Availability
I’m a full-time Dog Walker and Drop-ins. I am available 5 days a week. I work as a house cleaner on Tuesdays. Sundays I spend with my family. Tuesday’s and Sunday’s are the only days I am unavailable for Dog walking and Drop-ins. I am available Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays for Dog Walking or Drop-ins. I love all animals! I love Dog walking and doing Drop-ins. I believe my purpose in life is to take care of animals and give them wonderful care. In my spare time I go to the gym, cook food, spend time with my dog, spend time with family & friends, and learn more about dogs.

When in a clients home I follow their specific requests. Attention to detail is important to me. Following your pets routine is a high priority for me. I will give your pet lots of attention and guidance. I will treat your home with respect. My dog is a part of my family and I treat him as such. I will treat your pet as if they were my own, giving them lots of attention and love. I like following routines, creating trust with guidance and positive reinforcement. I live in an apartment, downtown Harrisburg, with no yard. I have one dog named Mochi. He is 6 years old, a Chihuahua/French Bulldog, neutered and up to date with vaccines.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs. I can accommodate them as best as I can. Upfront honesty about any behaviors your dog has is very helpful to keep your dog safe and ensure they have a positive experience. I can adapt and adjust to provide excellent care.
A typical day
I can take them on walks. I can provide lots of physical activity. Playing in the house or backyard, with balls or frisbees or toys. I have lots of dog toys available. I have lots of dog puzzles to choose from for playtime, for some mental stimulation. I can spend time practicing commands or tricks the dog already knows. We can snuggle on the couch for nap time or to watch doggie tv.

I work with you to give your pet the care you want. I have 15 years of pet sitting experience. I am very patient and passionate about animal care. I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, blind dogs, deaf dogs, kittens, senior cats, special needs cats, giving oral medication and basic grooming. I have lots of experience with senior dogs, and English Bulldogs. I grew up with animals and always having pets. I grew up with cats, dogs, fish, guinea pigs, hamsters, hermit crabs, and rabbits. My pet sitting experience includes different breeds and different ages : of Cats, Rabbits, Hamsters, Boston Terriers, German Shepherd, Pomeranian Poodle, Miniature Yorkie, Miniature Dachshund, Labrador, Dalmatian Boxer, English Bulldog, Blind Chinese Crested Powder Puff, Puggle, Shitzu, Chihuahua Frenchbulldog, Miniature Australian Shepherd, Maltese, Golden Retriever and a Poodle Jack Russel. I love learning about different breeds and their specific needs.

Shelby is so great with my reactive dog. I’m really hesitant to trust new people with his care but she was attentive during our meet and greet. And she really seemed confident in helping him through his walks if he needed it. We have her on a weekly basis. :)
Wonderful care for our little Rosie!
She is the best pet sitter we have ever had. We never worry about the care and love our dogs will receive while we are away. She always sends a lot of pictures and videos and daily notes about each day they spend with her. If your dogs are everything to you and you miss them every second you’re away from them then Shelby will give you peace of mind with her gentle and loving care. She is also great with older animals or ones needing special medical care. You won’t regret hiring her for the care of your beloved animal companion.
