With over 15 years of experience owning, fostering, and providing care for a wide range of pets, I bring both passion and expertise to every interaction. Most recently, I worked as a Behavioral Consultant at a local Pet Hospital for four years before transitioning to in-home care services. Thanks to support from family, I have the flexibility to offer specialized, reliable pet care services. As a PSI (Pet Sitter International) Certified provider, I’m open for bookings and offer a variety of services tailored to pets of all sizes, types, and temperaments. While I’m not currently offering boarding, I’m happy to come to you and prioritize a clean, safe, and stimulating environment for your pet. About: I've been an animal lover as long as I can remember. When I was 9 years old, my Dad got me my first Golden Retriever for Valentine's Day 1998. Her name was Star. I wanted a Golden because I fell in love with Shadow from "Homeward Bound". Star was my best friend, and we trained together in Canine Good Citizenry and agility. She could jump through hula hoops, over my arm, and she knew all sorts of tricks. I also love horses and used to spend summers and spring breaks on my cousin's farm in Apopka, Florida where she was the Barn Manager for a gal who rode in the Irish Olympics for the Equestrian Team. I had my own horse when I was younger, but we sadly had to sell her when my mother passed away when I was 9 years old. I've had dogs and cats off and on my entire life, but sadly, I just recently moved to Oregon and do not have any pets of my own right now for a few reasons: The first is that I'm working diligently to get established in Oregon and currently have a Mon-Thursday schedule with the City of Salem that requires me to be away from home for over 10 hours a day. Second, my roommate has a sick and aging cat who is not doing well, and we do not want to stress him out by adding pets to the house right now. Hopefully, my roommate will be able to reconsider when things change, but for now, Bok Choy (and his comfort) is our main priority at my house. Third, I'm hoping to move my Dad out to Oregon within the next 3 years, but for now, he is living alone as a retiree in Georgia, where I grew up. He is very attached to our dog Hank, and even though I'm definitely Hank's favorite person, I couldn't stand the thought of separating those two because I felt like my Dad needs Hank more than I do as Hank is his reason to get up in the morning! I miss Hank more than words can express, but I think we made the right call because Hank does not like being alone, and Dad can accommodate this as he is retired whereas I am in the main career years. I have previous dog sitting experience, but sadly, my identity was hacked, and I lost all of my photos on my Facebook account and lost many of my contacts through my old email address that I lost access to. I have also done amateur dog training and hope to get a professional certification in dog training within the next 12 months. I am happy to house sit during my work week if you only have cats that need tending after office hours. I won't be accepting house sitting for dogs unless there is an understanding of my work schedule and the dog has access to a doggy door and a yard or puppy pads are used during the day. I would highly recommend finding a sitter who can be with your dog during the business day instead of requesting me if you have dogs and need assistance during my work week (Mon-Thurs). This is a Side Hustle for me, but it also the more meaningful of my jobs because I love animals more than anything else in this world, and being around them is good for my mental health. I currently work Monday-Thursday until 4:30PM so it will be difficult for me to provide overnight dog sitting until Thursday after 5 PM unless your dog has access to a doggy door or puppy pads. I would highly recommend finding a sitter who does this full time if you need assistance during business hours Monday-Thursday. When I am at your house, your pet is my priority. If they need exercise or stimulation, we will make that happen. I will almost feel guilty for getting paid for it because it will literally be my pleasure. I will ask you to leave detailed instructions that will make my life easier and expect you to extend trust to me to do my job well. I understand it is difficult and that trust is earned and not freely given, but we need to have a clear discussion before you leave about what your expectations are so I can decide If I can meet those in a way that will not cause me undue anxiety. If you need someone after 5PM Mon-Thursday or anytime on the weekends, I am your sitter!

About: I’ve had dogs since I was 5 and I’ve had a cat and turtle for 6 years and I’ve raised them and cared for them all I am free to provide care any time of the week daily or weekly. Considering I have 4 dogs I am used to walking, playing, feeding, bathing, etc. I am also a biology major and it is my dream to work with animals of all kinds. I walk my dogs 3 times a week they are all senior dogs so they can only handle so much on their joints. I also bathe and brush my dogs weekly.

About: I have a 5 year old cavalier King charles spaniel, and had dog before him. Since small I always wanted take care dogs and know I want try it . I work Sunday- Wednesday morning shift, I can alway change a day to have weekend off or I can board after work Wednesday thru sunday I’ll treat the pet the same way if there were mine too. I’ll treat them all the same how I treat my dog that how I’ll treat yours too

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was 8 but began house sitting when I turned 16. I have experienced taking care of dogs, cats , horses and even chickens. while looking after your fur babies they will be given excellent care as if they were my own. A love to photograph animals so with my care come a free mini photoshoot. With your permission of course! My 4 year old black lab absolutely loves to play with others. So if your pup needs a buddy to burn off some energy she’s your pup . I work 3 pm to 11:30pm but I’m free the rest of the time to do pop in or walks. If I’m staying at your house I bring in my own food and drink. And stay with your fur baby the whole time. If I’m in home sitting I do a minimum of 3 30 min walks a day. 1 before work ,after work and before bed. And depending on your fur babies energy I’ll add in extra play time if needed. I’m stuck to strictly feeding schedules so whatever time you have them eat I’ll make sure to do they same. To help keep them in their normal routine. If I’m doing a drop in I can go walks /runs for about an hour unless you need me to take them for more time.

About: I have had dogs since I was young all ranging from puppies to elderly dogs. I enjoy taking them on walks and taking good care of them! I am currently working part time so I have quite a bit of free time to ensure your pets are very well taken care of. I live in an apartment that is very dog friendly. There are 2 fenced in dog parks right outside of my apartment and lots of walking area and parks around me.

