About: Hi, I’m Kira! I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember, and I’ve always had a bit of a knack for making friends with them. 😂 I have experience caring for dogs and cats of all sizes, along with birds, chickens, chinchillas, turtles, frogs, fish, and lizards. Basically, if it has four legs, feathers, scales, or a tail, there’s a pretty good chance I’ve cared for one! I currently have an 11-year-old Husky who is my world, and I’ve always been the go-to person for friends and family when they need someone they trust with their pets. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs. Whether your dog needs a walk and some exercise, a potty break, playtime, or simply some extra love and attention, I’ll treat them like they’re my own. When caring for pets in their home, I treat their space and routines with the same respect and care I would expect in my own home. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 16 whenever my family or friends go out of town I’m always the go to person for pet sitting following each direction from feeding bathing to night time. I also send out updates so no worry’s. I am currently available Monday through Sunday, offering flexible scheduling for walks, drop-ins, and overnight care, including weekends, holidays, and last-minute requests when needed , but if plans change please let me know 2 or 3 days before thank you When caring for pets, their safety is always my top priority. I make sure doors, gates, and fences are secure before letting pets outside, keep harmful foods and household items out of reach, and closely monitor their behavior for any signs of stress or illness. I follow each pet’s routine and the owner’s instructions carefully, provide plenty of supervision, and create a calm, safe environment where every pet feels comfortable, loved, and well cared for.

About: I have grown up being surrounded by dogs! My dad always had dogs in our home. I raised my pitbull/lab mixed breed dog Nala from when I was the age of Ten until she passed away when I was 21 years old. She taught me a lot about being a pet owner as well as a person! She was my best friend🤍 I am a very active, responsible, and empathetic person! I enjoy being outdoors going on long walks, hikes, and runs! I’m always down for a furry friend to tag along :) My current work schedule is 6am to 6pm Sunday through Tuesday :) I am available throughout the week on my days off for some pet care! I am respectful of other spaces! I like to stay occupied and am willing to go on adventures with your fur baby! I am full of love to give for animals. My full time job is caregiving so I’m the kind of person to place others needs before my own, but I do prioritize my health so I’m always in tip top shape for whoever/whatever needs my attention!

About: I am a remote worker with extra time available. I grew up with labs and Shih Tzus as well as cats. I've been dog sitting for the past 8 years and have done volunteer camps at the Willamette Humane Society. I am pretty flexible this summer for house sitting, dog walking, or drop ins. I can feed, walk, play with, cuddle, or even bathe your dog! I'm an animal lover and would be fine with other pets at the house, too. Watching and caring for dogs, cats or other pets is something I love to do on its own, aside from it being a "job." This would be a great way to spend my time. I am currently working part time, so will have time most days for drop ins, walks, etc. I am also available some weekends, as well. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats at home. If your pet is friendly, then it could be an option for them to come stay at my house.

About: I've been an animal lover as long as I can remember. When I was 9 years old, my Dad got me my first Golden Retriever for Valentine's Day 1998. Her name was Star. I wanted a Golden because I fell in love with Shadow from "Homeward Bound". Star was my best friend, and we trained together in Canine Good Citizenry and agility. She could jump through hula hoops, over my arm, and she knew all sorts of tricks. I also love horses and used to spend summers and spring breaks on my cousin's farm in Apopka, Florida where she was the Barn Manager for a gal who rode in the Irish Olympics for the Equestrian Team. I had my own horse when I was younger, but we sadly had to sell her when my mother passed away when I was 9 years old. I've had dogs and cats off and on my entire life, but sadly, I just recently moved to Oregon and do not have any pets of my own right now for a few reasons: The first is that I'm working diligently to get established in Oregon and currently have a Mon-Thursday schedule with the City of Salem that requires me to be away from home for over 10 hours a day. Second, my roommate has a sick and aging cat who is not doing well, and we do not want to stress him out by adding pets to the house right now. Hopefully, my roommate will be able to reconsider when things change, but for now, Bok Choy (and his comfort) is our main priority at my house. Third, I'm hoping to move my Dad out to Oregon within the next 3 years, but for now, he is living alone as a retiree in Georgia, where I grew up. He is very attached to our dog Hank, and even though I'm definitely Hank's favorite person, I couldn't stand the thought of separating those two because I felt like my Dad needs Hank more than I do as Hank is his reason to get up in the morning! I miss Hank more than words can express, but I think we made the right call because Hank does not like being alone, and Dad can accommodate this as he is retired whereas I am in the main career years. I have previous dog sitting experience, but sadly, my identity was hacked, and I lost all of my photos on my Facebook account and lost many of my contacts through my old email address that I lost access to. I have also done amateur dog training and hope to get a professional certification in dog training within the next 12 months. I am happy to house sit during my work week if you only have cats that need tending after office hours. I won't be accepting house sitting for dogs unless there is an understanding of my work schedule and the dog has access to a doggy door and a yard or puppy pads are used during the day. I would highly recommend finding a sitter who can be with your dog during the business day instead of requesting me if you have dogs and need assistance during my work week (Mon-Thurs). This is a Side Hustle for me, but it also the more meaningful of my jobs because I love animals more than anything else in this world, and being around them is good for my mental health. I currently work Monday-Thursday until 4:30PM so it will be difficult for me to provide overnight dog sitting until Thursday after 5 PM unless your dog has access to a doggy door or puppy pads. I would highly recommend finding a sitter who does this full time if you need assistance during business hours Monday-Thursday. When I am at your house, your pet is my priority. If they need exercise or stimulation, we will make that happen. I will almost feel guilty for getting paid for it because it will literally be my pleasure. I will ask you to leave detailed instructions that will make my life easier and expect you to extend trust to me to do my job well. I understand it is difficult and that trust is earned and not freely given, but we need to have a clear discussion before you leave about what your expectations are so I can decide If I can meet those in a way that will not cause me undue anxiety. If you need someone after 5PM Mon-Thursday or anytime on the weekends, I am your sitter!

