About: I grew up with dogs and have had an extensive career in the Animal Health Industry, selling veterinary pharmaceuticals for 25 years, and also working as a client services representative at a busy emergency and referral veterinary center. Not only did I grow up with dogs but I have had my own dogs as an adult, which I actually got because the family I was sitting for could no longer keep them and asked if I would like to make it a permanent situation. I cared for both of them into their senior years and became proficient at managing their medical conditions that arose from aging (diabetes and canine cognitive disorder). My two boys required very extensive care and routine insulin administration for my diabetic as well as additional medications that I became very proficient in administering, even if they were particular about taking pills, etc. I am very knowledgeable in how to manage multiple dogs at once, how to keep dogs safe in various environments, and a good eye for anything that may indicate they may not be feeling their best. When I had my guys, I would often trade sitting and walking favors with my fellow dog owners so I have had a lot of experience sitting for and walking other dogs throughout my life. My goal is to give peace of mind to dog owners that they can go on vacation, business trips, day trips, or just out anywhere, and they will know that their dog is in great, loving hands. I am currently working full-time but I am off on Thursdays and Fridays and I can also take on pets in the evenings after work. When sitting for your pet I can take them out on my lunch hour if necessary. I would follow any requests that you have in order to make your pet as comfortable as they are when you are there. I am very familiar with local walking trails and parks that are pet friendly.

“Ben has always been a kind animal lover. As a boy his family always had a pet dog and he helped train and take care of them. There were also pet cats in the family who were loved and well cared for. As a teenager Ben would walk and feed his Pastor's dog when he needed to be away. As an adult after finishing college, he has always had a pet. His rescue dog was very sweet, loved dearly, and lived a good long life. Now his two indoor rescue cats are happy and given excellent care. He recently took in his aunt's dog for several weeks while she moved to another state. Ben is great with cats and dogs.”

About: I love all animals, especially dogs, and have had dogs and cats all my life. Right now my wife and I own three dogs (a 9 year old Corgi/Pit mix, a 2 year old Pitbull Terrier, and a 3 year old Husky/ Great Pyrenees mix). I have owned fish in the past as well as several cats and dogs and have some hamster experience. This makes me different from other sitters because I have been around all kinds of species, ages, and sizes of animals. I am very responsible, on time, and reliable. I am active as well, which makes me a good fit for walking and playing with all sizes of dogs and getting them the exercise they need. I can't wait to meet your fur babies! (: I am currently working part time and going back to school for a degree. This makes me a good fit because i have flexible availability through the day/ evening to give your fur babies the care that they deserve. I treat all animals as if they were my own. I like to visit before to get to know your babies and their needs/ likes/ dislikes so I can give them the best care possible.

“Kayla has a huge heart for animals. She has had dogs and cats as pets her whole life. Kayla is very responsible and makes sure the animals are fed and well taken care of. When the weather had been too bad for walks, Kayla would play w the dogs inside th house so they could release some energy and not be so bored. She loves to cuddle w her pets. Lily, her cat, waits for Kayla to come home and curls up next to Kayla first chance she gets. Kayla knows it’s hard for dogs to wait for their owners to get home, so I think she would be amazing as a Rover employee. I would not want to leave my pets with anyone else. Karen D”

About: Hello, What sets me apart from other sitters is I’ve taken care of neighbors dogs and friends dogs in the past. And I am suffering from an extreme case of puppy fever, so let me take care of yours. So I don’t get my own :) I am currently working 8-5PM Monday-Friday. I have flexibility at night and on the weekends! My schedule is flexible and subject to change in the near future. I live in a secluded area close to many parks in the Delafield and Oconomowoc where your pup can run around. I love dogs and would create a safe environment for them!
