About: I've had dogs and cats my entire life, and I have experience with dogs of all sizes and kinds, ranging from Pomeranian to Great Pyrenees. I currently have a cat of my own, and grew up taking care of cats of all ages. In college, I volunteered at a humane society where I worked on socializing cats and walking dogs, on leash of course, prior to adoption. There, I also learned how to prevent the spread of infection, both in a kennel and from home to home. I also have experience taking care of fish and poultry, doing water changes and chemical balancing, if needed. I'm currently a graduate student at ISU, so my schedule is very flexible to fit any schedule you require, including midday walks and drop-in visits. I am very detail oriented and will ensure the best care for your pet. My attention to detail ensures that any emergencies will be taken care of promptly, and your pet will get the most ideal care for them.

She was even able to put her D1 skills to test when one of my pups got out the door. August literally gave her a run for her money lol. Even after that happened she was in great spirits. About: I’ve had a dog in my household my entire life. I love to spend time with dogs more than humans. I like to play with them and show affection. I also love to take my dog on walks and runs. My dad taught me a couple training skills as well. I also pet sitter for someone for a week and stayed the night the whole week, and have done some weekends as well. They always went so smoothly! I go to college at Iowa state university and am done around 12 every day except Monday. Monday I have a lab that goes until 6. I would be able to stop in whenever! I treat each home with respect and treat the dog like they are my own. I make them my priority and make sure they are happy!

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats since I was a kid. I know how to handle extra-large breeds as well as small breeds. I even know how to handle senior dogs and puppies. I currently have a dog and a cat I am responsible for caring for. I take care of my cat full-time and the dog I take care of when I go home. I am responsible for feeding them and cleaning up after them. My dog I will take on walks and play with her. I would make sure they have water and an adequate amount of food. I also ensure their litter box is cleaned if it is a cat. If it were a dog I would take them out for a walk or into to back yard for them to go to the bathroom.

About: I have been dogsitting, catsitting, and housesitting since I was in high school! I also worked for 3 years at a general practice veterinary clinic, working with animals boarding at the facility to provide them care. I have also worked 2 years in the ICU of the Small Animal Hospital at Iowa State, taking care of patients. I am currently working part-time, so I have lots of flexibility with my schedule when it comes to housesitting, walking your dogs, or any care you might need! I am happy to play with your pets, take them outside, and ensure they have company! I cannot care for pets in my own home (territorial cat, oops!) but more than happy to hang out in your home and ensure your pets are happy and taken care of.

About: I’m a lifelong pet owner and have experience taking care of both dogs and cats. Over the past six years, I’ve been responsible for feeding, walking, playing with, and providing general care and attention to my own dog. These last few years I’ve also pet sat for my family members and friends, taking care of their dogs and cats. I am currently a student at Iowa State University, but everyday I have breaks or long stretches of time where I can drop in on and take care of your pets! About: I am an avid animal lover who worked as a vet tech for five years. My spouse and teenage girls are also animal lovers! We LOVE to have animal visitors! We have small dogs of our own who enjoy making new pet friends. I am a full-time nurse with very flexible hours and my spouse is home all summer! My teenagers are also available to help with our guests. We have a fenced in yard, and love to take our dogs for walks. Our dogs are very friendly with other cats and dogs. We have a special needs dog, so we are very comfortable with giving medications and other special needs.

About: I’ve been dog walking and sitting for both relatives and family friends since I was maybe 5 or 6. I grew up in a big dog family and have always had a passion for animals. I’m starting school this fall at Iowa State University, and I plan to major in Animal Biology so I can get myself started on the pre-veterinary track. To get some extra hands-on experience, I want to “officially” get some pet-sitting under my belt through Rover. I have also recently started volunteering at the Ames Animal Shelter and I love the exposure that I’m getting! Apart from starting college in late August, I am currently unemployed and am looking for one (or more!) part-time job(s) to add some more structure to my summer :) From there, I’ll probably stay active on Rover, but my availability might become a little less flexible. I have two cats and one dog (all girls and all spayed!) that know how to behave with guests. Our dog loves to make friends and is very sociable. I’m perfectly fine visiting or staying overnight for your pets, and they will always be welcome at my house. I can adjust based on whatever your preferences are!

About: I have been around animals all my life. I love playing with them and taking them for a walk. Its been a pleasure to be with animals. I am retired so I can be available at anytime to take care of dogs. I will care for them like they are my own. I will be able to walk them or just play with them in the yard. About: Growing up I have lived with dogs of all sizes and other animals such as farm animals my entire life. I know how to care for a pet to give them the best life possible, including all needed medications. Pets are family and they bring a lot of joy and meaning into our lives. I have a talent for taking great dog pictures, which I can send for updates! I believe dogs make our lives whole, so I will give your fur baby/ies the care and attention they need to stay happy and healthy. My 18 Ib long haired dachshund is great with other animals and loves to socialize with my parents dogs and dogs at the park, walks, shopping, etc.! I take Rico on morning walks every morning, afternoon, and then to the dog park every evening, I live close to our neighborhood dog park so I always take him there to run around and play fetch. I can also throw in a free bath. I always make time for pet care! I walk my own dog daily and my dog is in love with our friendly neighborhood dog park. I’m excited to help care for others’ pets when they are busy/unavailable. The majority of my availability is over the weekends; however, i have a lot more free time now so please message me to better arrange as I have a lot more flexibility. I have had many dogs growing up over the years and have a friendly long haired dachshund wiener dog of my own! I’m very close to my neighborhood dog park and have side walks I could easily take the dogs for a nice little stroll around the block. I’m able to crate your dog to fit their needs, schedule, and preferences. There is always water available, and will check by the hour for bathroom breaks, and can send you pictures and videos every few hours to inform you on how everything is going. I make sure to ask questions right away and as needed to best care for pets in all environments.

About: I have been around all kinds of animals since I was 7. My stepmom owned a vet clinic for a majority of my life, and I did lots of work and volunteering there. I also have 6 dogs of my own! I have a part-full time job depending on the week. I am available any time on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Saturday, Wednesday after 3, Thursday I am available after 6! I am very comfortable walking dogs as I have been acclimated to it my whole life, I am comfortable with collars, harnesses, and adjustable/choke collars (but would rather not use them).
