About: Caring for others has been a meaningful part of my life for as long as I can remember—both people and animals. I’ve cared for my own pets, dog-sat for family and friends, rescued lost pets and helped reunite them with their owners, and have always been drawn to animals who need a little extra care and patience. I currently have a nine-year-old Beagle/Toy Poodle mix named Millie and a cat named Josie, who is about six years old. I rescued Josie as a stray when she was sick and in need of care. I took her in, helped her get healthy, patiently earned her trust, and ultimately decided to make her part of my family. Her journey has given me firsthand experience with cats who may be fearful, shy, anxious, temperamental, or slow to trust, and taught me how important patience, understanding, and respecting an animal’s boundaries can be. I’m comfortable with animals of different sizes, personalities, energy levels, and temperaments. I pay close attention to animal body language and behavior and can recognize the signs that a dog or cat is comfortable, fearful, overstimulated, anxious, playful, or welcoming. I believe understanding those signals is one of the most important parts of caring for an animal because every pet communicates differently. My caregiving experience also extends to people. I’ve cared for infants, toddlers, and children, helped my mother with babysitting while growing up, and have provided care and companionship to elderly individuals. My professional caregiving background also includes working as an obstetric technician, caring for newborns, young children, and mothers following delivery, as well as caring for elderly patients, including those who needed comfort, companionship, and attentive support. These experiences have taught me to be patient, observant, dependable, gentle, and attentive to the needs of those in my care. Whether I’m caring for a person or an animal, I understand that they may not always be able to tell me exactly what they need. I’ve learned to pay attention, recognize changes in behavior, and respond with compassion. I understand that leaving your pet with someone else can be difficult. I take that trust seriously. I’m comfortable following your pet’s normal routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, companionship, and giving them the patience and space they need to feel comfortable. I also believe in keeping owners informed and communicating if I notice anything unusual about their pet. Most importantly, I don’t see pet sitting as simply “watching an animal.” I see it as caring for a member of someone’s family. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, loved, and genuinely cared for while you’re away—and for you to have peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands. My schedule is flexible because I do contract work, allowing me to focus on pet visits and walks. I’m happy to work with clients’ schedules and do my best to accommodate their routines, work hours, and pets’ individual needs. I prioritize safety, trust, and making every pet feel comfortable in my care. I have experience with dogs and cats of different sizes, personalities, and temperaments, including shy, anxious, fearful, energetic, and more independent animals. I pay close attention to body language and behavior so I can recognize when a pet is comfortable, overwhelmed, nervous, or needs space. Whether I’m caring for a pet in my home or visiting a client’s home, I will respect their routines, boundaries, environment, and individual needs. My goal is to provide calm, attentive, compassionate care while giving owners peace of mind that their pets are safe and well cared for.

About: I've been taking care of pets since I was younger. I have had cats, dogs and tarantulas, so I am used to a wide range of animals. I live alone and work a typical 9-5 job as an attorney in town, and I do not have any pets of my own. I always pet-sit for my friends' cats and dogs, so I would love to do it with Rover. I love to play games with the animals to keep them stimulated. I also enjoy walking animals and simply being with them. I am very good with both dogs and cats.

About: Previously, I worked as a Veterinary Pathology Technician. This position allowed me to pay attention to certain changes in ability and health. I have experience in dog/cat boarding, administering pet meds, bathing small/large dogs , and clipping nails. I am able to provide meals 3 times per day. I am available on the afternoons of weekdays, weekends, and holidays to provide loving care. I allow a sense of freedom and opportunity to roam around the area of the home or play while continuously making sure your pet is safe.

About: I've cared for cats and dogs with all kinds of personalities, so I’m very attuned to what each individual pet needs to feel safe and relaxed. I take time to learn your pet’s routines, quirks, and preferences, and I follow your instructions closely so their day feels as “normal” as possible while you’re away. I’m patient with shy or anxious pets and gentle with seniors who need a slower pace, extra potty breaks, or help with stairs. In the past, I have fostered a pup who needed purposeful walks and extra mental stimulation and also a sweet 17-year-old cat that needed capsule medication twice a day. You can also expect clear communication from me every visit, with updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing and can travel with peace of mind. I currently work from home and have a flexible schedule. I ensure that all visits and walks are planned in my calendar well in advance so that your pet gets consistent attention and isn’t squeezed in “when I can.” Unless mentioned, I’m available for morning, midday, and evening walks or drop-ins on most weekdays. I keep weekends open for extra visits or travelers who are out of town. When caring for pets in your home, my goal is to keep everything as close to 'normal' as possible for them and for you. I follow your instructions closely for feeding, walks, playtime, and any medications or special routines. I take time to give your pet the attention and reassurance they need and stick to the schedule they’re used to so they feel safe and comfortable. I also treat your home with respect. I wipe paws if needed, keep food and water areas tidy, lock up carefully, and double-check doors, crates, and gates before I leave. After each visit, I send a quick update and photos so you know how your pet is doing and how the visit went.

