About: I love dogs! I currently have 2 dogs of my own a 5 yr old Irish Setter that I raised from a puppy, as well as a senior German Shepherd so I have experience caring for dogs of all ages. Open availability to care for your pets this summer. I'm looking to make some extra cash for law school and have fun playing with pups! I'm a responsible and trustworthy individual (with past law enforcement experience) who will take great care of your pets and ensure their happiness and safety while in my care.
“Heather and her husband were great to work with! They were quickly able to fit us in for a doctors appointment my mom had. Chance was happy to go with her husband and came back one happy and tired pup. I definitely recommend them and will be using them again!”

“Kaitlin is wonderful with my dog. I can tell Millie is a fan and she gets so excited when Kaitlin shows up for her walks. It really is great I can trust someone to care for me girly while I’m at work.”

“Kayla was fantastic with walking our dog Blue! You can tell she genuinely loves animals and Blue instantly bones with her! She is very friendly and even took cute photos and sent them to me during their walking adventure. I would highly recommend her services for anyone needing pet services. We will definitely use her again! ❤️”

“Thank you, Erin! Amazing job with walking my pup. Always on time. Very effective communication, with me and my dog. Made me feel very comfortable with pick ups and drop offs. Flexible if we had to use a different pick up method. My dog tested Erin and Erin did great to keep my dog focused. She played with her and used our commands. Absolutely would book again. Amazing. Thank you!!”

