About: I’ve helped my mom take care of her dog since he was a puppy. I like to stop by and provide him with an enriching walk, some much needed playtime or even some pets and a relaxing staycation. I’ve also assisted my grandmother with her senior dog in the past. Although she was a senior pup it didn’t mean she deserved any less care. Making sure she was comfortable in her later years was something I valued deeply. I currently have a part time job generally working Monday-Friday from 5am-10am (times vary slightly). This schedule leaves me with a lot of time during the day that I’m looking to fill with a satisfying and fulfilling side gig. I care for my dog at home by providing him with enriching activities such as a leisurely walk, some simple fetch, going on a car ride locally so he can experience more smells or testing his nose by letting him find treats around the yard.

I know how upsetting it can be when you're missing your pets, and my goal ultimately to reduce the stress and uncertainty of both you and your pet while you're apart. I prefer to care for pets in their home if they are typically distressed outside of their normal environment. However, if you would prefer your pet be taken care of in my home, that's not a problem! I have a fenced in yard with lots of places to walk and parks nearby. We have a friendly Australian Shephard to keep your pets company, as well as plenty of activities and toys for enrichment. I strive to keep your pet on the same routine they have at home and add plenty of activity to reduce the distress they feel in your absence. We do have a cat who is more reserved and tends to stay in his room, as well as three kiddos, all around age 10 with unlimited energy and love for your animals. As far as transportation, I have an SUV with a doggy hammock and seatbelt for safe transport, as well as many different size pet carriers.

About: There has always been a pet in the home since childhood, I’ve watched and taken care of 5 personally owned dogs from puppyhood to adulthood! I have babysat my aunts cat Tammy for a few months now, and I have taken care of my own dog Maestro when my parents are on vacation, or need an extra pick-me-up. I also have been volunteering at Humane Society of Harrisburg for about a few months now! I have always had a huge heart towards animals of all personalities and sizes. About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since as early as I can remember. Honestly I get along with animals better then people! We've always had a dog and more recently cats. My in-laws ask for my help when they take a trip and I am always happy to help! Currently I am caring for my kids during most of the day but I am open on evenings and weekends as needed! I'll try to fit anything in that I can! I'll always greet the animals first and make sure they are comfortable with me. Then I check for water and food. Once I make sure those are good we are off for play time or walk time!

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
