her for walks and sent us all the pictures while she was in her care. Sashi has a new best friend and we have someone we can trust with our furbaby, which is the most important. Alana is trustworthy and you can tell she loves dogs. I'm so happy we found her for our baby forever.

Schedule
I’m currently a university student in Miami, which gives me a flexible and predictable schedule. I receive my class schedule well in advance each semester, allowing me to plan my availability and fully commit to the pets in my care. Most of my classes are only a few times a week and aren’t all-day commitments, so I have plenty of time to provide walks, playtime, companionship, and attentive care. Outside of class, my schedule is very open, and I make it a priority to give every pet the time, attention, and love they deserve. If you have specific scheduling needs, I’m always happy to communicate and do my best to accommodate them!
