About: I have taken care of animals since I was a kid. I have experience with a wide range of dogs. Ranging from small dogs to large such as German Shepards and Great Danes all the way to chihuahuas. I take pride in having the patience in getting to know each animal and their needs. I have a calming caring demeanor and work hard to build trust with each animal. I have a lot of experience walking dogs, feeding, house sitting cats and dogs and am a go to for friends and family. I am currently working part time and would love to fill my schedule caring for your pets! After losing my lab a few years ago, I often seek opportunities to build connections with animals of all sizes and ages. About: I've been an animal lover as long as I can remember. When I was 9 years old, my Dad got me my first Golden Retriever for Valentine's Day 1998. Her name was Star. I wanted a Golden because I fell in love with Shadow from "Homeward Bound". Star was my best friend, and we trained together in Canine Good Citizenry and agility. She could jump through hula hoops, over my arm, and she knew all sorts of tricks. I also love horses and used to spend summers and spring breaks on my cousin's farm in Apopka, Florida where she was the Barn Manager for a gal who rode in the Irish Olympics for the Equestrian Team. I had my own horse when I was younger, but we sadly had to sell her when my mother passed away when I was 9 years old. I've had dogs and cats off and on my entire life, but sadly, I just recently moved to Oregon and do not have any pets of my own right now for a few reasons: The first is that I'm working diligently to get established in Oregon and currently have a Mon-Thursday schedule with the City of Salem that requires me to be away from home for over 10 hours a day. Second, my roommate has a sick and aging cat who is not doing well, and we do not want to stress him out by adding pets to the house right now. Hopefully, my roommate will be able to reconsider when things change, but for now, Bok Choy (and his comfort) is our main priority at my house. Third, I'm hoping to move my Dad out to Oregon within the next 3 years, but for now, he is living alone as a retiree in Georgia, where I grew up. He is very attached to our dog Hank, and even though I'm definitely Hank's favorite person, I couldn't stand the thought of separating those two because I felt like my Dad needs Hank more than I do as Hank is his reason to get up in the morning! I miss Hank more than words can express, but I think we made the right call because Hank does not like being alone, and Dad can accommodate this as he is retired whereas I am in the main career years. I have previous dog sitting experience, but sadly, my identity was hacked, and I lost all of my photos on my Facebook account and lost many of my contacts through my old email address that I lost access to. I have also done amateur dog training and hope to get a professional certification in dog training within the next 12 months. I am happy to house sit during my work week if you only have cats that need tending after office hours. I won't be accepting house sitting for dogs unless there is an understanding of my work schedule and the dog has access to a doggy door and a yard or puppy pads are used during the day. I would highly recommend finding a sitter who can be with your dog during the business day instead of requesting me if you have dogs and need assistance during my work week (Mon-Thurs). This is a Side Hustle for me, but it also the more meaningful of my jobs because I love animals more than anything else in this world, and being around them is good for my mental health. I currently work Monday-Thursday until 4:30PM so it will be difficult for me to provide overnight dog sitting until Thursday after 5 PM unless your dog has access to a doggy door or puppy pads. I would highly recommend finding a sitter who does this full time if you need assistance during business hours Monday-Thursday. When I am at your house, your pet is my priority. If they need exercise or stimulation, we will make that happen. I will almost feel guilty for getting paid for it because it will literally be my pleasure. I will ask you to leave detailed instructions that will make my life easier and expect you to extend trust to me to do my job well. I understand it is difficult and that trust is earned and not freely given, but we need to have a clear discussion before you leave about what your expectations are so I can decide If I can meet those in a way that will not cause me undue anxiety. If you need someone after 5PM Mon-Thursday or anytime on the weekends, I am your sitter!

About: I have been to go to pet sitter in my neighborhood all of my life. I've dealt with one neighbor's dog in particular who is a difficult dog and requires medication. Pet care is always my number one priority because if someone was taking care of my dog, I would want the same level of care that I provide. I like to learn and also know the routine of the animal I'm watching to best fit their needs and learn or change when necessary.

About: I am a lifelong animal lover and pet owner. I specialize in both dog and cat care from training and exercising, to feeding and brushing. I am a proud owner of several huskies and a Siamese cat currently. I am a teacher during the day during the school year but have evenings free and any time on the weekends. I’m available most anytime during the summer months. I am a runner and a dog sport enthusiast. I frequently engage in urban mushing with my huskies. I can run or walk your dog and I am also skilled in basic dog obedience skills and pet care. I enjoy interacting with pets in ways to keep them active and happy.

About: I’ve pet sat for over 10 years for friends & family. I’d love to care for yours. I have two tabby’s who are well trained and have been around dogs in the past. My pup unfortunately passed away last summer and I’m not ready to get on full time but would love to care for yours as I cared for her and give them the best experience while you’re away. I have the weekend free, Columbia and I tend to go on hikes and or at the park. During the week, I go home directly to let my own dog out to the bathroom. I will follow any instructions following your pet. I understand how important consistency is. We have a side yard for playing, potty breaks or sunbathing.

About: Since 2021 I’ve fostered 2 cats and 2 dogs and have found them each their perfect forever homes. I love animals and love making sure that they’re cared for and taken care of. Trails, parks, and beaches, oh my! Oh the places that your little furry friend and I will go 🐶🐾🦮 As a veteran enrolled in law school full time, I understand the importance of time management and responsibility. Most of my availability will be during the week after class and in between studying, with more time typically opening up on the weekends. I am unable to care for pets in my apartment complex but I will make sure that your pet continues to feel right at home in their own environment. I’ll cater my care to any dietary or medical treatments and medications and will ensure that they are properly exercised.

About: I've taken care of pets basically my whole life, especially cats, and I've also had a dog for a couple years. I'm always the first person my friends and family call when they need help with their pets. I stay well read on what's good for animals, from training to helping with anxiety, and I'm always willing to go the extra mile to make sure a pet is happy. They're living creatures who deserve just as much happiness as we do. In terms of training, I've helped a cat retrain to use the litter box after it regressed due to anxiety, working through the root cause rather than just the behavior itself. I've also reduced aggression in animals through consistent training. I'm willing to stick with things for a long time and stay consistent, especially when it's for the betterment of the animal. My life is quite flexible, so pet care fits easily into my routine. I prefer jobs where I'm able to stay in charge of how the work gets done, since that's when I feel like I can give my best contribution. That flexibility means I can adjust to a pet's needs rather than squeezing them into a rigid schedule. When I'm caring for a pet in their own environment, I make sure to respect their space and routine completely, from where they're allowed to go to how they're used to being handled. I pay close attention to safety details like doors, gates, and anything that could be harmful to them, and I adapt to whatever setup the home already has in place.

About: Ive worked at a dog hotel for 8 plus years and have taken care of all different types of dogs. I get along with any dog I meet and I would love to help care for your baby regardless what stage in life they are at. I work at a dog hotel so I can make almost anything work. Just let me know the situation and we can work together :) I know how to do meds and have been doing them for years. I can handle elderly dogs/cats and younger. I can go on long walks or small walks depending on the dog.
