About: I have had every animal you can imagine since I was a kid. Paws, hooves, claws or scales, animals have always been my passion. I have worked at as a vet tech full time and on the side since 2004 and worked at the Zoo for 16 years caring for a wide variety of animals during my time there. My boyfriend and I both work from home these days so one of us is always with the pups. I am experienced in grooming (bathing, shaving, brushing, nail trims and anal gland expression) and medication administration (oral and injections). I recently left my career and am looking to start a pet sitting business along with running my soap business full time. My boyfriend and I are both home all day and so your pups will always have us around to snuggle and play with. We have two Australian Shepherds, Paisley and Tucker, at our house. The yard is fully fenced in with a privacy fence and is completely secured. Tucker loves to burn off energy running around outside while Paisley is an older gal and doesn’t play as much anymore, so he loves to have friends to run with. Our dogs and the dogs in our care are never just left outside alone. One of us is always out there with them throwing a ball or just hanging out watching.

“Kirby has been a long time walker of my two pups and she always makes sure they are well taken care of! She also gives good ideas because she has dogs of her own. Your dogs are in good hands with her.”

“Anna did a wonderful job walking our two fur babies while we were on vacation. Great updates and pictures gave us peace of mind we needed while away.”

About: I’ve cared for puppies and dogs since I was 10 for neighbors and friends, as well as my own childhood dog. I love it as much as they do. :) I work during the week but I have ample time on evenings and weekends to play with the great pups in the area. I love being active outdoors and bringing a furry friend sounds like a great way to spend my time. I have a small space and will not be boarding animals. When I am in a client’s home I respect their space and understand that it is the animals home as well and behave respectfully.

About: I’ve had pets all of my life. I’ve been a pet sitter off and on for 20 years. I feel it’s a true privilege to be trusted with another person’s pet; therefore, I take my job very seriously. You will never have to worry - I provide an exceptional experience for my clients. I work part-time while I’m in school to finish my Nurse Practitioner degree. Please message me to see if I’m available as my work schedule varies week to week. I am comfortable walking dogs or simply letting them out. I’m very safety conscious and always double check locks, fences and doors. I love sending texts with photos to provide updates so you feel at ease.

About: I grew up in a home always having at least 2 pups running around & have always enjoyed being around animals. While I have always helped out with our own animals ever since I was little, I have been house sitting/pet sitting for others since I was 10! I also have experience with a wide age range, from puppies to senior pups. I have a few families I regularly dog-sit consistently that I’ve met through rover, and would love to add some new faces to my “dog family” & love on your pup while you’re away! :) I work full time Monday-Thursday, these days I am free after 6pm. I am also available on weekends (Friday-Sunday) for all the cuddles, walks & fetch games we can fit in! I have a cat - Luna - who is the sweetest ball of fluff you will ever meet, however, she is very anxious and shy. While she does very well with other cats, she doesn’t do well with dogs. Watching your pup in their own environment would be ideal, not only for them, but for her.

About: I’ve always had a dog or animal in general in my life, whether it was the family cats and dogs or my own pets. I have two golden retrievers and have helped care for many a family member and friend’s pets. I love dogs and animals of all sizes and breeds! I work as a night shift nurse only 3 days a week, so all of the other days I’m free to care for all the pets! I will always make sure to get all the information needed to properly care for your pet and make sure they’re safe and cared for!

