About: I've owned and loved cats all my life, and have been fostering cats for years as well. I've had the pleasure of caring for kitties of all ages, personalities, and needs. From crazy kittens to chill seniors, friendly lap companions to shy scaredy-cats - I have experience with it all and take the time to get to know each pet! I am also experienced in administering medications, reading cat body language, and catering to any special dietary needs. Your furry friend will be in loving hands! While I specialize in cat care, I can also care for small dogs! I have a spoiled chihuahua and am very familiar with the needs and personalities of small-breed pups. I do currently work outside of pet sitting but can fit morning and evening visit times into my schedule, as well as afternoon visits on weekends! To keep cats healthy and happy, I take detailed notes on your pet's care routine, dietary preferences, or any other unique requirements. As I know cats can be sensitive, I stick as close to their normal routine as possible so they can feel secure while you're away. I also take my time introducing myself to them and always go at their pace. I make sure to send as many photo or video updates as you'd like so you can rest assured that your pets are safe and comfortable!

About: I grew up with dogs and have had an extensive career in the Animal Health Industry, selling veterinary pharmaceuticals for 25 years, and also working as a client services representative at a busy emergency and referral veterinary center. Not only did I grow up with dogs but I have had my own dogs as an adult, which I actually got because the family I was sitting for could no longer keep them and asked if I would like to make it a permanent situation. I cared for both of them into their senior years and became proficient at managing their medical conditions that arose from aging (diabetes and canine cognitive disorder). My two boys required very extensive care and routine insulin administration for my diabetic as well as additional medications that I became very proficient in administering, even if they were particular about taking pills, etc. I am very knowledgeable in how to manage multiple dogs at once, how to keep dogs safe in various environments, and a good eye for anything that may indicate they may not be feeling their best. When I had my guys, I would often trade sitting and walking favors with my fellow dog owners so I have had a lot of experience sitting for and walking other dogs throughout my life. My goal is to give peace of mind to dog owners that they can go on vacation, business trips, day trips, or just out anywhere, and they will know that their dog is in great, loving hands. I am currently working full-time but I am off on Thursdays and Fridays and I can also take on pets in the evenings after work. When sitting for your pet I can take them out on my lunch hour if necessary. I would follow any requests that you have in order to make your pet as comfortable as they are when you are there. I am very familiar with local walking trails and parks that are pet friendly.

Joey was trustworthy and reliable- I knew I could count on her to show up as expected. I was confident that our sweet dog was in great care. She had great communication with when and what she was doing and gave a great report after her visits. I came home to a happy and tired dog! I will absolutely be reaching out to Joey for help again in the future and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a loving and caring person to help care for their pet :)”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 9 years old. I grew up with dogs and would pet sit around the neighborhood. I also would babysit and take care of the family’s pets while I was there. I have recently started picking that back up. I have watched several different dogs in my neighborhood overnight at my house or at the owners home. I currently work from home with a very flexible schedule. I am able to give your fur babies all the walks, playtime, love and cuddles that they need. I like to ask you what schedule you have your pet on currently and follow that as much as possible. I will ensure your fur babies get the exercise, playtime, love and attention that they need while staying with me.
15. Melissa W.
“Melissa moved in across the river 2 years ago and was a great friend and a great neighbor while she lived here in Montana. I was impressed with her love and care for her own animals so when I needed a pet sitter Melissa was the one I wanted to look after my animals. On several occasions she cared for my big animals, 2 horses, and my dogs and cat for over a week and I never worried at all that they were receiving the best care possible. Melissa is a wonderful person, loaded with character and integrity. She is a hard worker and dedicated to doing the best job that she can at whatever she does. Her love for animals is impressive and she is devoted to caring for them in the best way. I would highly recommend Melissa to watch over any beloved animals!”

About: I have had animals from reptiles to mammals my entire life! Having experience working at a pet store, really helped me adapt to the differences in how cats act versus dogs! I pay attention to strict diets and needs that your animal may have! I am looking to do this full-time! I’m such an animal lover and take pride in what I do. I take caution with Any special requirements your animals need or special diets! I am home all the time so your dog/cat will never be alone! They are allowed on couches or anything as long as you allow that as well!

About: I’ve cared for and owned a range of pets throughout my whole life. In the past I’ve had sheep, chickens, a duck, hamsters, different types of fish, cats, and dogs. I have even rehabbed a few lambs and a goat. Many have trusted me to take care of their human loved ones as a CNA, and that type of care has transferred over when taking care of your furry family members. For the remainder of summer, I am available all day on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am available every other weekend, and every M/W/F after 3:00 pm. I have my own pets, work, and go to school, so gotta make time for all that too! I am okay with collar and/or harness trained, leashed, or fenced in yards. I prefer leash trained pets for walks, but after handling a high energy puppy of my own every day, I will walk your pup or newer to leashes pets. I am also willing to use a stroller if your pet needs it and if it is provided. I’d love to be able to take them to parks or trails for walks or play. Transport in my car is fine by me if you are!
