About: I grew up in a family that loved animals and I've had pets my entire life. I know how hard it is to work long hours or be away from home without them. I have spent the last 18 years working with dogs and cats. I have managed a doggie daycare and boarding facility and worked for a humane society as a community outreach manager and volunteer coordinator. Besides loving on all the pets, I spent my time there teaching animal safety to children and providing basic animal care and dog handling lessons to volunteers. I have fostered puppies and helped feed and care for cats and dogs awaiting adoption. I am pet CPR and first aid certified. I helped socialize shelter dogs by taking them out for walks, car rides, pup cups and patio time at Starbucks. I have always been the friend you call when you need a pet sitter or help with something pet related. I have two dogs and two cats of my own and they bring so much joy to my life! I love being in the company of pets and would love to spend time with yours. I work full-time Monday - Friday and have a hybrid work schedule. I work from home two days per week which gives me more flexibility to care for your pets. I am available before and after work and mid-day during the week and have more availability on the weekends. I have a lot of experience caring for my own pets, foster dogs, and pet sitting for family and friends. My own dogs do best with having a daily routine, so I tend to keep the same schedule for feeding, medication, walks and bedtime. I will do the same for your pets. My goal is to always make sure people feel good about leaving their pets in my care.
“We were so glad to find Sadie. She took great care of our pets. I'm pretty sure she did more than we asked her to. And a big bonus for us is that our dog is lonely for dog time and her sweet shepherd and our big husky/shephard/malamute hit it off big time. So Rocky got dog play time while we were away, which I'm sure took the sting out of being left home. Luckily, he was delighted to see us. But he sure didn't have than "you neglected me" look we've seen on our return other times. In fact, he's much happier overall since we've returned. We sure can't complain about that. Karrington is amazing! He came over earlier this week for a meet and great and my pups took to him right away. What I noticed most in that meet and great was that even though I was chatting his ear off about dog things - he always diverted his attention to my dogs to play and warm up to him in the process! Both my dogs showed immediately love towards him — I especially noticed how much Merika (my male dog) took to him!! Highly recommend! He will be doing overnights with my pups in the future when I travel for work!
I cannot recommend Shyann enough! I had to make a last-minute booking, and they completely exceeded my expectations. Even with the short notice, they insisted on doing a meet-and-greet to make sure my dog was comfortable and that all instructions were clear—a level of professionalism and care I truly didn't expect given the tight timeline. They are reliable, incredibly sweet with my pup, and provided fantastic updates. It is such a relief to find someone so dependable and accommodating. I will absolutely be booking again!
