With over 15 years of experience owning, fostering, and providing care for a wide range of pets, I bring both passion and expertise to every interaction. Most recently, I worked as a Behavioral Consultant at a local Pet Hospital for four years before transitioning to in-home care services. Thanks to support from family, I have the flexibility to offer specialized, reliable pet care services. As a PSI (Pet Sitter International) Certified provider, I’m open for bookings and offer a variety of services tailored to pets of all sizes, types, and temperaments. While I’m not currently offering boarding, I’m happy to come to you and prioritize a clean, safe, and stimulating environment for your pet. I am here to work around the Clients schedule, not my own. Each service is personalized and catered to your pets needs, wants and boundaries. Pets will be returned to the care of their owner & given a summary of services provided, behavior while being serviced & any other necessary information regarding your pets experience. It is important to me to keep owners as involved & updated as possible.

About: I've been an animal lover as long as I can remember. When I was 9 years old, my Dad got me my first Golden Retriever for Valentine's Day 1998. Her name was Star. I wanted a Golden because I fell in love with Shadow from "Homeward Bound". Star was my best friend, and we trained together in Canine Good Citizenry and agility. She could jump through hula hoops, over my arm, and she knew all sorts of tricks. I also love horses and used to spend summers and spring breaks on my cousin's farm in Apopka, Florida where she was the Barn Manager for a gal who rode in the Irish Olympics for the Equestrian Team. I had my own horse when I was younger, but we sadly had to sell her when my mother passed away when I was 9 years old. I've had dogs and cats off and on my entire life, but sadly, I just recently moved to Oregon and do not have any pets of my own right now for a few reasons: The first is that I'm working diligently to get established in Oregon and currently have a Mon-Thursday schedule with the City of Salem that requires me to be away from home for over 10 hours a day. Second, my roommate has a sick and aging cat who is not doing well, and we do not want to stress him out by adding pets to the house right now. Hopefully, my roommate will be able to reconsider when things change, but for now, Bok Choy (and his comfort) is our main priority at my house. Third, I'm hoping to move my Dad out to Oregon within the next 3 years, but for now, he is living alone as a retiree in Georgia, where I grew up. He is very attached to our dog Hank, and even though I'm definitely Hank's favorite person, I couldn't stand the thought of separating those two because I felt like my Dad needs Hank more than I do as Hank is his reason to get up in the morning! I miss Hank more than words can express, but I think we made the right call because Hank does not like being alone, and Dad can accommodate this as he is retired whereas I am in the main career years. I have previous dog sitting experience, but sadly, my identity was hacked, and I lost all of my photos on my Facebook account and lost many of my contacts through my old email address that I lost access to. I have also done amateur dog training and hope to get a professional certification in dog training within the next 12 months. I am happy to house sit during my work week if you only have cats that need tending after office hours. I won't be accepting house sitting for dogs unless there is an understanding of my work schedule and the dog has access to a doggy door and a yard or puppy pads are used during the day. I would highly recommend finding a sitter who can be with your dog during the business day instead of requesting me if you have dogs and need assistance during my work week (Mon-Thurs). This is a Side Hustle for me, but it also the more meaningful of my jobs because I love animals more than anything else in this world, and being around them is good for my mental health. I currently work Monday-Thursday until 4:30PM so it will be difficult for me to provide overnight dog sitting until Thursday after 5 PM unless your dog has access to a doggy door or puppy pads. I would highly recommend finding a sitter who does this full time if you need assistance during business hours Monday-Thursday. When I am at your house, your pet is my priority. If they need exercise or stimulation, we will make that happen. I will almost feel guilty for getting paid for it because it will literally be my pleasure. I will ask you to leave detailed instructions that will make my life easier and expect you to extend trust to me to do my job well. I understand it is difficult and that trust is earned and not freely given, but we need to have a clear discussion before you leave about what your expectations are so I can decide If I can meet those in a way that will not cause me undue anxiety. If you need someone after 5PM Mon-Thursday or anytime on the weekends, I am your sitter!

About: I love animals!! If you need me to check on other animals like reptiles, frogs, etc just let me know! I can feed other pets as well but I won't handle arachnids, sorry. I grew up with two medium sized dogs in my family home and we always took in our friends animals when they were on out of town. I'm not a certified trainer but since I grew up with animals, I know the basics. I don't mind doing small sessions of training reinforcement. Just let me know and I'll do my best! I don't do nail trimmings or administer medication via needle injection. I'm sorry, needles freak me out so I'm not confident in administering medication through needle injection. I'm a tactile person so I love brushing dogs. I would love to brush your dog if you request it- just as long as it doesn't take me hours haha I work part time, working until 12pm Mon-Fri. I have an automatic feeder for my cats so they are fine with me being away for longer periods of time if necessary. I need exercise and miss dogs so I thought I would make a rover account and knock out two birds with one stone! I don't have any dogs, though I miss having them! I will watch my parents yellow lab from time to time while they are out of town for up to a week at a time. I love going on walks, playing, and lounging with them. I love a good buddy.

About: I have been to go to pet sitter in my neighborhood all of my life. I've dealt with one neighbor's dog in particular who is a difficult dog and requires medication. Pet care is always my number one priority because if someone was taking care of my dog, I would want the same level of care that I provide. I like to learn and also know the routine of the animal I'm watching to best fit their needs and learn or change when necessary.

About: I have had dogs since I was young all ranging from puppies to elderly dogs. I enjoy taking them on walks and taking good care of them! I am currently working part time so I have quite a bit of free time to ensure your pets are very well taken care of. I live in an apartment that is very dog friendly. There are 2 fenced in dog parks right outside of my apartment and lots of walking area and parks around me.

About: I recently trained my high energy border collie mix puppy and although he’s still a teenager, he’s turned out to be a calm, caring, and gentle pup. Most of my pet sitting care has been done for cats, but I have house sat for a family with a Newfoundland, so I have experience with large breeds. I also have cared for a smaller dog that has OCD and separation anxiety. Thanks to the research and dedication that went into puppy training, I’m well aware of what their body language is signaling, and how to adapt according to what they’re feeling. I work from home, so my schedule is flexible. My weekends are pretty flexible as well. Most of my plans are in the evenings (if I do have plans). I give my pets a predictable routine. The cats need a lot of attention as they’re very social. I take my pup to the dog park every couple of days, but I also tire him out through walks, herding games, and mental stimulation.

My pup unfortunately passed away last summer and I’m not ready to get on full time but would love to care for yours as I cared for her and give them the best experience while you’re away. I have 4 indoor cats that are taken care of by my family while I am on overnights. I love to spend quality time with the animals I care for and I make sure that I interact with them frequently such as playtime, treat time, feeding time, puzzles, relaxing time and walks if needed. During the meet and greet I try to get an idea of what the animals routine is from their owner so that I can make the transition as smooth as possible causing less anxiety and stress for the animals while they are in my care.

About: I’ve loved animals ever since I was small! My family fostered two pups before adopting two of our own, so I’ve been in a pretty busy household. We taught them basic training and gave them all the love in the world! I love dogs of all ages and sizes and I am extremely patient with any of their needs! About: I’m a lifelong dog lover and currently have three dogs of my own—a 10-year-old Husky, a 4-year-old Malamute, and a 5-year-old Golden Retriever. Caring for three large dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and needs has given me plenty of hands-on experience with walking, exercise, feeding, routines, and lots of attention. I’m especially comfortable handling larger, energetic breeds and understand that every dog has their own personality and pace. Whether your dog loves a long walk or just needs some fresh air and companionship, I’ll treat them with the same care and attention I give my own. I’m available throughout the week for walks and drop-in visits, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
