One of my favorite things about dogs is how each one is unique! I take the time to learn each dog's likes, dislikes, triggers, and quirks. I've been a dog-walking volunteer at Speranza Animal Rescue for over two years, where I walk dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I'm also a dog training nerd, and I'm always excited to share training and enrichment ideas with my clients. My own dog of 14 years struggled with reactivity, which sparked my passion for learning about dog behavior. I believe in the importance of building a relationship with each dog. I also have experience with senior dogs and giving medication. Whether your dog is a nervous nelly, a rambunctious rascal, or something in-between, I tailor each walk or drop-in to meet your dog's needs!

I will keep your home tidy and neat when I visit, as if I haven't been there. I'm happy to refill food/water, bring in mail or packages, and crate or gate your pup if needed before I leave. Just let me know what you need!

Reactive dog owners rejoice! Nina was so amazing and patient with our reactive boy, Murph. He takes a little bit to warm up to people and is dog/stranger reactive, so I needed someone who has experience with that. She is very patient and respectful of Murph’s boundaries. She’s really good at reading dog behavior and has training experience too! I am so thankful for Nina and look forward to booking her again!

Nina is the best! She has pet-sitted for us for many years through 2 difficult dogs, taking great care of them. We have 3 other family dogs who have visited when Nina was caring for our dogs and she managed all of them together. She has stayed at our house with all the dogs and still managed to keep the house spotless! Nina is always our firsst choice for pet-sitting. We know our dogs will always be in good hands.

- If your dog has any special "quirks," I want to know! Reactive to men in hats? Obsessed with chasing bikes? Doesn't like having their ears touched? I've seen it all, so nothing will surprise me. The more I know, the better I can prepare!
