“This is the first time I've utilized a pet sitter from Rover and we had an amazing experience. Aoife came over and met the dogs and got the lay of the land. We did a backyard introduction and my dogs didn't even bark at her. We showed her around and just overall had a great feeling about leaving our dogs (and chickens) with her. Off we went to the overwhelming heat of California for 9 days. She was communicative and reassured us while we were gone. We all know... the real test comes when you get home. Well she passed with flying colors. The house was in maybe a little better condition than we left it, chickens all alive, houseplants all alive, dogs exercised and ready to relax after an initial manic hello. I'm telling you, I even think my dogs may be better behaved than we left them. We've had dog sitters where we come home and have to retrain some things but nothing was amiss. I cannot recommend her highly enough. We already have her booked again! I want to note that she took care of two dogs that both have some additional needs. Our German Shephard needs her food soaked and our Pit Bull takes pills. Aoife took care of all of this without any problem.”

“In short, Kate went Above and Beyond for us - and Rio! You Definitely cannot go wrong with her!! Two neighbors have already asked for her contact information, since they saw her walking our dog multiple times a day, every day while I was gone! (One neighbor even texted WHILE I was gone!) And they don’t even know the Whole Story!! For detailed perspective, Kate accepted our unconventional dog sitter need - which was caring for our 2 year old male Collie so I could go help my 95-year old mother pack for a move… However, the unconventional part was that my husband would be home! But, due to some medical issues, he couldn’t handle our dog’s care. When Kate met us, she suggested arriving the night before my departure. We agreed. When she arrived, she immediately began helping with Rio, who instantly loved her! By the time I left for the airport the next morning, everything and everyone, furry and human, were under control. Kate introduced Rio to early morning walks, instead of just being let out in our Invisibly-Fenced yard… he was Thrilled! She also carefully prepared Rio’s food, following a plan to transition him to a special kibble for food allergy challenges. She even got him to eat WITHOUT being hand-fed (long story!) - and sent photo evidence! Everything seemed to be going fine - UNTIL my husband failed to follow his medication instructions! After a scary night-on only the 2nd night I was gone!- my husband ended up in the hospital! Kate proved what a caring and compassionate person she is by her response to this crisis. Her texts, calls, and overall communication, helped me rally the family and to get my husband the help he needed! Additionally, once my husband got to the hospital, Kate stayed on to care for our dog, which allowed me to continue my trip - helping my elderly mother pack and prepare to move. Kate even made time to do a lot of extra things to help my return go smoothly - like cleaning, organizing, laundry, cooking and baking! After everything that happened, Kate even says that she’s willing to sit for us again!! Kate is a gem - an angel! - an amazing human! (Or any superlative of your choice!) and provided unparalleled love and stability to our dog - and our family - through a challenging time! If you read this whole review, you’ll probably understand that you literally CANNOT go wrong by hiring this Amazing Woman!”

About: I have a fenced yard, love to walk the animal also, love to give them lots of love when your away. You will not have any worries with me, please feel free to come by and check out my house and so you can feel good about leaving your family pet . I have no children, and no other pets right now. I have had animals all my life, from horses to cats, dogs and birds. I only ask that your family pet is house broke, and no separation issuses. About: I have all kinds of animals my whole life including dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, hamsters, cattle and pigs. I am currently going to Linn-Benton studying animal science. I am currently going to school in the early afternoons Monday-Thursday so I have plenty of time to care for your babies afternoons, nights, and early mornings. I have a fully fenced yard for your dogs to play in. I have access to a crate if necessary or required. I also have a spayed female dog to keep them company.
