Availability
I work from home, so I can usually fit in daytime visits around my work, and would even work from your home and sit with your pet for up to an hour if needed. I like to stay active so your wild pups give me an excuse to run/walk!

Safety, trust & environment
I’d prefer to walk your dog or visit in your home. I’m very active and happy to walk or jog your dog. I focus on your pet when I’m with them, engaging and speaking with them to help nurture and enrich them in your absence.
Information Danielle P. would like to know about your pet
I’d like to know your words for discipline and praise, practices for entering and exiting the home (do they sit at the door first?), do you have them sit for treats, what is their release word, how do they take treats, do they need to be monitored or separated for eating, how are they with other animals/children/men, what are their quirks? Tell me what they like - belly rubs, head/butt scratches, playing in the yard, walking/jogging etc. I would want to meet you and them in your presence and their environment in advance.
A typical day
We would typically go for walks with plenty of stops to sniff and relieve themselves (I always pick up the poopers!). If your dog is a ball hound like mine, I’m happy to throw for them until they’re tuckered out. I love all animals and strive to ensure their comfort and safety in your absence.

Pet care experience
I grew up always living with at least one large dog and a cat, and now I have two of each! My current menagerie consists of a 120lb bloodhound, a senior 80lb Great Pyrenees mix rescue, a grumpy tiger cat, and a sweet little black kitty. I’m familiar with all types of cats and dogs - tiny to extra large, stranger-averse, shy and scared, senior and needy, and high energy. I run my bloodhound almost daily and am dealing with senior, end of life care for our rescue. I’ve nursed dogs through surgeries and cancer, cats through renal failure and seizures, and I will care for your peanuts as though they are my own. I ask that you share your words and cues with me, details on schedules and any quirks. I do work from home so can accommodate your schedule fairly easily. When I pet sit I make sure to send pictures as I like to see that myself! Will work with you to make sure your pet (and you) are comfortable with me in your space and caring for your pet the way you would.

Great as always!

Danielle is great with the dogs and sharing updates!

Danielle is amazing with my 3 cats. She is loving and really enjoys taking care of them. I would recommend her over and over again.

Checked on my kitty. Sat and petted kitty who usually hides.