About: I have cared for just about every animal type - dogs, cats, rodents, fish, and a few exotic reptiles and amphibians. In that scope, I’ve managed surprise litters, caring for young and senior pets with all their needs. I’m currently working from home, so my schedule is very flexible. I will have my elementary age kids and our senior dog with me every other week, and we’re unfortunately allergic to cats. I have a large fenced in yard, plus my own dog every other week. She is a bit picky about other dogs depending on their size, age, and personality.

About: As a dedicated dog owner to three wonderful pups, I understand that pets are family. I treat every dog with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own. My dogs are fed healthy, high-quality food, enjoy nutritious treats, receive plenty of exercise and affection, and are groomed by me with care. When your dog is with me, you can have peace of mind knowing they’ll be loved, well cared for, and treated like one of the family. I work full-time remotely as a tax auditor, which gives me the flexibility to provide consistent care and attention throughout the day. Because I work from home, your pet won’t be left alone for long periods and will receive plenty of companionship, potty breaks, playtime, and love. Caring for animals is already part of my daily routine with my own three dogs, so welcoming your pet into my home feels natural. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a securely fenced backyard for supervised play and exercise, as well as several dog gates throughout my home to safely separate pets when needed for feeding, rest, or introductions. My three friendly, well-socialized dogs love having visitors, but I always take the time to ensure every pet feels comfortable at their own pace. I’ll treat your dog like one of my own—with plenty of love, attention, playtime, and a safe, caring environment.

She also kindly helped clean one of my pups up when he had some digestive issues. She was kind, reliable and my pups were better off with her caring for them while I was away.”

About: I’ve helped family members take care of dogs by walking and bathing when needed. I’ve always loved being around dogs all my life as I grew up around them and worked in pet stores since 2022. I am currently working full time but the earliest i can stop by is 8 am and the latest being 9:30 at night if needed. I am comfortable with working with any restrictions required by owner, even if it means crating the animal, or any dieting the animal may have. I am also CPR certified through the American Red Cross, i can also provide proof of certification.

About: I'll love your dog as much as my own! We can all be friends together, maybe have a treat and play with our favorite toys! I'm currently working part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to cater to your loved further baby. I've loved animals since birth pretty much. All shapes, breeds, and sizes are welcome! I have a big warm house with a friendly small pup. I have an open yard, but I also have a small fenced in porch. I love to share treats and play fetch!

About: I am an animal lover and have over 33 years of experience! I grew up having dogs and cats. I have had 3 of my own dogs and 2 cats, 4 of which were strays. I have trained all of my furry friends and even helped my Boston Terrier Mix have puppies. I have also cared for elderly pets and so I understand what it takes to give them the love and treatment they need in their more frail years. I currently have very flexible hours and can take care of your furry friend whenever you need me. I had a career in Nursing, but I am currently not practicing so I am free to help you out with your needs. I am very reliable and trustworthy. I have always had pets in my home, but take great pride in my home being well cared for and clean. I would ensure your home would be taken care of in the same way while looking after your pets. Whether it is my home or yours, or taking your pets for a walk, I will be respectful and ensure your pet and your home is well looked after.

About: My family has had dogs since I was very young, and I have had my own dog for 3 years now. She is a rescue, and I have had her since she was 6 months old. I work full-time in a bakery and am off most days around 1-3pm. I do have some free mornings as well and would be able to drop by with notice. I live close to East Nashville with my dog, Millie, and cat, Spoon! I live by all the good walking trails. I would love to schedule some dog-walking nearby so that i can take full advantage of all the great weather we are having.

About: I’ve owned dogs growing up and cats most of adulthood. I have both fostered & boarded dogs and cats on and off for 15 years. Both my cats have been raised around dogs & cats coming over to visit, so as long as the animals coming to stay are cat friendly, mine will be fine with the company. I’ve been entrusted to pet sit sick animals in need of regular medication without any problems. I’ve bathed both cats and dogs, so if needed, I can give your fur baby a bath too! I just started back to school, so I’m unavailable Monday-Thursday 6am-3:30pm. Outside of these hours, I am happy to take care of your fur babies as needed, whenever needed!😊 I have a nice home with a fenced in yard to allow pups to run and play. I do my best to give tons of love and play with all in my care. If you’re working on some training, I would be happy to help continue with this.

About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was little, but have offered services to other folks and their pets since I’ve been able to drive. I’m the owner of two dogs myself and I’m very familiar with breeds like chihuahuas, pit bulls, and coonhounds. I have cared for dogs of all ages and degrees of care (medicine, specific diets). I work for myself at a salon, so I have complete freedom of my schedule. This allows me to have more flexibility with clients during the day and on weekends/holidays. I think all animals thrive more in their own environments, which is why I don’t offer services in my own home. My dogs have their own boundaries that I want to respect.. I will take the time to get to know your animal and gain their trust in order to provide the best care for them while you’re away.

About: I have lived/taken care of animals my whole life. Have taken care of dogs,cats,bunnies,lizards. I have two dogs at home that I care for and have trained. I work at a coffee shop in the morning/afternoons during the week but after noon my days are pretty open and am usually available anytime after that. I have a fenced in backyard and take my dogs on a walk 1-2 times a day. I follow whatever instructions are given and make sure the house is clean before leaving. When taking care of dogs will make sure to take them out every couple hrs.