About: I’ve taken care of multiple people dogs, cats and homes. I can make multiple daily stops by homes, exercise dogs, play with cats and stay overnight. I am a college student full time at Western Oregon University in Monmouth. I can send my schedule if requested but I’m usually on campus for 2-5 hours Monday-Thursday. I also live in South Salem and commute daily so travel within the area is no problem. I have a fenced yard for my dog and with supervision my cats. I don’t mind any dog lifestyle. I used to have a golden retriever with hip dysplasia and arthritis from 2 years old as well as wild and calm cats.

About: While I don't have a dog of my own at this time (due to both of my cats being absolutely terrified of them), I grew up with them and absolutely love and adore them. Every time I go to the Saturday Market I make it a point to pet and love on (with permission) as many dogs as I can. Whenever I visit friends or family with dogs, I'm most likely to be found on the floor next to them to ensure I get the most snuggle time as the dog is comfortable with. I've taken care of animals, including my own, for my whole life. I have my own medically complex cats that I take care of daily who each have their own medication and food plans, along with frequently watching my roommates cats when they are out for work. I've pet-sat for a friend for a number of years before I moving out of that area, which included both cat and dog care. I have loads of experience orally medicating cats and keeping track of difficult food plans. I've walked numerous dogs over the years and love getting to pet and interact with them. I left my job in April of 2026 and Rover is the first thing I have explored since then. While I have ongoing obligations on Wednesday and Friday evenings, the timing is flexible. I have lots of time to ensure fulfilling visits with your pets, making sure I can give them everything they need while I am there. I like to chat with folk about their animals ahead of time and learn some of their needs and habits. If they are shy - where do they prefer to hide and how best can I help make them comfortable with my presence. If they are abundantly friendly - how can I best spend my time giving them the right kind of care and affection to meet their needs (I have a cat who was wants to be next to/touching a human at nearly all times - having someone drop in for 20 minutes for food and some affection would NOT be enough for her). Every animal is unique, and our care should reflect that. I also make sure to clean/tidy up the area while I'm there and try to leave it just as clean, if not more, than it was when I got there.

About: I’m experienced in caring for pets of all sizes and temperaments. I love walking dogs, teaching them new tricks and words and most of all play time outdoors. I will give them all the love while you’re away. I am a homemaker with free availability, I am usually home meal prepping or tending to the garden. I am flexible with schedules and routines to fit your needs. I have a home with a large fenced yard in NW Albany. I have two doodles in my home. We spend a lot of time outdoors especially in the morning. Lots of cuddles, playtime, and treats are shared and given throughout the day.

About: I have been to go to pet sitter in my neighborhood all of my life. I've dealt with one neighbor's dog in particular who is a difficult dog and requires medication. Pet care is always my number one priority because if someone was taking care of my dog, I would want the same level of care that I provide. Currently, I share my home with my sweet pup, Xena. I’m patient, attentive, and quick to adapt to each pet’s unique needs. I have strong knowledge of dog training, behavior, and wellness, and I’m comfortable caring for dogs with medical needs or special quirks. Whether it’s playtime, walks, cuddles, or structured care, your dog will be in loving, capable hands with me. I currently work full time but I live very close to my work so I am home at lunch time to check on things and give a potty break. I have no long commute or traffic to worry about. On the weekends, I stay in the area or take pups out for hikes! Boarding: To introduce, your pup will have an entire room gated off with a baby gate to acclimate to the new environment. Then, your pup will be welcomed to explore the home.

About: I recently trained my high energy border collie mix puppy and although he’s still a teenager, he’s turned out to be a calm, caring, and gentle pup. Most of my pet sitting care has been done for cats, but I have house sat for a family with a Newfoundland, so I have experience with large breeds. I also have cared for a smaller dog that has OCD and separation anxiety. Thanks to the research and dedication that went into puppy training, I’m well aware of what their body language is signaling, and how to adapt according to what they’re feeling. I work from home, so my schedule is flexible. My weekends are pretty flexible as well. Most of my plans are in the evenings (if I do have plans). I give my pets a predictable routine. The cats need a lot of attention as they’re very social. I take my pup to the dog park every couple of days, but I also tire him out through walks, herding games, and mental stimulation.

About: I have fostered near 2 dozen cats and dogs, raised 2 flocks of chickens, 3 rabbits, countless bugs and snakes, and a crow named Carl. I have experience in calming down scared dogs, and gaining trust with them. I have no issue hiding/feeding medicine to all kinds of animals, as well as cleaning up after them. Walking long distances is no problem for me. I'm free most of the time this summer, I'm available any time you need me. All you need to do is ask, and I'll fit your pet into my schedule. I have no problem learning the rules of your house and pets, we can always discuss these beforehand! I live in a clean household with no access for pets to get into trash or any chemicals. My street is very safe for walking, I take my small dog out for a walk every single day on it.
