About: I’ve cared for puppies and dogs since I was 10 for neighbors and friends, as well as my own childhood dog. I love it as much as they do. :) I work during the week but I have ample time on evenings and weekends to play with the great pups in the area. I love being active outdoors and bringing a furry friend sounds like a great way to spend my time. I have a small space and will not be boarding animals. When I am in a client’s home I respect their space and understand that it is the animals home as well and behave respectfully.
About: I have three rescue boston terriers. My husband and I have fostered 21 dogs. I have experience with dogs terrified of humans, terrified of other dogs, not house trained and dogs that eat my AirPods. Dogs are special, deserving of patience and kindness. I found it tough to find the right person for my dogs so I decided to become what I wanted in others! I work from home with a flexible schedule. I can come by and let dogs out, take walks or have them stay at my house under 24 hour supervision. I have a fenced yard and a larger yard with 25 foot lead rope. I also have a doggie door that leads to the fenced in yard. We do not frequent dog parks but I live near a large greenway for great walks and sniffs.
About: What sets me apart as a dog sitter is my combination of specialized skills extensive experience and passion for Animal Care! Some of the key factors highlighting my unique capabilities include puppy training, senior pet care, personalized attention, and putting Safety First, all of which have been enhanced with taking care of my own 2 cavapoo puppies, Duchess and Coco. I currently a full-time graduate student obtaining my Master's of Public Policy. Even with this school schedule, I am able to have flexibility on the weekends and early afternoons till the evening during the week. Caring for pets, whether in my own home or a client's home, is a rewarding and fulfilling experience that requires plenty of attention of detail, compassion, and a bit of enthusiasm! Understanding a pet's unique needs based on their species, breed, age, and personality can reduce anxiety for the pet and pet owner while they are away. Creating a safe, happy, and pleasant environment is paramount when caring for pets. This includes securing hazardous items, like cleaning supplies or small objects they could swallow.

About: I am an experienced animal care professional with over three years of hands-on work supporting the health, safety, and well-being of animals. I spent two years managing a nonprofit cat rescue, where I began as an adoption counselor and grew into a leadership role overseeing daily operations, foster coordination, and animal care. Through this work, I developed extensive experience with cats who are special needs, medically fragile, or receiving hospice care, both in shelter and foster-home settings. In addition, I worked for seven months at an animal hospital as a veterinary technician, gaining clinical experience in animal handling, administering medications, giving injections, providing subcutaneous fluids, and supporting veterinary procedures. I am comfortable working with animals of varying temperaments and medical conditions, and I approach every case with patience, empathy, and attention to detail. I am deeply passionate about animal welfare and pride myself on combining practical medical knowledge with compassionate, individualized care. I currently have open availability however I do frequently foster special needs and hospice cats but that is something I’m able to work into my schedule. In a Client’s Home, I respect the client’s space and routines, keeping the environment as familiar as possible for the pet. I prioritize safety by securely locking doors, gates, and crates during and after visits. I maintain open communication with the client through messages or photo updates, providing transparency and peace of mind. I monitor the pet’s behavior, appetite, and energy level to catch any early signs of stress or illness. Ultimately, my goal is to ensure pets feel safe, cared for, and happy—just as if they were my own.

I'm hoping I can apply their perspective to my writing. I'm looking forward to meeting your fur baby! I like to go on walks with dogs throughout various hours of the day from early morning to early evening when I’m not touring. I also can do drop ins and check on them for potty breaks and play! Overnights and sittings are also an option for those who are out of town. My schedule tends to be more free during the week, but sometimes I also do sittings. Open to holidays in normal days of fun with the fur babies! I try to approach new fur friends with a low calm tone of voice, a friendly demeanor, with mutual respect as I would treat any human. I see them as any other living thing on the planet that deserves equal kind treatment.

Stanford Estates dog parents share their Rover experiences
Andrea did a fantastic job taking care of my dog Lucy during the Thanksgiving holiday. She’s by far the best dog sitter I’ve had. Her communication was great, lots of videos and updates. If you have a dog or cat that has anxiety and doesn’t like it when you’re away, Andrea will have that healing touch. I highly recommend!

Keegan is exceptionally gifted with animals. She bonded immediately with our Sheltie Dani, whom she walked all summer. In fact he looked for her first thing when he got out of his crate. Having grown up on a ranch, she has a wealth of information about animals. This proved extremely helpful because at just over a year old, Dani is still a puppy. She conscientiously told us anything unusual that he did, e.g. yesterday he surreptitiously ate a small rock, typical puppy behavior. She came back everyday with stories of Dani’s antics (he loves to chase dragon flies!), showing how she lets animals into her heart. Keegan is extraordinary. We hate to see her go back to college in OK. We and Dani look forward to more walks when she comes home from school at the holidays!
