“We threw a small superbowl party at our home. Floki does not do well with guests stopping by, so we searched for near by dog sitter to watch him for the evening. We met with Jordan a couple weeks prior to dropping Floki off. He did well with him and his son. Jordan sent pictures throughout his, putting our mind to ease! The picture of our dog with his head on his son's lap was PERFECT! Like I said, he doesn't do well with strangers stopping by so this made both of us very happy receiving this photo! Floki is a very energetic dog and he was tired when he came home. Jordan took Floki for 2 long walks which was not expected but appreciated! He went above and beyond previous sitters!!! So grateful to have found him! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Oh and another thing that we must mention, he got along with the other dogs he cared for; out of the norm for Floki! “Candace is a wonderful dog mom!! From the moment we met I knew Maizie would be in good hands. Candace is warm and nurturing but also aware of the mischief puppies can get into. She sent me lots of photos throughout the day and kept me updated on Maizie’s progress. Maizie had fun meeting the other animals around the farm. About: I’ve taken care of cats for as long as I can remember. Dogs I began caring for when I was 8years old. I started with family dogs and when I was old enough I volunteered at the humane society. As a 4-Her of 10 years, I showed rabbits and goats as well as my cat. I have 2 cats of my own and a pit bull who my husband and I rescued from the humane society in 2017. My husband and I participated in a dog training course at Petco where I worked for 2 and a half years and have continued to engage our Lucy In training on a daily basis. At Petco, I loved being able to help customers find what they want/need to make their furr baby(s) happy. I also graduated from the veterinary assistant program at lbcc May 2018. I am a full time a stay at home mom so my schedule is pretty flexible. I will likely almost always have my 2 kiddos with me who are, 2 and 4 years old. Not only have I owned my own personal dogs for over 9 years now, but I also volunteer on my off time for a non profit dog rescue and I have also walked dogs at my local shelter in my free time. I have a great amount of experience when it comes to dogs and cats from my own personal pets, to the volunteer work I do. I have cared for puppies, seniors and dogs of all different sizes/breeds. Attention to detail and being well organized and routined is how I live my life, and that is what I will provide for your animals, along with lots of love! Dogs in my care will always be under supervision, while in the house and outside, other than while I am at work. While I am at work, I have two spare bedrooms that your dog can hang out in! (Food, medicine, exercise requirements etc) I have a fully fenced back yard that not only my dogs love, but I'm sure yours will too. Again with direct supervision your dog and I can hang outside and enjoy the sunshine or play fetch, whatever they may like! I also love near a city park where I can walk your dog for their daily exercise. My husband and I work full time during the week, but we both work no more than one mile from our home, we also have a doggie camera inside our house to check in on our home while your dog is there. I live and work in a very central location in Salem, it is very convenient for drop ins and walks and is also a very convenient location for dropping off dogs for any dog boarding and day care that is requested. I work Mon-Fri but I'm available in the evenings after 5:30 pm. I have open availability on weekends at the moment. I have a lot of experience watching dogs in the past, whether it be for friends/family or clients on Rover. Recently, I've been doing drop ins for cats and I really enjoy it! When it comes to taking care of your pet in your own home, I think it best to tell me what needs to be done during the visit. Where food/supplies are, if they need to be put in a kennel before I leave, what their habits are like and what to look out for if anything. Everyone has different rules when it comes to their animals and I will be 100% respectful of your home and property.

About: I have had 4 dogs and 7 cats throughout my life and have held a special connection with each of them! I have been taking care of pets since I was very young and have experience walking dogs and taking care of cats, both my pets and other peoples pets! It fits easily and naturally into my weekly schedule! I am a student at Willamette University but while on summer break, I have a lot of free time outside of my part-time job. About: I have been a pet caregiver since I was a very small girl. I have helped Mama's deliver babies when needed. I have even done mouth to mouth and chest compressions on new horns a few times when needed. I have a huge heart for pets and animals of all kinds. My family of pets are trained either to alert me to go potty, use a box or crate themselves. I am able to give medication as needed and bathe if needed. My children are PET TRAINED. I watch for cues to hunger or need to potty. I feed and walk my pets or clients pets. When they need bathed I handle that as well. Medications in my house are no problem at all as over the years I’ve learned a lot about injectable and oral medications. I’m not the master for certain but I try my best to be your pets next best friend while I am with them.
About: I’ve pet sat for over 10 years for friends & family. I’d love to care for yours. I have two tabby’s who are well trained and have been around dogs in the past. My pup unfortunately passed away last summer and I’m not ready to get on full time but would love to care for yours as I cared for her and give them the best experience while you’re away. I have the weekend free, Columbia and I tend to go on hikes and or at the park. During the week, I go home directly to let my own dog out to the bathroom. I will follow any instructions following your pet. I understand how important consistency is. We have a side yard for playing, potty breaks or sunbathing.

“We threw a small superbowl party at our home. Floki does not do well with guests stopping by, so we searched for near by dog sitter to watch him for the evening. We met with Jordan a couple weeks prior to dropping Floki off. He did well with him and his son. Jordan sent pictures throughout his, putting our mind to ease! The picture of our dog with his head on his son's lap was PERFECT! Like I said, he doesn't do well with strangers stopping by so this made both of us very happy receiving this photo! Floki is a very energetic dog and he was tired when he came home. Jordan took Floki for 2 long walks which was not expected but appreciated! He went above and beyond previous sitters!!! So grateful to have found him! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Oh and another thing that we must mention, he got along with the other dogs he cared for; out of the norm for Floki! Ginny can have some separation anxiety with me and my partner, but the consistent updates (and little details about how she was doing, especially with crate time) really helped ease my mind. Ginny clearly had the best time. She got comfortable with Dezarae’s dogs quickly and loved being part of their routine. We also booked pretty last minute and she was very flexible and accommodating.
