About: I am a lifelong animal owner. I have loved and cared for cats, dogs, fish, snakes and a variety of rodents. I am a mom of 2 and looking to make a little extra income doing something that truly brings me joy. We currently have several family pets; a shiba inu, 2 cats and an large aquarium with 8 fish. I care for these precious creatures everyday and I have been entrusted by family and friends to care for their pets from a very young age. I have used Rover for my own pets in the past and so I understand the value of the trust necessary and importance of the work involved. That's why it was a natural choice for me to work with them to become a pet sitter. So, though I'll never be your pets favorite person, I will do everything I can to make sure they enjoy and look forward to all my visits and are kept safe, happy and healthy while in my charge. I have plenty of time to visit and play with pets while my kids are at school, when I'm not at work or my husband is home with the kids. I can be available on short notice to do drop in visits and walks pretty much any day of the week. I need more advance notice (3+ days) to schedule overnights. I do not offer pet sitting services in my own home because my own dog is very bossy. She is very friendly and sweet, but there are a few dogs shes met she did not get along with. I have grown up with dogs and cats my entire life. I learned very early the importance of routine, hygiene and regular medical care is just as critical for pets as it is for people. My pets visit the vets office regularly and as needed. My dog is spayed, current on all required vaccines and we use preventative flea and tick measures. My cats are kept indoors at all times.

About: Grew up with dogs in the family. A collie and a husky. Currently have a beagle that is 6 years old. Had her since she was 9 weeks old. We walk every day. Care is a high consideration on very cold days as well as hot and humid summer afternoons. I don't work during the summer months. Have time to care for a pet for someone or a family who needs help so they can plan a vacation or time away. Or for those who have a demanding time schedule. I only have one pet, dog, in the house. A fenced in yard and a wireframe crate that is 2 feet x 3 feet and about 2 - 2.5 feet high.

About: I’ve had pets since I was 5. I’ve always been in charge of their wellbeing. I currently have 4 pets so handling a couple more fur babies isn’t a problem for me. Either they’re big or small. I’ll treat them as my own. I currently am not working so I will be with your fur baby 24/7. I am very strict with feeding times, potty breaks and play time. I have a fenced in back yard with lots of room to run. I also live a block away from the park so a nice walk would be able to happen as well. My family has a total of 4 cats and three dogs but not to worry all dogs are very friendly and I will be there at all times during interaction if anything where to happen. About: I have always loved animals growing up. We’ve always had a dog to play with. It sure made things a little more rambunctious but it added to the fun. I have helped take care of my first dog who passed away from colon cancer. It was not an easy thing but it was worth it to make sure she was comfortable her last days. I have watched friends and families pets when they have gone on vacations. I also work part time with a small pet sitting business. I’m so looking forward to getting to know your fur babies! I also work from home Monday, Wednesday, Friday and work in the office Tuesday and ThursdayI do work in office two days and work at a restaurant Friday evening and on Saturdays. If you ask for Saturdays I will make sure to only work half a day at the restaurant so your animal won’t go more than 7 hours without being let out that day. I’m not allowed to have animals in my apartment so this lets me love on yours because i don’t get to have one 🥰 I do my best to follow directions for specific needs of the owners as I watch and take care of their animals. For dogs, I like to make sure they’re getting plenty of exercise because that is usually what they crave throughout the day. I make sure that each animal gets the pets and love that they miss from their owner when they aren’t there. I love to give treats but usually take the cue from the owner on how many they are allowed to have. I like to let the animal to get to know me and my scent before showering them with all of the love because of skittish and animals that may have been abused prior. I do my best to take my cues from the animal. I will make sure that they are fed on the schedule that is provided by the owner and ensure that they have all the water they need. For medication I will need a rundown of times and ways to administer it. When it comes to certain medicines I may need a demonstration but after I will have no problem administrating medicine or other care for sick or older animals if that is your need

“If you want your dog truly loved & cared for, BOOK Phillip & Maria!!! Bodhi had THE BEST TIME: walks, cuddles, new dog friends. We got a video every day & Maria replied within 10 minutes any time I messaged. I can't say enough good things-- we've had some sketchy Rover sitters and Phillip & Maria restored our faith. Our boy was with them 5 days, he ate well, and slept like a rock. 10/10 highly recommend and we will be booking with them again!!!”

“Michelle is genuinely and totally awesome! She graciously agreed to board my Bear for over a month and care for him until I was able to rehome him. Please read through this review if you’re looking for a truly trustworthy, sincere, loving and caring dog-sitter... Upon our initial meet n’ greet Michelle was professional yet really down-to-earth which helped to make me feel like I was leaving Bear with a dear friend. Her love for dogs was obvious from the first meet. It was raining on the day we met and Michelle without hesitation sat on the ground to greet Bear and he took a liking to her immediately! Throughout Bear’s stay Michelle took Bear everywhere. He enjoyed his long walks in the park and trips to friends. Each time I visited I was excited to see how comfortable and relaxed Bear’s temperament was and how much he had grown. You’ll understand in the next few paragraphs.... I am so grateful for Michelle for many things yet, there are three things I’d like to mention here that meant the world to me which is why I would highly recommend anyone looking for a caring, loving, genuine, dog-mom to consider Michelle. Firstly, I informed Michelle early on that I hadn’t socialized Bear very much at all in the past. This was somewhat of a concern for me as I was rehoming Bear and having him feel more comfortable with strangers and other dogs would help him. Michelle willing and successfully socialized Bear with strangers and other dogs as well as provided me with regular updates on his progress. She’s done amazing work with Bear which I will be forever grateful for! And, Bear’s a happier dog because of it!!!! Secondly, having to rehome Bear was and is truly a difficult decision. Bear recently loss his dog companion brother of 7 years to cancer, separated from his dog-father and he had to relocate to another state. So Bear has experienced much loss and changes over the past few months. However, with Michelle boarding Bear until his adoption was complete helped to provide Bear with stability - one-loving-home-to-stay. She cared for his every need, played with him, kissed and hugged him, and really really spoiled him! :) Lastly, during the rehome process Michelle willing participated in the meet n’ greets and offered her experiences with Bear with potential adoptees. She both traveled and welcomed them into her home. Most, most. most importantly is how instrumental she was in helping me to get Bear adopted. She without my asking created amazing n’ adorable YouTube adoption videos of Bear for me to upload on Bear’s online adoption profiles. I also uploaded some of the pics she took of Bear during his stay. As of this review, Bear has an awesome new dog-mommy and I give much of the credit to Michelle, most definitely!!!! Michelle was-is a life-saver for both me and Bear. And, on top of everything I made a great friend....Thank you Michelle!!!!!”