I’ve had pets my whole life and look forward to taking care of your special friend! As always, your pet’s safety is my number one priority! Would you like to do this ☀️ 😎 🌊 🏝, instead of this 😬😔🤨🤔😱😥? Do you want to relax and enjoy spending your time *not* worrying about your pets? I bet so! I’m humble and will follow any specific instructions you give me. I respect your rules for your pet. I have a big heart for all pets, including senior and special needs pets. New to Rover? Get $20 off of your very first booking ever! Use my code SUMMEC69315 ☺️ My name is Summer and I’m from Nashville. I know what it’s like leaving my pets with someone while I’m away. It’s scary, they’re a part of our families! We want to make sure they are safe, happy, and being taken care of by someone we can depend on. I know that nothing but the very best is acceptable for your pet! I want you to not have to constantly worry. With me, they’re in great hands! As a pet owner, I can relate. I was raised in a family where all animals are family. Fun fact about me, my family and I have owned horses for many years. When I was a teenager, I led trail rides at a local horseback riding stables. Also, I’m currently an active volunteer at the animal shelter. Please note, I currently own zero pets and no pets other than your own will be allowed in my home at once. To respect your privacy, I will never post photos or videos of your pets on Instagram. I only post photos and videos of adoptable dogs from the shelter with whom I’m currently working to get adopted. I only keep adoptable dogs in my home when I am *not* taking care of a client’s pet. Currently, I work for the airlines. I consider myself a world traveler but I still have sooo many places to explore! Fun fact about me, my most visited destination is Italy. However, I have also worked as a certified pharmacy technician and have worked as a retail team lead/key holder. If you have any questions and want to reach out, I’d love to chat! ☺️ Whether it’s a new puppy or a beloved senior friend, I will give them all the same care and attention, as if they were my own. Interested, but not quite sure about booking with me? I would be happy to hear from you! Also, I would be happy to set up a Meet and Greet, so you know that your pet and I will be a great match! ☺️ I’m familiar with meeting shy dogs so I’m happy to spend some extra time when meeting them so they can get comfortable, if necessary. I am certified in Cat & Dog CPR and First Aid and am currently working on renewing my certification. I would be happy to provide you with certification validation. ☺️ Wow, did you get this far?! You must love the details like me! Read below for more! ☺️ I look forward to hearing from you! 🙂 Feel free to shoot me a message with any questions you may have and I’ll be happy to answer them for you. I am currently out on break from my primary work so I’ll have plenty of time and attention to attend to your sweet dogs and cats! Also, I’m an active volunteer with my local animal shelter so I’m familiar with working with all kinds of dogs! I’m excited to work with any kind of dog no matter the breed, age, personality, or other factors. I treat them all with the utmost loving care and respect. I enjoy taking care of all kinds of dogs! I am very detailed and methodical in my work. Safety is always my number one priority! I keep a very watchful eye and I have great situational awareness. I’m familiar with taking care of puppies, timid dogs, super chewers, and wannabe escape artists (I won’t let them escape!) so I am super observant and am familiar to watching pets very closely. I keep my home very clean and secure. It’s important to me that my home is free from clutter and anything that your pet could come into contact with that may potentially be unsafe for them. I clean and disinfect my home regularly (when pet is not in home) and I don’t use harsh fragrances like candles etc. in my home. In my home, it’s only my longterm boyfriend (who is also an active volunteer with the local animal shelter) and myself. We do not smoke and we do not allow smoking in our home. We typically keep a quieter environment (so your pet can have plenty of restorative naps if they desire), as well as a comfortable temperature. As a sidenote, I always clean up pet messes indoors and outdoors. I have an unfenced yard so I will not let your pets off-leash in my yard. I’m happy to give them walks around the neighborhood or (with your permission) taking them to a local park. I prefer harnesses due to the possibility of collar slips over your pet’s head if they pull during walking. Please note, for safety reasons, I won’t take your dog to a “dog park” or allow them to interact with other dogs (unless they are you or your family’s dog). My one exception is that if you and your family/friends etc. are needing pet care, please let me know and I’ll be happy to adjust my online available petcare calendar spaces so that I can take care of your animals together. Regarding boarding in my home, I use a Waterdrop filter so your pet will always have fresh, clean filtered water to drink. You’re happy to provide whatever food/toys/supplies you like and I will use them per your instruction. I certainly don’t mind the details! The more I know about your pet, the more comfortable and enjoyable I can make your pet’s stay with me. If you choose boarding in my home, I ask (at minimum) that you provide sufficient pet food for the duration of their stay. I also ask that you provide their harness that fits them appropriately (I require this for walks, ask me about exceptions). I don’t require a pet id tag/name tag but it’s certainly preferred. Please feel free to give me any supplies/toys you like and want me to use for your pet. However, if you would like, I do have stainless steel water and food bowls (at minimum, I clean them after every stay) and a large size simple flat dog bed (more like a plush mat). I also have a very very large traditional dog crate if your dog needs to be crated at night (super chewer, etc). If you allow your pet to stay on couch or bed, this is certainly fine, as well. I will never leave your pet when they are in my care. If you choose drop-ins or dog walking, rest assured that I will not leave your pet if I’m concerned about their health or safety. (I never leave pets by themselves when I’m boarding them at my home). My communication is excellent and I will complete Rover cards with plenty of cute photos with every visit. I welcome you to call or message me at any time.

About: You will never find a person with a bigger heart for animals, especially pups! I am the one who gasps every time I see a dog in public and always asks if I can give a pet. I grew up with multiple dogs in my childhood home and as soon as I moved out, I got one of my own. I now have two fur babies and they are my pride and joy. And talk about spoiled…! If you chose me to watch your furry friend, you can rest assured that they will be loved and cared for as if they are my own. I have a full time career and I am not in this for the money, I simply love dogs and I thought this would be a fun hobby associated with one of my biggest passions! I work a full time job, but I am the big boss so I have a lot of flexibility and work remote many days. I mainly plan to accept offers for the weekend, but I am willing to make exceptions if you need me during the week! I have two dogs of my own and I have many years of experience caring for pups. My two boys are treated like absolute “diva kings” as we call them. I love playing, cuddling, going for walks… I can support any lifestyle your dog prefers! Safety is also very important to me, as I know how precious our pups are to us.

About: Hello! I am a Tennessee native, and my husband is from New Jersey originally. We absolutely adore animals! We have two basset hounds, a cat, and three fish. We both grew up with our own pets, and now we have our own fur (& scales!) family together. We understand how hard it is to leave your pets, whether for an hour or the work day. We understand the struggle to trust in someone else to care for them the way you do. Tell us every detail about your pet, no matter how small it may seem! Where is their favorite scratch spot? Do they have a nickname? Do they have a favorite potty spot in the yard or neighborhood? We have experience with our own pets giving medication, hand feeding them because they’re stubborn and spoiled, and sleeping in star fish position because they take up the entire bed. We’ve been through the puppy and kitten phase too. We have experience caring for little pets such as freshwater fish and hamsters. We have your back! My husband works from home 3 days a week. I am a nurse and work 3 days per week. We have flexibility during the week between the both of us and on weekends! We will follow all instructions exactly and provide photo and message updates to owners. We have a fenced in mini yard, and our dogs are always looking to make new friends!