About: I’ve pet sat for over 10 years for friends & family. I’d love to care for yours. I have two tabby’s who are well trained and have been around dogs in the past. My pup unfortunately passed away last summer and I’m not ready to get on full time but would love to care for yours as I cared for her and give them the best experience while you’re away. I have the weekend free, Columbia and I tend to go on hikes and or at the park. During the week, I go home directly to let my own dog out to the bathroom. I will follow any instructions following your pet. I understand how important consistency is. We have a side yard for playing, potty breaks or sunbathing.

About: I love animals!!! I’ve cared for dogs, cats, reptiles, and even horses for over 10 years. Choose me to care for your special little critter or critters, I’ll treat them like my own Most days I wake up early in the morning and let my cat inside and feed him and give him some love before I leave for school or lift. When I get back he’s usually waiting for me outside the door so we can hangout! After we’re done hanging out I clean his litter box and make sure he has his gourmet dinner that he has everyday. I take care of my cat spooky everyday by feeding him, cleaning his litter box often, deshedding him, and giving him lots of love and cuddles, and I can do the same for your critters. I care about the safety of your critters and will always be aware cautious of my surroundings while walking and taking care of them.

About: I have been walking dogs weekly through Rover for 1 year. I’ve cared for my own pets since I was a kid, I have 2 dogs and 8 cats currently. I also occasionally pet sit for my parents when they’re out of town. I’m a stay at home mom so I have a very open schedule to come care for your pet! I like to stay very active so walking and home visits are perfect for me. My kids will join me on my walks and visits, they are respectful and love animals as well! The safety of your fur baby is most important! As a fur mama and human mama myself, I’ll make sure they’re well taken care of!

About: Multiple years of pet experience. Grew up in a home with two veterinarians and worked in a veterinary hospital throughout college. Hopefully never needed, but I have access to emergency veterinary care if it was ever needed. I am currently working full time, however my schedule allows me to be home for the majority of the day. My husband is currently working from home remotely to assist me in pet care services when I am at the office in the evenings. I live in a quite neighborhood with a fenced back yard. I have two friendly dogs that have engaged with a variety of breeds and sizes. Both pets are spayed and crate trained. Open to pet sitting from my home, dropping by yours, or just going out for some exercise.

About: I am extremely detailed oriented and very observant. I sense when animals need something different and will always tend to their needs first over anything. I can chill with them or play forever and anything in between. I work 5-6 days a week with and average of 6 hours a day. My schedule is pretty set to only working mornings and being off work around 11am to 12:30pm. After that I am free and available! I am more than able to be in your home and you never question that I was there. I leave places cleaner than what I found them and make sure all the boxes were checked that are expected of me.

About: Since 2021 I’ve fostered 2 cats and 2 dogs and have found them each their perfect forever homes. I love animals and love making sure that they’re cared for and taken care of. Trails, parks, and beaches, oh my! Oh the places that your little furry friend and I will go 🐶🐾🦮 As a veteran enrolled in law school full time, I understand the importance of time management and responsibility. Most of my availability will be during the week after class and in between studying, with more time typically opening up on the weekends. I am unable to care for pets in my apartment complex but I will make sure that your pet continues to feel right at home in their own environment. I’ll cater my care to any dietary or medical treatments and medications and will ensure that they are properly exercised.

I currently own German Shepherds as well as two chinchillas, so I understand the importance of species-specific care, structure, enrichment, and maintaining a safe environment. I have experience with large breeds, reactive dogs, cats, and small animals, so I understand the importance of reading body language, respecting boundaries, and maintaining calm, controlled interactions. I follow all owner instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, medication routines, crate rotations, leash handling, and household rules. I prioritize secure handling during walks and visits, double-check doors, gates, harnesses, and crates, and always aim to create a calm and positive environment for pets. About: I've been working extensively and training with dogs, cats, and horses for over a decade! I love animals of all sizes. I worked with a professional trainer to train my first dog at age 15. I've carried those skills over to train my current adventure cat, and my friends' cats and dogs. I'm comfortable getting messy whether it's giving baths or hiking in the mud and rain. I'm a student, so I love working with animals in between study time and classes. I also love hiking, hammocking, and backpacking outdoors with friends and my adventure cat, Chicken Nugget 🐅 I'm a big animal lover! I treat everyone's cats and dogs like my own. I can be flexible with scheduling and I'm always attentive to your pet's wants and needs.

About: I live in Salem but drive up to Portland several times a week. So If you live in the Portland or Salem area or anywhere in between, I am happy to help you with your pet sitting needs. I grew up with cats, dogs, and chickens. My earliest pet care was at the age of 10 taking care of my neighbors dogs and cats while they were gone. In my adult life, I've had one cat and 4 dogs. My current dog is a Standard Poodle named Percy. He's a huge love! I know your pets are your heart, too. I strive to give your pets my best love and care while you're gone, just like I would want someone to give Percy! I currently work from home, so I can pop in or stay over easily. I would hope that your pet is able to walk with Percy, because he would hate to be left out of the fun. Each pet is unique and will be respected. Grouchy kitty under the bed?? About: I’ve grown up with animals my whole life small and large breeds. My love for animals is constantly growing and I even plan on getting into the medical field. I have worked in vet medicine for a little over 3 years and love my job more than anything. I have 2 cats of my own and have grown up with dogs as well! I’m currently going into my junior year of college and just moved up here to Salem. I am a student athlete and have flexible time in my schedule.