About: I’ve taken care of cats for as long as I can remember. Dogs I began caring for when I was 8years old. I started with family dogs and when I was old enough I volunteered at the humane society. As a 4-Her of 10 years, I showed rabbits and goats as well as my cat. I have 2 cats of my own and a pit bull who my husband and I rescued from the humane society in 2017. My husband and I participated in a dog training course at Petco where I worked for 2 and a half years and have continued to engage our Lucy In training on a daily basis. At Petco, I loved being able to help customers find what they want/need to make their furr baby(s) happy. I also graduated from the veterinary assistant program at lbcc May 2018. I am a full time a stay at home mom so my schedule is pretty flexible. I will likely almost always have my 2 kiddos with me who are, 2 and 4 years old. I do not currently offer any services in my own home. When I walk your fur baby, it’ll be around your neighborhood. If you prefer your baby get a walk in the park, I’m happy to accommodate that request for an additional fee.
About: Hello! My name is Jen and I am a huge dog lover. Not only have I owned my own personal dogs for over 9 years now, but I also volunteer on my off time for a non profit dog rescue and I have also walked dogs at my local shelter in my free time. I have a great amount of experience when it comes to dogs and cats from my own personal pets, to the volunteer work I do. I have cared for puppies, seniors and dogs of all different sizes/breeds. Attention to detail and being well organized and routined is how I live my life, and that is what I will provide for your animals, along with lots of love! With that said, I always make sure that my dogs and dogs that are in my care are being well taken care of. Dogs in my care will always be under supervision, while in the house and outside, other than while I am at work. While I am at work, I have two spare bedrooms that your dog can hang out in! I will also pay special attention to any instructions given on the care of your dogs. (Food, medicine, exercise requirements etc) I have a fully fenced back yard that not only my dogs love, but I'm sure yours will too. Again with direct supervision your dog and I can hang outside and enjoy the sunshine or play fetch, whatever they may like! I also love near a city park where I can walk your dog for their daily exercise. My husband and I work full time during the week, but we both work no more than one mile from our home, we also have a doggie camera inside our house to check in on our home while your dog is there. I live and work in a very central location in Salem, it is very convenient for drop ins and walks and is also a very convenient location for dropping off dogs for any dog boarding and day care that is requested. I would love the opportunity to help you with your precious dogs and/or cats! ***For dog boarding, most times I will ask for a meet and greet before booking the stay. I want to ensure your dog is comfortable in my home with my two senior dogs. ***For cats, I offer only drop in visits
About: Hi! I am Blue and I am new to Salem! I have taken care of dogs and cats of all kinds since I was around 10 years old! I grew up with cats and dogs since I was a baby and this led me to develop an absolute love for animals of all kinds! To this day, I absolutely adore being around animals, especially cats and dogs, and really enjoy taking care of them. I have taken care of my family’s, neighbor’s, teacher’s and other pets for 13 years now and have loved every minute of it! I have experience taking care of a wide variety of dogs, from my family’s extremely energetic 110 pound Boxer and Pitbull mix when I was a kid, to Chihuahuas who are very timid and just want to relax. As for cats, I have worked with many different kinds and temperaments of cats since I can remember. From very playful and attention seeking kittens, to easily scared and calm adult cats, and honestly everything in between! I pride myself on being able to support and care for cats and dogs of all different kinds and temperaments and know that this is due to my commitment to best attune my care giving style to each individual pet. Additionally, I worked at a Veterinarian’s office as a Receptionist for a period of time and gained even more experience interacting with, handling, and generally taking care of a wide spectrum of cats and dogs. I can’t wait to meet your furry friend and get to know about them and their care needs! While you’re away, my number one goal is to give them all of the love and care that you as the pet parent usually provide, and help them feel taken care of and right at home! I am currently working part time from home so I have plenty of time to take care of, give attention to, and play with your fur babies! I take care of my cat, Twig, daily and would love to add your pets to that daily care routine. I am regularly available morning to evening 7 days a week! I have lots of previous experience taking care of client’s pets in their homes! Since I was around 10 years old, my neighbors, family friends, and others trusted and relied on me to come check on their animals, feed them, walk them if desired, play with them, and give them love and attention. Starting at 12 years old, I began providing overnight house sitting and pet sitting services. I have done many different styles of in-home pet care at this point. I have done jobs from a 14+ day stay in a client's house where I was taking full care of their cat and dog, to doing a much less involved job of 3 times a day checking in and caring for an older cat for a week.
About: Hi, my name is Mathew! I know how important pets are to their humans. In addition to the reviews on this website, I can provide contact info to prior and current clients as references, available on request. About: I started on Rover back in 2018 boarding dogs in my home! Now I'm available to do drop in visits for dogs and cats. I have a cat of my own named Peach who is 5 now. Dogs tend to really like me which is a plus! I love playing and taking dogs for walks. I work at a bank full time but looking to make extra money in my free time. I'm mostly available evenings after work and weekends! I work Mon-Fri but I'm available in the evenings after 5:30 pm. I have open availability on weekends at the moment. I have a lot of experience watching dogs in the past, whether it be for friends/family or clients on Rover. One thing I do know it that I enjoy playing with and watching dogs! When it comes to taking care of your dog in your own home, I think it best to tell me what needs to be done during the visit. Where food/supplies are, if they need to be put in a kennel before I leave, what their habits are like and what to look out for if anything. Everyone has different rules when it comes to their animals and I will be 100% respectful of your home and property.
About: I have taken care dogs of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. I am patient and engage with each pet at their speed. Building trust and respect are my top values when caring for pets. As a volunteer at the Oregon Humane Society, I understand the unique needs that each pet has and am eager to meet them. I work a part-time job with 6–8 hour shifts on select days. I keep my availability on Rover up to date and will always communicate in advance if a scheduling conflict arises. I’ve cared for pets in a variety of housing situations. I take my time to understand what precautions I can take to keep all pets safe.

About: Know what it's like to own dogs since childhood. Tell me what they love, like, and hate. Love to bring gifts for the dog(s) anytime. Also been a great house sitter and pet sitter for my mother in the past when she visited grandkids for a week in California. As far in advance as possible since I also do crowd management seasonally but haven't worked since April 1st. P.S. A page from the daily calendar for Life Hacks encouraged me to join and I do know someone on Rover.com named Stephen. He's a dog sitter, owner, and trainer. I live in a condo on the ground level with a patio and a view of Mill Creek. I'd prefer to house and/or pet watch at your place.

“Whitney is the absolute best!! After just 2 days of walking Mila, Mila would wait by door around the time she knows she’s coming and wait for her and she gets so excited when she hears her car pull up. She’s amazing with her so patient and sweet will definitely recommend her!!”

“Grady lloves her! Sweet, hard working, and dedicated young lady. Very communicative which I greatly appreciated. Also gets the CUTEST stinkin' pictures ever! (Photography future?? ;) ) Would definitely book with her again.”

“Astrid took great care of my pups and helped them be secure and happy while I was out of town. When I’m in town and she walks them, I can tell by the way they greet her what a big treat it is for them to spend time with her. I appreciate Astrid’s sensitivity and creativity and skill in interacting with my two dogs who are quite different from one another in energy level so that they both get their needs met for activity and exercise and affection.”
