About: Hi! I’ve been pet sitting and had my own dog for many years. Now, I have experience from drop-in visits to extended overnight stays, with many different types of needs. I’m dedicated to caring for a pet the same way their owner would and look forward to spending time with animals. I work from home most days and can accommodate a flexible potty schedule and activity level. I enjoy taking breaks to spend with pets, to get outside or tuck in on the sofa! I have an enclosed garden and large, unfenced yard. We are well back from the main road so pets are welcome to explore the neighborhood.

The weather was horribly uncooperative - freezing, raining, windy, muddy and ongoing for all but 1 day. Marielle showed up on time very early in the morning with an enthusiastic greeting to my pup and no matter how many instructions I may have burdened her with, she took everything in with a smile. She is highly knowledgeable about dogs of all ages, patient, kind and energetic. She took my dog out for hours in all conditions without complaint! Our cabin was tiny, and she came for 4 -5 hour drop in visits. She is very comfortable to be around and my dog loved her! What more could you ask for?? Highly recommend!”
About: Aloha, My name is Sydney, I’m from Vermont originally and moved to Hawaii 5 years ago. I have been taking care of my own family pets since I was a child, and have been dog walking and pet sitting since high school. I love animals and since I don’t have any of my own here with me in Hawaii, I love being able to pet sit. Since I graduated college a few years ago I’ve had a pretty flexible job in the event industry where I often have a lot of spare time not working. House and pet sitting has given me a great opportunity to use this time hanging out with animals and getting some supplemental income while I’m doing it. I live in Waialua but am able to travel most places on the island. Please reach out if you have any questions! I have a very flexible job where I often have weeks with no work at all, giving me a lot of time to be there for your dogs/ animals. Please reach out with dates you have in mind to discuss specifics! I do not care for dogs in my own home due to our landlord being strict about no dogs. But In your home, I try to stick to the dogs normal routine as much as possible, whatever that may be for you. I’m currently working from home, or when I’m out of the house very part time, so I’m able to spend a lot of time providing care to your pets. I do not provide boarding at my own home, but will care for pets in your home following whatever care routine is best for you.
About: I grew up with litters of German Shepherd puppies which sparked my lifelong love of animals. As adult, I raised and bred Labrador Retrievers. I now share my home with five cats, two Labs and six chickens. I'm also a proud grandparent to two wonderful grandchildren. Retired and living in Vermont. I currently own 2 cats and have experience caring for and administering medicine to sick and/or elderly pets. I am considerate of individual animal’s boundaries and their unique needs.
