I have plenty of time to visit and play with pets while my kids are at school, when I'm not at work or my husband is home with the kids. I can be available on short notice to do drop in visits and walks pretty much any day of the week. I need more advance notice (3+ days) to schedule overnights.

I do not offer pet sitting services in my own home because my own dog is very bossy. She is very friendly and sweet, but there are a few dogs shes met she did not get along with. I have grown up with dogs and cats my entire life. I learned very early the importance of routine, hygiene and regular medical care is just as critical for pets as it is for people. My pets visit the vets office regularly and as needed. My dog is spayed, current on all required vaccines and we use preventative flea and tick measures. My cats are kept indoors at all times.

I understand that each individual pet is different. I'm willing to accommodate animals with special needs, follow detailed instructions and any other necessary considerations to keep pets happy in my care.
A typical day
I really like to play fetch and tug o' war with my canine pals. I love to give scratches of all kinds and belly rubs and treats! I also enjoy playing with cats using laser pointers, strings and boxes. And if some light combing or brushing is something your pet likes, I can do that as well, at no extra charge. And I've known to teach a pooch or two some simple commands like, "shake hands" and "Sit"

I am a lifelong animal owner. I have loved and cared for cats, dogs, fish, snakes and a variety of rodents. I am a mom of 2 and looking to make a little extra income doing something that truly brings me joy. We currently have several family pets; a shiba inu, 2 cats and an large aquarium with 8 fish. I care for these precious creatures everyday and I have been entrusted by family and friends to care for their pets from a very young age. I have used Rover for my own pets in the past and so I understand the value of the trust necessary and importance of the work involved. That's why it was a natural choice for me to work with them to become a pet sitter. So, though I'll never be your pets favorite person, I will do everything I can to make sure they enjoy and look forward to all my visits and are kept safe, happy and healthy while in my charge.

Cassandra did a fantastic job watching my cat Ajax for me while I was away for the weekend. I was really nervous about leaving him with someone I didn't know well, but I felt very reassured with Cassandra after our meet and greet and was sure she'd take good care of Ajax. She arrived on time or early for every visit, sent me a bunch of pictures each time, and made sure Ajax had everything he needed while she was here. I will definitely keep Cassandra in mind for the next time I go away to take care of Ajax for me!
Cassandra was truly wonderful and truly cared so much for Auggie as we were on a long trip! We are so appreciative!
I've known Cassandra for many years and she is reliable and trustworthy. She has cats and a dog of her own which she takes excellent care of. I have used her services to care for my own pets and know that I can count on her to take the best care of my dogs and cats when I'm away.
