2. Tara R.
About: I grew up with dogs and have had an extensive career in the Animal Health Industry, selling veterinary pharmaceuticals for 25 years, and also working as a client services representative at a busy emergency and referral veterinary center. Not only did I grow up with dogs but I have had my own dogs as an adult, which I actually got because the family I was sitting for could no longer keep them and asked if I would like to make it a permanent situation. I cared for both of them into their senior years and became proficient at managing their medical conditions that arose from aging (diabetes and canine cognitive disorder). My two boys required very extensive care and routine insulin administration for my diabetic as well as additional medications that I became very proficient in administering, even if they were particular about taking pills, etc. I am very knowledgeable in how to manage multiple dogs at once, how to keep dogs safe in various environments, and a good eye for anything that may indicate they may not be feeling their best. When I had my guys, I would often trade sitting and walking favors with my fellow dog owners so I have had a lot of experience sitting for and walking other dogs throughout my life. My goal is to give peace of mind to dog owners that they can go on vacation, business trips, day trips, or just out anywhere, and they will know that their dog is in great, loving hands. I am currently working full-time but I am off on Thursdays and Fridays and I can also take on pets in the evenings after work. When sitting for your pet I can take them out on my lunch hour if necessary. I would follow any requests that you have in order to make your pet as comfortable as they are when you are there. I am very familiar with local walking trails and parks that are pet friendly.
3. David K.
“David is awesome! I felt very comfortable leaving my animals (dog and 3 cats) with him. He took the time to understand our needs and was very responsive with updates. By far the best pet sitter I've ever had!”
4. Joey C.
“Words cannot express nearly enough how fabulous Joey is! Joey was absolutely incredible with our dog. She went above and beyond to work with the times we needed help during a holiday week. Joey was trustworthy and reliable- I knew I could count on her to show up as expected. I was confident that our sweet dog was in great care. She had great communication with when and what she was doing and gave a great report after her visits. I came home to a happy and tired dog! I will absolutely be reaching out to Joey for help again in the future and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a loving and caring person to help care for their pet :)”
5. Jenifer D.
“Jennifer did an amazing job watching our 2 beagles and while we were away! I love that she sent sent us pictures every day and she took the time to come over and meet the dogs beforehand and spent plenty of time getting to know them! I will definitely be using Jennifer in the future!”
6. Casey B.

She has a dog of her own whom she loves and cares for. Casey has a natural affinity for dogs and demonstrates remarkable patience, attentiveness, and responsibility in her interactions with them. She is very reliable and responsible, and I would wholeheartedly recommend Casey for the job!”

“We are super thankful to Ramsey for stepping up to our request of walking our pup, pretty last minute. She was very communicative, punctual, and sent pictures & details of her walks with our Jetta. We would definitely use Ramsey again!! THANK YOU!!”
11. Melissa W.
“Melissa moved in across the river 2 years ago and was a great friend and a great neighbor while she lived here in Montana. I was impressed with her love and care for her own animals so when I needed a pet sitter Melissa was the one I wanted to look after my animals. On several occasions she cared for my big animals, 2 horses, and my dogs and cat for over a week and I never worried at all that they were receiving the best care possible. Melissa is a wonderful person, loaded with character and integrity. She is a hard worker and dedicated to doing the best job that she can at whatever she does. Her love for animals is impressive and she is devoted to caring for them in the best way. I would highly recommend Melissa to watch over any beloved animals!”
12. Kaitlyn G.

13. Lindsey L.
About: I’ve taken care of friends pets as needed through out the years. I would like a dog of my own, but my work schedule doesn’t accommodate it. I also love getting out of the house to walk. It’s a win-win situation for me and you!! My primary work schedule changes each week so I can be flexible based on the days I don’t work. I have four days off per week. I trust that your dog is well trained so when I enter your home I feel safe. I also would like to know if the safety measures you have in place for your pet.
14. Emma K.
“Emma was friendly, prompt, used great communication, and left personalized notes and photos of her walks with our dog Arlo! Definitely hope to use her again in the future!”
15. Kristen G.
“Kristen has cared for our large breed dogs on numerous occasions and she is a joy! Always prompt (with responses as well, sending picture updates while we are out of town), very friendly, caring, and knowledgeable. She always goes the extra mile - literally - while exercising our dogs!”
16. Luke H.
“Great job! Thanks for your help taking care of Mira!!”
17. Mardi W.
About: I've cared for dogs since childhood and into adulthood, always either having dogs or cats. Most recently I pet sat for a yorkie for 4 days inhouse and boarded various dogs in my home. Have cared for senior pets, accommodating their special needs. Pet free at this moment so available for overnight care and boarding. I'm currently retired and my schedule is open. I can adapt my schedule and routine to your pet's needs, putting them first over my own personal life. After meeting with the pet owners, I devise a plan to make sure your pet's experience closely mirrors what they are familiar with, always making their safety and happiness the main priority.
18. Laura D.
“Laura always goes above and beyond to make sure that my animals are given the care and attention they need. She is loving and patient, extremely trustworthy, and highly recommended.”
19. Karina N.
“Karina is such an amazing helper when it comes to my dog Nova! When we adopted her there was a lot of issues with resource guarding and overall she was just very untrained. Karina not only helped take the load off our shoulders by giving us breaks, she also helped train while she pet sat! She is super good at communicating how Nova was doing and sending pictures too! Would definately recommend!”
20. Molly M.
“Molly did great with our Eddy! He can be shy at first but Molly was patient and was able to get him ease up and go for a walk. I would definitely recommend her to the Rover community!”
